Andy is a great guy and taught very well !!

Aside from driving skills, Andy will teach you life skills as well, he’s a great mentor. One thing I will say, if you can’t take constructive criticism than city wide isn’t for you.. The way he conducts himself around his students makes them better drivers and better listeners. He shapes you for the best! - Karlos Patacos ;) (failed 5 times don’t remind me)

Honestly Andy taught me life-long good and safe driving habits. Taking this course will be the best decision you could make for a young driver. - - & bro if you disagree, you probably were a bad student in class !

Amazing. Andy’s the man and I’ve learned so much from this guy!!!

Andy’s a really good guy, he went out of his way on multiple occasions to accommodate me in terms of scheduling due to misfortunes throughout my time enrolled. His constructive criticism as well as his knowledge of driving and driving mannerisms (good and bad) helped in not only making me a better driver but helped my confidence behind the wheel. He’s a great mentor and definitely somebody who I can say I had a pleasure spending time with throughout my lessons. I 100% recommend City-Wide Driving School.

Andy is an amazing guy with a great sense of humor, his teaching in the class is easy to follow and gave me valuable lessons, while driving he answered many questions and was helpful to keep me and others safe. Probably the only teacher I can consider a friend and an educator. Great job Andy!

Worst driving place EVER! He made racist and sexist jokes while driving with me. When I was dealing with problems at home he made fun of me getting kicked out and said im incapable of driving. I can't even tell you how many times hes called me stupid in front of others and when driving solo. He read my quiz answers outloud and had others laugh at me for getting it incorrect. He would instigate others to trash talk my driving and work. His class made me very uncomfortable as well as anytime I've seen him. I passed drivers ed 6 months later because I didn't get enough hours with him. Andy shouldn't be teaching drivers ed or have any job with kids. Hes extremely inappropriate and even forced me to write him a good review telling me word for word of what to say. Dont waste your time or money here.

Andy! Thank you so much for being so understanding and good for scheduling! The class was always pretty fun and I'm so glad you were able to squeeze me into the class! Thanks for helping me learn how to be defensive and deal with the crazy people! :)

This was one of the worst experiences I've had. He always made me feel uncomfortable and made awkward jokes. When driving, he will ALWAYS blame your mistakes on you "being tired," even if you are wide awake. He will ruin your confidence in driving too. I still remember little things from my drives with him that make me question my driving ability. Of course, the day after I finished the course with him, I took my drivers test and passed with flying colors. If you ask him a question, he gets annoyed and doesn't give you a straight answer. He also hates when students call him to double check things like if class is cancelled or not (I made this mistake). Even asking a question in general while driving gets him in a bad mood. He also pits the students against each other. He asked me about how bad this other girl was and told me how others talked bad about my driving (This really ruined my confidence even though I thought I was a careful driver). The thing that made my mother livid was when he called me "psycho." I tried so hard to be polite and not get on his bad side, but it was never enough. I make sure I tell everyone I know that's looking for a driving school to stay away from City Wide Driving

Firstly, a disclaimer. I'm not a personal friend of Andy's nor have I had any social interaction with him outside of Driver's Ed. Two of my sons have satisfactorily completed driver's ed with Citywide in the past two years, the most recent graduation happening this past week. Having read the very negative reviews, I questioned both of my boys extensively on their experiences with Andy. I was deeply concerned as any parent would be. The boys had no complaints and found their experiences with Citywide to be nothing short of excellent. There were no indications of disrespect, lewdness or inappropriateness. I could easily gauge the improvements in their driving skills as I completed my 40 hours of instruction in parallel with Citywide, and their knowledge of the rules of the road. Both boys exited the written portion of their licensing exam, (40 minutes allowed, 80% passing grade), in less than 15 minutes. This speaks to the effectiveness of Citywide's classroom instruction. Andy was always accommodating for pickup and drop-off during driving lessons. He was punctual at both sides of the lesson and always willing to modify the schedule if a conflict arose. I have nothing but praise for Andy and his school and I have no problem with a strong recommendation for Citywide.

I called in April hopeful to sign son up for May class. He called back a week after and said class was full. He indicated that he was placed on the July class reserve list but to call back before the end of May to to confirm. I've called back 3 times in the matter of 16 days and finally after leaving a not so nice message he called me back. He said the July class is BOOKED and he would place my sons name on a reserve list ( thought he did that) for October/ November. Obviously I said NO THANKS. If you ask me this is ALL bad business. Had I read the testimonials from students prior, I would have NEVER CALLLED ..

In this class I learned a lot of things that will stick with me through my whole life. I learned how to turn properly, how to look ahead, how to stop properly and many more amazing things. Andy taught me how to drive safely and how to have my patience on the road. This was a really good choice that I made, to be completely honest if I could give him 10 stars I DEFINITELY would!! For the parents who want their kids to be a great driver, they should have them take this class!!

Please just don't. Andy not only runs a boring class, he makes inconsiderate and unfunny jokes that make me want to jump out of the window at the opposite side of the classroom. If he sees your phone, even on your desk, he takes it until the end of class. Every time I go driving with him, it's the worst thing in the world- what I can only describe as a combination of ego and beating his students down. His jokes have been about anything from Jews to asking where the hot girls are. It's not a comfortable experience, and makes everyone feel awkward. Whenever he tries to schedule you to drive, he won't listen to you. I told him 5 times I couldn't drive at a certain period because I had school and each time he asked if I could get out early. I kept telling him no. It makes me nervous to go to his class. Even if this is the last option, take a different class.
