The room is hot and the class is long and annoying especially if you're eager to get your license but Khan is very nice and very funny. He does his best to make the time pass by as quickly as possible. Cracks endless jokes and is really enjoyable. And the summer specials for college students are amazing!!!!!!!

Good Place to view Learning DVDs. You can get clarified your doubts if you have. But they don't have adequate practice question papers. You've to practice the written test with a team. If one person in that team is slow then you'll loose the questions. You won't get the question papers after 20 mins even you want to cross check your answers. It's bit not good. Also wish Mr. Khan be more polite on Students. Apart from Watching DVD, Drive instructions you don't expect for 115USD.

TL:DR The instructor is a racist hack, I know this is the cheapest place in Stamford, but spend the extra $15 and go to a School where you won't be berated for 8 hours. It is unbelievable that the state sanctions schools of such poor quality. The school location in Stamford is not marked at all on the street and is very hard to find. There is no published curriculum for the course and Mr. Knan, the instructor, seems to pick videos and topics as he sees fit. The instruction itself consists of ancient DVD videos and odd rambling tangents from the instructor. The videos are also not state specific and contain several errors that Mr. Khan has to take time to correct. I personally found it very confusing to be given conflicting information in this format. Mr. Khan was at times belligerent towards the class, and especially towards women. His "lectures" largely consisted of ramblings about issues of politics and morality. For example he spent quite some time explaining that traffic accidents are caused by tardiness and that tardiness is the result of immoral parenting. Furthermore Mr.Khan was often misinformed about important Connecticut traffic laws. For example, he was not aware that it was legal to pass bicycles across double yellow lines. Instead he instructed the class to just wait, a common cause of road rage. Additionally he did not know about the mandatory reporting laws for incidents causing property damage. Even going so far as to relay a personal story of himself breaking said law. When it came time to take the practice test, Mr. Khan did not have enough tests for the whole class. We were grouped, largely by skin color, and told to share. The tests he did have, had writing in them, and often had the answers circled, ruining the practice test. Additionally the tests were full of grammatical and spelling mistakes, disguising the true meaning of certain questions and leaving other ones complete incomprehensible. There were also repeat questions in a test that only had 30 questions on it. As a final insult, there was no air conditioning in the room. With a class of over 20 people, the room quickly became stiflingly hot. I took the class in the beginning of the summer, but August classes must be pure torture. Mr.Khan released the class early when complaints about the heat became too loud. Underlining the fact that there is not curriculum for this class. I can't believe the state made me go through this experience.

I think its one of the best schools in CT. I called other schools and they were rude and dint bother to give any info about driving license process in the state. But this is the perfect place to attend 8 hour class. The instructor knows what hes talking about and answers all the questions in the class. I must say the class is a very interactive one with lot of one-to-one question and answers. I definitely recommend it.

such a terrible experience...called them for an appointment on short notice and although they had space the guy could not have been ruder and essentially told me that he knows I need them and can come on their terms or not at all...I hate entitled businesses like this borne from government regulation that are by extension as unhelpful and rude as the US government themselves...definitely go elsewhere there are plenty of other better companies

I have to say I had the most incredible experience, I was a new driver and not only nervous but physicallly shaking the first time I got around the wheel, my instructor, Khan's wonderful daughter, was awesome!!! absolutely awesome!!! She was patient but knowledgeable, she was incredible!!! ! I really appreciate the convenience of times for the 8-hour safety course for people like me who are only free on weekends. I say two thumbs up!! Alecia B

My little brother said it was horrible and the teacher wasn't aware of current laws the room was deplorable and the curriculum was inadequate

I did the 8 hour classroom course. They are the cheapest, but you can feel this in the service too. Uncomfortable chairs, old tv, hot room with no air... The instructor tried to be nice, but was arrogant instead. They changed the course date two times in the last week before the appointment.

it was a really bad experience. .. the teacher was so rude that's why it was so cheap but doesn't matter because you still get the certificate. .. !!

I'd have to agree with the following reviews about the instructor for the 8 hour drug and alcohol class. He doesn't answer your questions clear and he is obnoxious and arrogant. But this wasn't the issue for me.. after the class i spoke to him about taking driving lessons while mentioning lessons i have at high ridge.. he immediately became jealous and defensive and rejected the schools services to me, he obviously has a personal issue with high ridge driving school as he kept mention this all a "competition" he cares more about that then actually helping someone learn hiw to drive. Dont go here, go somewhere thats more courteous and has your best interest

Please do not waste your time and money here. If I could give it zero stars I would. The instructor, Mr. Khan, was so rude it was unbelievable. After I finished my 8 hours in the most uncomfortable chair I receive my certificate and my name is spelled incorrectly and when I asked him to fix it he yelled at me and called me rude names. Though the prices are low the customer service is terrible! I would not recommend this school at all! You're better off paying more at high ridge at least they treat you with respect.
