I first attended classes at New Horizons in 1996 and the experience was great. The classes helped me become more efficient, innovative, and creative in my position as a Human Resources Project Manager. When I made the decision to redirect my career, research led me to realize that in order to compete I needed to brush up on my computer skills, learn some new software, and get some certifications. I immediately thought of New Horizons, gave them a call and enrolled in a program to become a Microsoft Office Specialist and get certifications in PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CC. I've not yet completed all of the classes; however, updating my resume with the certificates for the classes I have completed thus far has increased my visibility and improved the job matches that Recruiters are sending me. Thanks to New Horizons I believe that I am on my way to finding my dream job...soon.

Horrible customer service. They did not process payment correctly on their end contacted me three months later berating me for a payment. General manager is very arrogant. Company is ran like a circus. And classes consist of instructor reading from a book which you can do yourself. Highly encourage you to look elsewhere. Courses are not worth the headaches they put you through and the prices they charge. Scam artist!

My class room experience with Dr. Donnie Helms was very informative. Everything that could possibly be incorporated in a certification test Dr. Helms covered in proficiently and whereas it was easy to grasp. I am very grateful to Ms. Powell, Dr. Helms and the rest of the staff at New Horizons Learning Center. The mid - day chocolate chip cookies was a welcomed touch daily. I'd recommend your Center to anyone that wants to into the IT field.

New Horizons of Atlanta is a GREAT place to learn new computer skills or to build on your existing skills. The instructors are a wealth of knowledge. If you are looking to update your Microsoft Office skills or if your looking to get certified in Microsoft Office, I highly recommend New Horizons of Atlanta! They have a nice office located by Perimeter Mall which includes several classrooms and a testing center. The instructors, account managers and staff are awesome and always so helpful. I have taken a number of classes from New Horizons. However, As I took This particular class "the AWS Sys Ops Admin" class (after) having taken the AWS Solutions Architect class, I believe the class is a waste of time and money. Mainly because this class is about 80% overlap w/ the AWS Solutions Architect associate class. So when you buy these 2 classes, thinking each one will cover primarily the areas they are named after, i.e. Sys Ops, and Solutions Architect, you get disappointed. For example there are lots of topics in Sys Ops that could have been taught instead of using class hours and days on the Solutions Architect topics. That is an absolutely unfair allocation of time as well as funding.

The biggest waste of time and money ever. A few rude staff members. The GM is great but he is in a no win if he is unaware of the remaining cancers from before. Find a better school and program although instructors are great you can't properly educate without any real world instructor led class time.

Working with Allison at New Horizons has been an absolute pleasure! She facilitated us through the entire sign up process for our company coupon pool as well as helped with course registrations. It was easy to sign up and easy to follow along with the instructors that led the classes. We first sought out New Horizons Computer Learning Center for Excel training and found they had much more to offer from the entire suite of Microsoft programs as well as leadership and human resources classes! The classes can be taken online or in person, whichever fit our employees learning styles better. I would highly recommend New Horizons to others

The process went seamless, meeting with Allison Cartwright to figure out how we wanted to organize the classes and the content we wanted presented. I took their Captivate 2017 course. My instructor Ryan was fantastic. Great teacher. Very knowledgeable and patient with new users. Literally nothing was a dumb question. I could not have done my job as well without this training and they did a great job. Cons - There were a few technical issues during the training. People getting kicked out of the session or given inaccurate login information. These were minor mishaps that were resolved in a manner of minutes or seconds. Overall - great program!

Very Accommodating. I have a visual disability and light is an issue for me. They were very accommodating in ensuring I had a space that I can work in that did not effect my vision. Also, the staff was very helpful. Ellie, in particular, who was my POC, ensured that everything was setup for me in advance of my arrival.
