We have the reviews of people like you who are using the services of Metro Driving School (Driving School) in the state of Massachusetts.
At this moment the firm has a rating of 3.2 stars out of 5 and the rating has been based on 39 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is discreet, neither too high nor too low, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the valuation is very credible. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to place tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Driving School belongs to the category of Driving school.
I contacted them since I needed a sponsor for the road test. They offered a lesson before the test. Freddy was extremely good and the lady who took us to the RMV was very helpful and helped me pass the test.
From my experience this is a Great place! The staff is Respectful and I never had a bad experience with them. Just know when you go there's a deposit!!! I had to pay 55 dollars that was the only thing that surprised me because it wasn't mentioned but whatever, Nothing is free. People just need to make sure they listen carefully to their rules! If you make an appointment and you want to cancel it MAKE SURE YOU CALL 36 HOURS BEFORE! Not 24. And if you made the appointment the day before just make sure you GO because evidently it's not a 36 hour notice and you will have to pay like 15 dollars for a cancelled appointment! And also keep in mind 15 is ONLY FOR ONE LESSON CANCELLED . If you cancelled for a 1.5 hour lesson you have to pay 30 dollars PLUS the money you take for you next lesson! So to save your money don't cancel. Take your time and listen what their teaching you!
Good
(Translated by Google) All the employees are very kind, the classes on time, freddy (one of the instructors) is very patient, it helps you to relax the nerves ... And with only 2 classes I passed the driving test .. and the best, with a reasonable price .. I recommend them!
I would urge on the side of caution if you are planning to attend this driving school. They make you pay in cash and pull numbers off thin air when asking for a payment. Be careful or you will end up paying lot more than you planned for.
They are good , I don't understand why people have bad luck
The worst driving school. Staff have horrible attitude and treats customers like trash. They have no organization. You basically go into situations confused
Not sure why people have a bad experience at this place. I loved the instructor his name is Freddy and he’s very patient and nice. I’ve never drove before and I’ve learned to drive and had so much confidence after just 2 classes. The price is very cheap compared to other places.
These people are scam artists I spent 2 months in the school and they failed me 2 times on the road test they suck I guarantee if I were Chinese they'd give me my license and it's like they don't care
usually i don't even bother leaving reviews for anything but wow. I called twice trying to schedule a driving lesson and asked "do you speak english" then they hung up on me immediately. Didnt even say "no sorry" just hung up. rude asf. id give them negative stars if i could
People there are patient and nice. I asked them to schedule a roar test for me and two weeks later I got my permit switched to driver license!!!!! This is awesome!
I was happy with the classes I took and my instructor. But on my road test day, they told me to arrive at Ashmont Station at 5.20pm while the school's car came to pick me up on 6.50pm. I waited for 90 mins and they didn't have any explanation nor apology. Very bad experience.
Applying to this school was a gamble for me because before i did i read alot of negative reviews on it. But i payed for the JOL program and dedicated myself to doing all my requirement license hours. I am 17 and I completed the program and applied to do my road test.I passed and received my license before I turned 18. Im really glad i chose to attend this school.
Very bad service and attitude! Saturday morning they only the door until 9:17am. And the woman is very cold and indifferent. I said I didn't reserve, just pass by and want to check if I can practice today! However, because I signed the road test by myself, not by them. She said we don't accept you because you signed by yourself. I don't know it's true or she just use one excuse to aginst me. It's bullshit since their website did said they can do driving practice either we signed the test by ourselves or through them! Just want to say, it's really a bad attitude! I feel shameful if she is a Chinese
HOrrible experience. The people running this driving schools are like mafia. They charge you 100 dollars for a road test, which is typically 35. They claim they have connections with the testing officers. But in fact, it is an entire hoax. Don't ever go there again. They were cheating, dishonest and terrible at teaching.
Not allow service for deaf people driving
Wayne is definitely the worst you should avoid. He's bad not because he's not an experienced driver. He is an excellent driver, however, he kept talking the whole ride and distracted me and shame me for not knowing anything. Well, if I know everything why would I come to school the first place? He knows how to make student feel discouraged and speaking lots of inappropriate things I don't wanna know. If you get along and learn well from him. Good for you, but he's definitely not someone that I will recommend.
Watched somebody in a Boston metro driving school car take the 2+ HOV lane at 830 am alone, against the law, and then proceed to drive into the i-93 tunnel talking on her phone and steering with one hand, cut two people off and the drove slowly to South station. Seems like a great school if you want to learn how to be an awful driver.
Bottom line: avoid this place by all means; otherwise, be prepared to fight them. - Arbitrarily cancelled scheduled road tests without notice; only to be notified on site. Some other people got phone calls out of blue to come to take road tests WITHIN AN HOUR while it was pouring outside, yet their road test was originally scheduled for the next day. - Penalized/price-gouged students for no-show at driving classes when they themselves couldn't honor the agreed schedule. - Even the coach mentioned that their office is a hodgepodge at best.
Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Excellent, punctual instructors. Very reasonable pricing. Ask for Freddy - he's the man!
I’m honestly pissed with these ppl. I paid them 125 2x for my road test and they do not cover the rmv fee for only $35. Makes no sense for them to charge 125 for a 15 min road test and do not cover the $35. So when I go to the rmv I owe this money they should’ve paid smh
I went to this place as it seems cheaper and in downtown area. After I joined the driving class, I found everything strange. First of all, I need to call front desk to make an appointment for the class (which is normal), but the lady in the front desk doesn't know how to deal with customers, broken English really hard to understand, very raspy sound. Second it took the lady forever to schedule a road test or a class which I think is ridiculous. Customer service is horrible. Think twice before calling/going to this place.
Good experience at this driving school! I took lessons in Malden where is very close to my home. My teacher Peter is an excellent trainer. Peter is very patient and always points to my mistakes. After several super effecient lessons, I got good driving skills as well as good driving habit.
We took a class with Freddy and it was very good! Freddy is a great teacher and he was very knowledgeable and supportive, we do recommend Freddy as an instructor! But, please, be sure you go to RMV right after the exam and replace the permit with the “pass” sign with the temporary license!!! Do not leave without replacing your permit after the exam!
do not use there services unless you want everyone to know your information. they do not use company phones
I had one class with them few days before my road test exam in Boston. They are very friendly and they scheduled my test on time. The road test was smooth and the guy who came from the school explains us the important parts of the exam right before the exam. I'm totaly satisfied with their service.
Only suggest is DO NOT GO. There is another driving school far better than Metro in the same building. Metro asks for more money and provides worse service.
Very good place to learn driving and to apply for drivers test. Roger was my instructor and, he taught me the right steps to a parallel park and to do the 3 point turn. Reasonable price, good instructors and they manage to get you a driving test ASAP
The staff is nice, respectful, and work with sincerity. I had my mock exam with Frank who was very knowledgeable about the exam at the specific location I was assigned. June sponsored me during the exam and drove me to and back from the location. Throughout the ride, she was very encouraging and was supportive. I highly recommend anyone, experienced or not, in the Boston area to give these guys a shot!
I understand that experience may vary - my very own is definitely positive, although I only hired a sponsor&car for the road test. Even though I opted only for the basic package, the instructor drove with me around the blocks and gave tips for the exam itself. They also had good advice and knew all the important tricks - which DMV to choose, what time to come, etc. While they may have not been best in terms.of communication, I think they did really well at what mattered most - making sure.that my exam chances are increased.
DO NOT GO WORSE SCHOOL FOR DRIVING EVER CANCEL YOUR ROAD TEST W/O NOTICE CHANGE YOUR ROAD TEST TO ANOTHER DAY WHICH YOU SAID COULDN'T MAKE IT I read the review but still decided to go to this school, thought things might be a little different. But the fact is - all descriptors who gave 1 star truly described their service.
I've never had a bad experience with this driving school. Although I was only practicing, Roger was really patient and was very understanding when it came down to answering my questions. He made me feel comfortable.
Excellent customer service. Staff who does the road test preparation is so nice, friendly and well experienced who gives very useful tips for driving test.
