I could not be more pleased with our experiance at Chamisa!! My little sister was absolutely devastated after her experience at one of the supposed "best and largest" driving schools in albuquerque. When we found Chamisa we were nervous and skeptical of the service we would recieve. We were blown away by the care we recieved here!! Melissa administered both the driving and written motor vehicle test for my sister and her passion for what she does was evident from the get go!! After explaining that she is a former educator it made sense as to why she was able to put an anxiety ridden teen at complete ease!! Not only was this experience amazingly thorough, completely personable, and absolutely educational.... but it was also half the price of the original place we went to!! I would absolutely recommend Chamisa to anyone who wants a quality driving education and not a run of the mill... let me take your $600 but only give you a cookie cutter watered down driving course! Thank you Chamisa!!

What a difference! My oldest son attended Old School of Driving. My youngest just finished up with Chamisa. NO comparison. It is obvious that the teachers at Chamisa are professional educators. Although they don't have regular day hours (they all teach at schools in ABQ), my phone calls have always been returned in a timely manner. They are flexible and understand the craziness of student schedules. Melissa shared with me that they tend to reserve Sundays as their day off for their own families and I respect that! I also learned that if any driving school has a class that is 2 weeks or less, it's illegal. Report it to the state (Old School). She took her time with me on the phone and answered all of my questions about the Real ID changes.

Melissa is awesome! She got me in right away for a test drive and when I told her I needed to take the written test at the mvd, she was more then glad to have me take it there so I wouldn’t have to wait hours & deal w./ the stress and anxiety of doing it at the mvd. Definitely recommend!

My daughter learned to drive here. The instructors are knowledgeable and are all professional educators. The school was awesome for the price and offered her ample time behind the wheel! I highly recommend it!

Melissa is amazing. She helps all of the youth no matter what their circumstances. The youth are taught great driving skills and critical thinking processes. The staff are considerate of the youth and allow time for make-up when necessary. They are a great program that help all youth succeed on the road. Also, they are educators. I am a Case Manager and we fund this program for our youth frequently due to their effectiveness in teaching appropriate driving skills and great customer service. The people that reviewed them low can't even spell and do not realize the arguments they have are grammatically incorrect and/or a personal issue. They are great!! Go here!!!!

My son did the MVD exam with Chamisa after taking a home-based driver education course with White Knuckles Institute. The professionalism was amazing and the owner was able to schedule us immediately. I would highly recommend this business for their professionalism, knowledge, and courteousness to my busy schedule.

one of the driving expecters doesnt even teach you to drive he just sits there and expects you to drive and gets extremely mad and is impatient and the other expecter is really nice and patient
