Have purchased 2 Ford rear ends from this firm over the past 3 years. Both experiences and results have been excellent. The staff are proficient in Ford applications, honest in their recommendations and sales practice. Pricing was fair; shipping was fast, all the way to the East Coast. I am very pleased with both products and would endorse this company anytime.

Won't pull a parts within an hour of closing, or before they are paid. Told me the parts would be pulled when I got there first thing in the morning over the phone then told me they won't pull unless paid and couldn't tell me how long it would take to pull them if I paid right then and there. Got aggressive and combative with me, and cursed me out the door as I left.

They are an absolute nightmare to work with. NEVER consider using them, or their substandard parts. God forbid you get the wrong part, they will not allow any sort of credit, return, even at half the rate of return/credit. Do yourself a favor and use pick n pull or LKQ, be forewarned.

6 months or so ago I went and bought all kinds of parts including EVERYTHING to swap my car from an Auto to Manual. They said everything was tested and in great shape. Finally got around to doing it all and almost everything has problems... transmission has bad reverse synchro, Aluminum Drive Shaft has bad U-joints and vibrates too, Cobra Brake kit missing parts, K&N Cai is missing parts, X-Pipe has bad O2 sensors on it, Etc.....

If I could put negative stars I would. The cost of a tow was absolutely ridiculous. We couldn't get my daughter's property until we paid in CASH. They claimed they only take cards at Midwest Mustang not Midwest Tow. They charged us for 14 miles at $4.00 a mile. HyVee is not 14 miles away. Her car was there for 12 hours and she received two days of storage fees. We received fees for clean up. Well, I suggest you go back to the scene and clean up the glass and debris left behind. We had no choice in the tow company. NEVER use this tow company. Extortion.

Very unfriendly and unhelpful... Attempted to extort $200 and my title from me just to retrieve my personal property from my vehicle they towed away... Even one star is too much for this scummy business.

Great place to go if you want to pay for not having your car fixed. Owner didn't seem surprised to see me at all when I went back in to tell him my problem persisted after paying him hundreds of dollars. His solution was for me to keep paying him to guess and fix things that aren't broken. Challenged me to find a mechanic who could diagnose and fix the problem (lol you know, a mechanic's JOB). He was also very condescending. I guess I should have read all these other reviews earlier.

I tinker with cars (lots of them) all the time, and visit ALL the area (KC included) salvage yards. Midwest Mustang is my favorite to go to. They are always very fair, friendly, and helpful. Personal service, with great advice. They answer questions, and know what they are talking about. They try to help you solve your problems, not just make a buck. Try getting that at the other salvage yards.

This was quite possibly the worst experience anyone could ever have with a mechanic. They do a really poor job and when I picked my car up it was grinding and broke down in an hour time. The owner is VERY unkind and was very rude and disrespectful. They don't do the work properly, using lay around parts.. I'm now out $700+ dollars. The owner yelled at me and treated me like garbage after he got my money and never fixed the car right. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I'M ABSOLUTELY DISGUTED BY THIS COMPANY!!

Parts don't fit, and they tell me "2 weeks have passed, so we won't take the return. You'll have to resell them yourself." This is not even flea-market quality business.

Midwest Mustang should be avoided if possible. This shop does really poor work imo. I had a new engine swapped into my mustang and had many issues after they took way too long installing it; They forgot to install the correct filters and fluid I left for them in my car It was low 3 quarts of coolant The vacuum lines were hooked up incorrectly, resulting in a massive leak! The air filter, MAF, and throttle body needed major cleaning!!! My engine runs like crap The motor mounts were WAY too loose (which is very dangerous) The clutch wasn't adjusted properly They didn't recharge my A/C correctly and it blows warm air Its missing many bolts and plastic caps They gave me a completely wrong dip stick for the car The serpentine belt was worn out COMPLETELY and in poor condition There was PS fluid ALL over my engine!! I've spent countless hours and WAY too much money immediately after going here to fix everything they did wrong. They charged me way more money then what they quoted me, and the shop is dirty, disorganized, and the workers are rude. $500 in parts and a week later I finally have the car running great, the way it should've been running out of the shop. I do not trust them with my car!
