Coach als is the best driving school in the state. Coach Eddie is amazing, he is hilarious, nice , and you can always have a good conversation. Coach al is funny and keeps the class entertaining. There is not a boring moment in the class. I highly recommend that you go to coach al’s class. Driving hours are based on your schedule and the coaches are determined to get you to pass the class.

I took the 6hr course a few days ago and I've been trying to find the best way to encourage everyone to give Coach Al their business. Go to Coach Al, be honest with Coach Al, and give 100% during his class. He's not wasting your time, and he sure isn't wasting his. The information he provided during this class was far better than any I have received in my life. On top of all that great information, the price is reasonable and Coach Al wants to see every student succeed. Honestly, I hope I get to see Coach Al again. He left a very positive impact in my life during that class and I've been sharing his wisdom to whoever will listen. Seriously, follow his advice and see how much easier driving can be. It is good and fun class. I have a good and awesome time. Coach Eddie and Coach Al teaches a lot of important information that will help you and to know about safety before you start driving. Coach Eddie teaches what happens if someone is impaired or was drinking will impact your life. Also, knowing the rules of the road, knowing how to parallel park, backing and forward parking. Help us to relax while driving and drive at night and during the day. I am strongly recommend of taking coach Al driving school.

Coach Als driving school is the place to learn top noch driving skills, while learning other basic skills. The staff were really understanding, and they are really humorous, especially Coach AL. They were also very thoughtful and sincere in making sure we learned a lot in a three week time span. The way they teach you, the skills and knowledge, it tends to stay with you for a long time. This is the best driving school in all of New Mexico without a doubt. The driving instructors put in all of their time to better their customers and student drivers. Honestly the best! I've called all around and was treated rudely and without a care. When I called here Kay was honestly so nice about everything! When I had to go to the ER the first time we scheduled a drive she was very concerned and helped me reschedule. I just finished taking drivers ed at this driving school and it was one of the best times I've had. They had me drive on the highway, in the rain, and at night! Not only that but they also have the students work their way up to getting on the interstate highway. There's never been a single accident! I have four kids and the youngest went to this driving school. I wish all my kids would have attended this driving school. They made us feel special and the perks that this school (pick up from school, drop off at home, etc...) as part of the driving instruction was great. They have the kids get their permits when the school starts so they can drive with a parent or instructor right of way. They made my daughter feel like their own child. I am Chinese and relocated by company to ABQ to support a new fab startup here. When I accepted this job assignment, I planned to learn how to drive and get a driver license in US. This is because it will take about one year to get a driver license in China and public transportation in US is not as convenient as in China. My assignment schedule is quite flexible (may end in April or in September), so I need to complete the learning and get driver license by end of April. Therefore, I need a private behind-the-wheel driving class that supports tight schedule. I did a lot of homework to find out the best driving school in ABQ and after going through almost all online reviews of Coach Al’s driving school, I believe it is the one I am looking for. As a totally new beginner, I was quite nervous during my first driving class. Coach Eddie instructed me how to drive and helped me establishing confidence in a very quick way. I drove on public road in my first class and freeway in my second class. Curve roads, residential roads and some under-construction roads were also included for driving practice. Eddie pointed out my driving problems during each class and then I would practice hard to overcome the problems before next class. I passed my road test 2 weeks later from my first class and already get my driver license. I have rented a car in ABQ and can drive to anywhere that I am interest in now. Have recommend Coach Al’s driving school and Coach Eddie to my colleagues and some of them really interest in and will contact you soon. Again, thank you Eddie for all of your instructions, encouragements and patience :)

I was a student at Coach Al's Driving School to get my permit and learn the rules of the road and how be a safe defensive driver. Coach Al Guadagnoli and Coach Eddie Torres did just that. They explained it all in crystal clear detail and made it fun to learn it and not just another rule to follow. They showed me how to parallel park, park drivers side and passenger side and also the pivot points of a vehicle. They even also showed me driving isnt that scary and that anyone can be a defensive safe driver no matter who you are. Also I was showed the real life fact of what DWI does to the community. It doesn't just hurt you it hurts everyone and may hurt your loved one. I highly recommend Coach Al's Driving School for all who want to learn safe driving and how to be a better driver. He even goes the extra mile to help his kids even outside the classroom. The price is so affordable and you get world class service too. His wife Kay the office administrative assistant is truly amazing and does so much to support the community of new drivers and clients. Cynthia from the Traffic Safety Division was also really friendly and cool she worked well with me and showed me fun ways to remember the rules of the road. In the 2nd Unser building, up stairs and all the way in the back lies the hidden gem of the entire complex. Coach Al's Driving School is not at all what I expected but is still amazing. Each teacher puts real effort into their roles at the school and each one will recognize way after you've completed the school. They become more than just instructors, they are mentors in a way. Their curriculum is like no other and squeezes all the drive time you are able to give out of you. I recommend Coach Al's to all of my friends and when they don't go I say wipe yourself off man, because you are wrong.

Can't thank Coach Al enough. My daughter finished Coach Al's class about 5 months ago and I just didn't feel like she was comfortable behind the wheel. I called up Coach Al and got more driving time for her, I even tagged along. She was a completely different driver with him. If you are a parent like me, the idea of sitting in the passenger seat while your offspring takes a several ton vehicle on the road with other drivers who are taking selfies, texting and what ever else when they should be driving, is daunting and panic inducing, then I recommend calling Coach Al's Driving School to schedule your child immediately. We worked with Coach Eddie, who by the way, is a police officer. Needless to say, he has nerves of steel. We purchased the 7 hour private lesson package and every penny was worth it because my son is a confident driver who understands his responsibility when commandeering the wheel of a vehicle. On the first day, Coach Eddie told us we'd miss them when class ended. Honestly, I didn't believe him one bit but I can assure you, he's right. I just finished their 2 week course at the Unser location and I'm much more comfortable being behind the wheel. My parents noticed improvement in my driving with every lesson. By day 4, we were out driving on busy highways. I got into the car feeling anxious and not knowing where anything was but Coach James and Coach Manuel assured me I'd get the hang of it, they explained everything I needed to do calmly and told me what I needed to work on. Class time was also fun, Ms. Cindy was very sweet and answered every question I had. Her stories made the hours go by fast and I learned a lot from her. You will definitely be forced out of your comfort zone but I promise, it'll be worth it. The staff work with you and your schedule to make sure you get the most driving time you can including being picked up or dropped off at home/school. The instructors here are amazing at what they do, they made these 2 weeks a blast. P.S. Coach Eddie is the awesomest

I enjoyed this particular class because it's unlike the rest, Coach Al and his partner Eddie are very passionate about what they do and I got very attached to them and everyone I took the course with. One of the Best driving schools ever. All of the coaches really care and try to help you to the best of their abilities. Before i went to this school, I had only driven a couple of times and didn't really know a whole lot about driving. I made great friends and i learned in a entertaining yet affective way. Before starting at Coach Al's Driving School, I told my friends that I would be starting to take drivers ed. Everyone kept telling me that they dreaded drivers ed, and after a while I thought that I might experience the same thing. That is definitely not what happened. Al, Eddie, and Cynthia are fantastic instructors. I'm so glad to learn from them! They know how to handle a large class full of teenagers. Each one of them have the ability to make us laugh, get us to pay attention when we aren't, and most of all teach us everything we need to know about the roads and the privilege of driving. Al and Eddie also work with the students outside of class. They pick up students from their schools and teach them to drive once the students have their permit, which helps tremendously. They teach students how to drive and park correctly, including tricks about driving. In conclusion, I'm glad to have attended this class. I had a great time and I learned so much from the best driving instructors around.

I am late life adult learner, upon retiring to Albuquerque from the eastcoast, I quickly realized how having a driver’s license would be much more convenient than being dependent upon the public transit system. Parents, if you are having troubles deciding which Driving School to have your child attend, may I suggest Coach Al's Driving School. My daughter started with another well known driving school last year. (July 2018) The class portion was fine, but my daughter was never able to get schedule for her driving time, 7 hours of hands on driving instruction with an instructor. Once the driving schools students when back to school so did their instructors. After seven months and only promises of getting my daughter her required driving time, I decided to go to Coach Al's. Coach Al's driving instructor Gary Tafoya, picked up my daughter at her school to start her driving lessons and would end them each time at our home. No dropping off or picking up at the school, which made it so nice for us. Eddie Torres, the schools class instructor direct me on how to get my daughters paperwork transfer from previous school to them, so they could complete the certification and the final driving test for my daughter. Great company for any parent with teens. Highly recommend them. Thank you

I enrolled my son at Coach Al’s for the 7 hour one on one driving lessons. My son had a horrible experience at Old School of Driving in Rio Rancho, so I cancelled with them after only 3 hours of “lessons”. My son (Noah C.) had nothing but great things to say about his instructor, Manuel. Manuel really helped to boost my son’s confidence (unlike the other school). He also answered all of my son’s questions and made him feel at ease. Thank you!!

Great School all around. The teachers actually go over everything and give you hands on experience in real traffic. You get to learn with a hilarious group of instructors and actually learn with them, rather than just watch videos like other schools. I highly recommend this school to anyone who needs to learn to drive.

Unlike other schools, this one gets right to teaching you, I mean sure I blacked out day one, but I learned everything quickly and the coaches explained everything clearly. They have a very nice hands on approach with their students and can even do some one on one driving time so everyone can get in their hours. Would recommend them without hesitation.

Coach Al’s driving school is a place I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn how to drive. The coaches know how to take you out of your comfort zone when driving. Not only did we sit in class we got to learn how to parallel park, also they took us out on the interstate. The coach are great. Coach Al has a good sense of humor and Coach Eddie can make you laugh.

Going to Coach Al’s Driving School was one of the best choices of my life! I met some interesting and funny people! The instructors (Coach Eddie being my personal favorite) always tried to lighten the anxiety of driving by talking us through each thing we learned! They also had their own personal experiences which made the class more realistic and it was easy to connect with certain aspects! We drove all over the city. We were picked up at our school on days that we drove. We drove nearly an hour on those days and we got to pick the place we wanted to eat. The coaches actually cared about giving us the skills, confidence and information required to drive safely and defensively. We also went to the parking lot and did forwards and backwards parking and parallel parking. Even in the classroom (the parts that are thought of to be the most boring) the coaches made it as fun and interesting as they could. Overall, it was one of the most enjoyable three weeks of my life.

Can't say enough good things about this school! Up until now, at the age of 22 I just put off getting my license, even though I'm a huge car enthusiast! With the help of my parents I enrolled in this program! Coach Al, Coach Eddie, and Ms. Cindy are amazing teachers and amazing people! They know how to engage towards younger people, and all other ages! There is ZERO stress in this corse! If you want to be there, and you want to learn you will pass with ease! By the first week of the school you are out driving! You are NOT just another "batch" of students. They truly care about YOU, and your well being as well as your life and how things are going for you as a individual! They will pick you up from school, and have you drive! If you have other places you need to be you will drive your self there after, as hours counted towards your permit/license. There is absolutely ZERO hidden charges to this class unlike other driving schools, what you pay as listed will be set, as long as you attend the 3 weeks required! These people are professionals! Coach Eddie is a police officer, and coach Al teaches CDL and other professional grade driving! Always heard parallel parking is hard? Pfft, 2ed day of that was CAKE! Every thing you need to become a safe, responsible, knowledgeable driver you will learn in the 3 weeks of classes. Mistakes when driving on the road with the instructors (which are next to none because of how well you get taught) will not result in yelling or panic; they calmly correct you with a light hearted joke and you continue on your way! Please go to this school! I had a blast, and learned a lot! Truly an amazing experience and beyond amazing teachers! As much as I'm glad that I finally have my license, I can't lie and say I'm a little sad it ended so quick! P.S. I was so impressed with Coach Al and his instructors. I sent my older child to another well known driving school in Albuquerque a couple of years ago and it was such a hassle trying to get in his driving hours and they charged extra for every test. Coach Al's school was amazing. They made sure to get all the kids their driving hours, going so far as picking them up from school and bringing them home after class. Their prices are excellent, significantly lower than other schools, and include all the testing. I highly recommend taking your child here, they made it so convenient and easy!

My boyfriends tried to teach me how to drive and that didnt go well so i went here and coach eddie was very Knowledgeable and taught me how to drive in just 2 classes, he helped me not be so nervous behind the wheel. He taught me the proper ways of the road and did it in so little time! I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Theyre very affordable and arent out to look for a quick buck.
