Here's some advise when you come here, always ask for the driving instructor Maria she is the absolute best. She teaches you everything you need to know for the road especially the parking portion. It took me the three days of the course to get used to how things are on the road. One more thing of you ever need a car to go and take the road test to get your license ask for her you will not regret it. I can guarantee if you ask for her, you will pass the first time like I did. So always ask for Maria when you come to this driving school.

Awhile ago, I decided to do a refresher course before my road test. I was lucky enough to have Eddie as my instructor, and I could not be more thankful for that. Eddie taught me everything I needed to know before my road test and eased any qualms I had about it. Thank you so much Eddie for making my driving experience amazing. Where do I start lol this school made a miracle happen for me today 03/06/19 I passed my road test with no prior experience to driving and no practice other than with the school my instructors that I recommend are Eddie and Marie they are very straight forward and you can tell they really want you to pass and they taught me to drive and past my road test without ever driving a day in my life they made me feel very relaxed and comfortable behind the wheel they taught me how to drive safely and obey signals and always made me correct my mistakes until I got it right . my permit was about to expire and I had to cram all the lessons in a short time frame and universal got the job done and helped through this life changing experience to pass my test on the first try the staff is also great they are always on time polite and work with you to fit your needs thanks again universal driving school. Love love love this place. Maria was my first driving instructor and was very helpful. She noticed that I was very nervous and calmed me down and told me not to worry. She even showed me pictures of her daughter’s gender reveal party. My last instructor for my last two lessons was Gloria, I think? I forgot her name. But she was amazing too!! Helped me out so much and helped me park. Honestly would recommend to anyone! I took my lessons last summer and hopefully I get my license this summer! Edit: I took my drivers test today and passed :)))))))

Extremely great school. I passed my road test on the first try! The instructors are patient, calm, and truly make you feel comfortable behind the wheel. I did my six hours in two sessions and even though it was long, I enjoyed every minute of it. There were no complaints my whole time with Universal. They are the best option financially and in terms of teaching you how to drive!

Gina is the best instructor I’ve had .. She helped me a lot I took my road test today and passed because of her , she helped me for a month I never drove before except 1 time , I was really nervous but Gina helped me believe that I would pass , she was patient with me & after while I started getting better & better .. This past Wednesday, I went to the Wayne MVC for my road test. Even though I had 3 separate driving lessons to prepare for it, I was still really nervous, but my instructor, Gina, was confident that I would pass with flying colors. She understood how anxious I was and she was very patient with me. We spent a lot of time practicing parallel parking and 3-point turns because she knew those were the 2 most difficult parts of the road test. I could tell that Gina was deeply invested in helping me get my license. She never gave up on me, even when I was doubting myself. I never would've passed, especially not on the first try, without her help. Gina is a total sweetheart and will treat you as if you were her own child. I also briefly met Maria and she was very nice too. Overall, I highly recommend Universal Driving School and their instructors.

Leo and Maria were very very helpful in teaching me the step by step process from left turn, right turn, parallel, k turn and all. And I learned a lot from them. Had such a great experience! I never really write reviews but I ran to write this one. I took my road test yesterday and I passed! Joshua took me to my test site and he was amazing now only did he arrive early to pick me, but he made sure I had all my paperwork and prepped me on the test. The greatest contributing factor to its excellence is its driving instructors, who are patient, friendly, and skilled at all aspects of driving. I recommend Hector (a.k.a. Eddie) as an instructor. He taught me the essential driving techniques by telling me to practice them over and over again in empty roads, parking lots, and other areas until I understood them completely (e.g. Parallel Parking, K-Turn, U-Turn, Reverse, repeat). Because of his and the Universal Driving School's rigorous, yet enjoyable, driving curriculum, I passed my road test on my first try!

I like to say that I highly recommend Universal Driving School LLC. The instructors are courteous, they're patient, they're great at giving directions. The first thing I want to say, Universal Driving School they were excellent. We had Maria that was the instructors name. She was awesome has so much patience. She makes you feel so comfortable behind the wheel and she's always telling you things what to do and not to do I felt so comfortable with her. Plus you can't beat the price the school had the best price. They were always on time they text me the night before let me know what time they were coming I thought that was pretty cool. The company was very professional. After I get done with Maria I had so much confident and was so excited that's why I gave the school a 5 star rating and I gave Maria a 5-star rating. I called all the driving school someone not professional somewhere over priced. So I did my homework and this was the best school out there. I have to say all the instructors in this school are good. But I have Maria and I was so happy. So if you like me nervous and scared. I would ask for Maria. So you know the price was $65 a lesson. And I took their car to DMV to get my license. And yes I got my license.

I took my 79 year old dad to get a road test but didnt have a car with am emergency brake in the middle. I called Universal and they came and picked him up within minutes! Maria was the nicest, sweetest lady ever! She practiced with my dad before the test and he passed! Maria was exactly the teacher I needed to take my road test after trying before when I was younger but never getting this far. I can get nervous when I feel like there's pressure on me, but Maria gave me constant gentle feedback and correction without ever making me feel stressed. If I did something wrong she wouldn't get angry, but would explain exactly what the problem was and how to do it the right way, and we'd repeat the process until I got the hang of it. After some quality, focused lessons she took me to the road test and I passed with perfect scores on the first try! I am totally satisfied and recommend this service to anybody like me who just needed that extra push.

I must say this is by far the best driving school in north jersey . I passed my road test today and this was my first try thanks the amazing instructors. I am beyond grateful! The instructors are so kind and knowledgeable and won't let you rest till they're sure you know what your doing . I had Eddie and Leo and they are very patient professional and kind. They will pick you up and drop you off, very accommodating. They will even practice with you for one or two hours before your road test to make sure you pass. I was a 31 year old learning how to drive for the first time. A life long New Yorker, I had never bothered! But when my husband got sick and couldn't drive easily anymore, it became a necessity. I called 7 driving schools for price quotes and details before settling on Universal. They were the best priced, had great reviews and were professional and friendly on the phone when I called. They did not disappoint in person. Since we only had a manual transmission vehicle at home, I did all my practicing with Universal. The door to door service was great and they really get you comfortable behind the wheel during your 2 hour lessons. While all the instructors were wonderful, Maria was my favorite. She gave me my first and last lesson and drove me to my road test. In all, I took 8 lessons with Universal over 3 months and passed my road test on the first try. Thank you Maria and Universal. This licence was more important than most and you didn't let me fail.

I highly recommend Universal Driving School. I initially was taking classes from another school and after a few issues decided to call Universal and am so glad I did. It was two weeks before my road test and I was a nervous wreck. Joshua, who answered the phone was awesome, friendly, and helpful. Kevin is AMAZING and THE MAN!!! He gave me the confidence I lacked from the previous school. He was patient, put me at ease, and taught me how to k-turn and parallel park like a pro! I was happy to have taken two classes with him. Since it was a short time until my road test I also drove with Eliziar who also gave me great tips and has a calm demeanor that is so helpful. For my road test I went with Gina who was fabulous, an hour before my test she gave me other pointers which were extremely helpful. I passed my road test on my first try and I know it is because of the fantabulous instructors at Universal! (Side note: I am a late bloomer and in my late thirties and never thought I would have ever gotten my license.)

Based on the reviews, I chose to go to Universal driving school. I was introduced to Gina, who was my instructor for my 4 lessons and was the one who took me to the road test area. She was very patient with me, giving me positive and negative feedback that helped me learn how to be a safe driver. The team at the office is very accommodating, in terms of scheduling, if you give them enough notice. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family who live nearby.

Great and professional driving school! Maria was my instructor and she is simply the best. She is excellent, patient and definitely knows how to teach. I enjoyed our lessons and was always looking forward to practicing with her. I passed my driving test on the first try, however, I will miss our lessons. I truly enjoy driving. Besides being professional, Maria is a great human being. You will forget about stress and nerves with her and pass your test. Had such a great experience. I took my road test few days ago and i passed on the first try. I enrolled into the 8 hours (4-2hrs lessons) and my instructor(Maria) was superb. She is very patient, calm, and sweet and takes the time to explain the little details that you would need to know to ace the test. She gave me a session before the road test and took me to my road test at the DMV. I'm a much improved driver because of her. I would absolutely recommend Universal Driving School and my instructor Maria.
