I've always had this fear in the back of my subconscious for the longest time over driving... Not that anything ever happened.. I just never felt very confident in a car. My boyfriend told me about Cantors.. a driving school that he learned to drive with several years back. He told me such wonderful things that I decided to give it a go. The school isn't cheap, for sure... but to me, it was a life long lesson that I will take with me for the rest of my life.. so to me, this was a great investment! I decided to go with AL for 5 lessons. I was told that he was the one who taught all the other instructors, so I knew I was in good hands! On the very first class, as nervous as I was... within the first 15 minutes, AL figured me out and pushed me way out of my comfort zone! If I said I've never done something, we immediately jumped in and overcame the fear of it! The best way to learn is to dive head first in to it, so that's what we always did. He made everything feel so easy and put my anxiety to rest. He was so informative and taught me things that most other drivers I've shared the info with.. didn't even know! I built a wonderful friendship that I will always treasure with AL (and I do miss driving you around). I would highly recommend this driving school... not only to those of you that are unsure of how you feel about being behind the wheel.. but also just to give yourself a huge confident boost while driving. Personally I think everyone should take at least one driving class! Thank you so much for all you taught me, and for helping to bring out the confidence in this girl, that now loves to go for a drive! You're the best! Go Cantors.. Go AL!!

From my first lesson to the test, my experience with Cantor's was really great. Everyone from the office were very friendly and explained everything clearly. I got the Gold package, but before my lessons, I was very nervous behind the wheel and felt like I was always messing up. But my instructor Gennady was very kind, calm, and patient. He put me at ease and instilled confidence in me. It's amazing what you can do in a short amount of time with a great instructor. From my first lesson, I could drive in traffic and on the highway and park easily. And I passed the test on my first try!!! If you want a great learner driving experience, call Cantor's Driving School. And if you live in St. Lucie/Martin/Indian River counties, ask for Gennady. Worth every penny. The stress reduction of doing a road test at a place where the people are happy to help you is a fantastic change from the misery of the DMV. The front of house staff are warm and friendly. They help walk you through the process and are great at fielding your questions and guiding you to the best solution. The instructors are all ex-cops who know the law inside and out. They are focused on empowering you and mitigating the stress of your road test. They give great positive feedback and are honest with you if they think you can handle the road test. Jon, my instructor, waited for me to finish my test and when I came back in he seemed eager for me to give him an update. When I gave him a thumb's up, he looked genuinely happy and excited for me. The road test is way more relaxed than at the DMV too, we had a little light conversation as we did the test which really took the edge off of my stress level. Just not having to wait for hours at the DMV and schedule appointments months in advance make this place worth every penny but the fantastic staff are well worth even more!

Victor helped me to pass my behind the wheel test on my first attempt, I did't practice outside the class so if you have your family or friend to practice with you you will definitely need class from Victor. I am extremely happy with my experience at Cantor's --this is by far the most professional and extraordinary center you will encounter and could enlist for all of your driving instruction needs! I started with Cantor's in Mid-June with a permit, less than 3 hours of driving experience, no "feel" for the brake & gas pedal, and a severe anxiety after causing a fender bender in my friend's car (with my daughter in the back seat)! I am now proud to say that I hold a FL Driver's License and a newfound confidence behind the wheel. Being over 20 years old, I had just about given up hope, but I'm so grateful for the services provided from everyone at Cantor's. Throughout all of my appointment set-ups I had the pleasure to speak with Lauren, she was compassionate, supportive, and offered personable customer service--although I had a difficult schedule, she helped me stay with the same instructor for all of my lessons (A tip that I seriously advocate you follow). My instructor was the underrated JIM NELSON-- He was amazing, patient, and gradually helped me be at ease behind the wheel. I am a completely different person because of him and it's safe to say that Cantor's [and I] are fortunate to have him. THANK YOU CANTOR'S!

Thank you Cantor's!!! I purchased the gold package with the road test and I'm very satisfied with the results. When I first got my permit in Maryland 3.5 years ago, I was very hesitant to drive and I felt like I couldn't focus on the road. I took three two-hour driving classes but was skimped out on at least thirty minutes per lesson with the instructor always coming out late and then coming back early. The driving instructors I had in the past simply had me follow instructions and I didn't really learn anything whereas Mike was an amazing teacher that really helped give me confidence at the wheel. Somehow he was able to make me shake off all my anxiety about driving and truly focus on all the aspects of it. As someone who has attention deficit disorder, I always felt like I could never focus on the speedometer, the road, other cars, signs, and watching out for pedestrians all at the same time.. it made me feel very pessimistic about ever learning to drive, and I never thought I'd be able to actually do it. People would always tell me driving was like second nature to them and I envied how easily others were able to pick it up. I'm honestly amazed at how after just three classes my driving and attention span at the wheel improved significantly. The thing I love the most about Cantor's is that they pick you up right from you home or wherever you need them to. As someone who doesn't have much of a support system in learning to drive, it's hard to find someone willing to take you out to practice and so I did my research and paid for the best reviewed driving school and I want mistaken. The price is difficult for someone who doesn't have much of a budget but let me tell you that it is so worth it. Frank was my test administrator and he was absolutely amazing. He made me feel at ease and as if the test was just me performing regular driving maneuvers instead of an actual exam. He gave me some very helpful tips and I owe the fact that each day I'm getting better at driving to him and Mike. All in all I highly recommend Cantor's driving school, you won't regret it.

Ms. Susan who assisted me with the scheduling of my driving lessons was so pleasant and accommodating and gone the extra mile to make sure I got an earlier date via someone else's cancellation. James was my instructor and he was absolutely fantastic! He was very thorough, patient and personable. What stuck out the most was him teaching me different angles of parking, backing out, passing lanes, and other minor things (i.e. especially the hand-over-hand technique.) I am very late bloomer when it comes to driving and my confidence in driving was not all that high, but now I am way more confident! I will definitely be scheduling my road test at the main location as well!

I did 5 lessons and paid for the road test at the schooI. I was in a rush to finish my driving classes so I choose to use different instructors. That was the biggest mistake I made. Each one had their own style of teaching which is understandable but I didn't benefit from taking the classes. At the end of my 4th class my confidence level was zero. I was doing horrible in driving to the extent one instructor made me feel so sad I came home and cried. Anjie was the best instructor I had out of 4; it's very unfortunate that I didnot had her from the beginning. She is the only reason I am giving this school 4 stars. I eventually went to another driving school and took my driving test at the dmv and passed. Some of the instructors at this school made me feel so horrible I didn't even went back to do the road test here.

Everybody here was very friendly and caring and professional. Worth the money you pay. I just moved to Florida and started driving recently with automatic cars. The instructor was very friendly and helpful. Gave lots of tips and help. just got my license. The other driving schools had some phone customer service giving us the confirmation. They would not even talk about what kind of schedule I would like to have or if my preference would even be considered. But the front desk person at Cantor, Susan, was very friendly and was immediately attentive about what schedule I needed and fixed the schedule for me even before I could pay or confirm. Very caring people. The instructor I had was John and he was very warm and friendly person. Would recommend this school.

He's very casual, so anyone would be able to relax under his instruction while also learning driving skills and helpful knowledge about roads and laws. I HIGHLY recommend Frank Cantor's Stick Shift Driving Lesson. It was the perfect way to learn and prepare for some driving I have to do in Europe. He is very clear and direct with his instructions yet also encouraging. I feel completely prepared to handle a manual car now. He also provides the vehicle, which is rare. I would recommend his lessons to anyone needing to learn manual or automatic driving!
