Instructor was really really weird. He was okay but sometimes being rude to people. He was mad at me just because i charged my phone in the room, and didn't asked him. He yelled at other people because of the same issues.

I went to this place to take the 5 hour video for the road test. The man who was giving it made us stay more than 5 hours talking about his personal life. He get so stressed if you want to go to the restroom and it is hard to understand what he is saying. This is not professional!! Save your money and time!

I took my 5 hour class with this driving school which provided lots of useful information. The proctor also made the 5 hours bearable. Lenoid Khromoy was my instructor for practice lessons and he was fantastic. I was well trained for my road test which I passed my first time taking it. Overall a great experience!

I passed exam easily! And was so scared before !Amazing school and Lenny is the best teacher ! And the price is the cheapest out of all driving schools I called to. Lenny is super professional and positive ! And inspired me with courage and confidence! With Lenny you will pass the test for sure!

I absolutely had the most informative 5 hours. Leonid was our teacher and with his sense of humor and also character knew how to keep the lecture flowless. I have to say that He is very strict when it comes to cell phones, I do not recommend to use your phone at all. I am telling you.... He warns you once and maybe twice but I just experienced a girl wasting 4:30 hr of her time, She got kicked out just when it was about to end. I give it to Leonid because She did abuse the use of it and as a citizen and a future driver I don't want to be driving in front, behind or next to a driver who is absolutely addicted to her phone. This is what's happening in today's society :-( people are beyond sick and needy to their mobile devices. Other than that please listen and ask question and you shall receive. Thank you Leonid!

After moving to the United States from Europe, I had to take my US Driver's license. I did my 5hour certificate, took a couple of lessons with their driving teachers in order to refresh my driving skills and learn more specifics about the US , scheduled my road test and got my license. Super easy and helpful experience. Highly recommendable!

Wonderful school! My whole family and I have taken lessons with them over the years. We all passed our exams and had great experience. Yes, there is a bit of a wait time for Road test but thats through DMV and same rules apply for all. Otherwise, very professional driving lessons and the 5Hr Class was a lot more interesting than I thought. Thank you Action for helping our whole family be a safe and licensed driver!

The worse drive school ever, don't waist your time going there! Very difficult to schedule a drive class the Teachers are rude and mean, and if you are a new driver with out any driving experience you going to have for sure a big change to fail your road test. Worse school ever!!!!! I got soooo regret to pick this school, waist of time and money.

The instructors know what they're doing and are familiar with the area you are driving in, and they have a lot of experience. Lenny is great and helped me pass my exam!!

Giving 3 stars only because instructor and the management was nice, but thats about it! Took 5 classes and the instructor would always hold my wheel, didnt teach the proper way to park as well. Also I failed my road test after these 5 classes because the instructor told me that I shouldn't hit the break( when I always tried to hit it) when I make turns, and the reason why I failed is because I didn't hit the break (as I was told). Took classes with another school , learned proper parking , was told that I SHOULD hit the break when I turn, and PASSED my test. Don't waste your money if you really wanna learn how to drive in NYC.

When I missed one of my five paid-for lessons, I was not reimbursed, nor was the lesson rescheduled, because I did not fulfill the terms specified on the "contract". The management is extremely rude and unprofessional, and they don't care about their customers because we pay for lessons in advance. On the day of my road test, they stuffed three students into one vehicle, making the test process last three times as long as it should have. Save your time and money.

Definitely recommend this school. Their packages are very competitively priced. Office staff, Irena, is really helpful, patient, and flexible with scheduling the classes. The 5 hour class with Len was awesome. Flies by really fast. I had my road driving instructions with Paul, and he is the utmost professional. Always on time, and even if he's only a few mins. behind schedule, due to traffic etc., would call to inform you he's on his way. Paul shows exactly what is needed, not only to pass the exams, but tips on what to do on NYC roads. I had driven internationally when I started my lessons, it was a matter of getting the "feel back". However if you're totally new to driving, trust the process. They know what they're doing, and it will fall into place by the time you take your Road Test. Paul's prediction on what I will score on the exam on the day was exactly spot on. (got a small penalty of 10pts for parking). All in all I have no hesitation in recommending their services for your endeavors to get a NY State Driving License.

Disregard the lower ratings and negative reviews. I was taught by Mr. Leon of Action Driving School and passed perfectly on my driving test with my first try. Just take what your instructor says to heart— make notes, review them, and refresh yourself with traffic laws and signs as you go. As long as you pay attention and be calm, your experience and money will be worth their while. The instructors are extremely patient, careful, and vigilant. I highly recommend them to anyone who is nervous about driving for the first time. For anyone wondering, I took the 5 hour class and a 15 lesson package since I did not have much wheel time prior to nearing college. The 5 hour class has very useful information and the proctor (Mr. Lenny, when I attended) is hilarious. He made the experience definitely worthwhile and immersive. During my time in road classes, I had to reschedule my classes for multiple life-unforseen reasons and the management was extremely careful and timely to help me do so. They even reminded me to reschedule when I missed five classes and helped me pick out available dates. Schedule at least one double class so you can become familiar with driving for longer periods. Take the challenge and try different weather!
