Garry Knepler Driving School is of some difficultly for the presentation and paper but they are of not great worry due to the fact it's easy, if he didn't incorporate that then you would just listen to people read and occasionally take notes. But that's just the Drug and Alcohol, and safety class at Stratford High School. The more important part would be the instructors. The teacher you go driving with is well at teaching, it's the least bit hostile environment but more of a relaxed and quiet. The instructor will pick and drop you off almost anywhere with in a reasonable distance. The driving test is not hard, the instructor isn't rude or snappy, you take the test in the school's car so it will be in peak performance. So there is no worry of failing due to the cars ability or appearance. So if i had the option to not take this course is would still take the course. I had a great experiences and many laughter filled moments that i will probably remember forever. I seriously recommend and looking into the program, its worth it.

Howard Knepler (Gary's son) has helped me so much. I did class time with him at my local high school and I then proceeded to take driving lessons with him. When i started, I was an incredibly nervous driver, but Knepler Driving School specializes in nervous drivers and made me feel comfortable while driving. After class time and driving lessons with Knepler Driving School, I feel a lot more comfortable on the road. I am so grateful I took driving lessons with Knepler Driving School!!

This Is by far the best driving school in CT , Maybe even everywhere. Well I started the program a couple of months ago and did my in the class hours and then once I got my permit I did the road hours with the school also. Which was a great idea because I learned a lot more. Now I successfully have my actually license because I also took my license test with them. Thank you Knepler Driving Schools. !!!

Best Driving School Ever...just finished the Summer 2018 program and I can honestly say that I enjoyed every moment. Classes are always fun and Mr. Knepler really knows his subject. The parent program was so much fun. Who knew that driving school was fun? So glad I followed my brothers foot steps and came here.

Absolute scam. Do not send your son or daughter here. Was misinformed on the rules of the road. Essentially they just had me highlight titles in a book. Go somewhere else and get your monies worth.

I recently undertook re-training from Howard Knepler, and I was constantly put in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I recently lost my right leg and had to be trained using my left from Howard. He was accommodating and understanding.

Mr. Knepler was a really great teacher! I've learned so many important things about driving that I never really knew before. He is also really funny and nice, but knows when to be firm when talking about serious topics. I truly believe he is the best instructor.

The drivers Ed classes really prepared me for my permit test which I passed and the 8 hours of driving lessons I recommend, they taught me the driving skills I needed to pass my road test, which was a very simple 20 minute test which practically everyone in the class passed.

I loved it!! the class was verey informative and at a very convient time for those taking through the school year. Everyone was very nice when I went to go schedule my test and I was fully prepared when I took it. I just got my license today!!!!!!

The reason I went for this school was all the 5 star reviews I found. But this place is a total rip off, no value to the high money paid! 1. The secretary Shannon was never helpful. Needed to call 3 times to schedule the class. The reply I got two times was she needed to check the schedule and cannot do it at the moment! 2. They charge $65 per hour which is normal. But when I asked for a pick up and drop off, the rate went up to $95 and hour. All other driving schools we went didn't charge such huge charge for pickup/drop off, even the one very close to this self proclaimed greatest school ever! Only because of all these 5 star reviews we decided to continue even with the highest quote, which ended up as one of the worst decision ever! 3. Due to some mix up in the schedule we needed to avail the pickup/drop off at the last minute. I appreciate Howard was able to make it but for the drop off he said he can drop at the nearest train station which needs a $20 taxi drive to home. Fine! But they were not willing to discount their additional drop off charge $30, which doesn't make sense! Anyway, Howard was able to do the dropoff at our home at the quoted price. 4. We specifically asked for a training to prepare the student for the dmv road test. It was a 2 hour package and we must purchase 2 hour. What ended up happening was that, they asked the student to drive form our home over the high way, which the student wasn't comfortable of. Ended up spending almost an hour driving on the highway, and just 20 minutes out of 120 for preparing for the road test. We specifically asked for the dmv road test preparation package which they assured to drive around the DMV area. I agree the student should be comfortable driving on the highway but why should highway driving be part of DMV road test preparation? I dont know why they deliberately wasted our time driving on the highway instead of providing what we agreed upon. Comparing with similar classes attended, normally the instructor will drive on the highway to save time and the student will drive over the dmv area. Felt like they deliberately wasted our time and money. 5. After driving on the highway, the student lost confidence. But instead of helping to build confidence for the road test which is two days after, Howard gratefully arranged a class next week hinting a failure for the road test. Is this their strategy to kill the confidence for more business? I was lured with all theses positive reviews, but didn't get any value. They say you get what you pay for well, I paid much higher and the value I got is absolutely NOTHING! May be this place is good if you want to take an 8 or 30 hour class, but if you are looking for more exposure for a road test, never go there! They will destroy your confidence so that they can arrange classes for the next DMV exam! As a final note, the student was able to pass the road test perfectly! To bad Knepler, we don't need the class next week!

Great time and great lectures. I am the fourth to come through this school and my parents would have it no other way. I was completely awake during lectures and had a great time participating. My friends fall asleep at their driving schools when they lecture. Overall I would recommend this program to anybody who wants to learn the correct way. I learned so much and had a great time. Driving test is very short literally less than a ten minute drive. Plus the thirty hour class really helps you learn everything you need to know before hitting the rode by covering all the aspects of driving from the parts of the car you should know but most of all the safety.Plus they offer practice driving with an instructor from eight hours all the way up to forty hours in total. Furthermore if you did the 30 hour class sessions and completed all the assignments you get a discount if you want to do practice driving. Just overall a good experience and a great way to make sure you are prepared for life on the road and how to keep your self safe and have all the knowledge of the roads from the laws to advice to make driving easier for you. Such things as how to parallel park and baking into a space tips and strategies.

Today was my 19th birthday and I was scheduled to take my test. The problem was I had to be 18 or younger to take the test at the school. Both Mr. Knepler (Howard), the Driving Inspector Joe Ciotto, and the main man at the DMV HQ helped out to their best ability to let me take my test. The service at this school is impeccable. Amy the accountant made me feel very comfortable while I waited for my test, she told her driving experiences and even cracked some jokes. Karen the secretary is awesome as well, she scheduled my classes the minute I paid and both workers called to remind me of my lessons coming up. Bob my instructor was funny, smart, and very pleasant. I learned how to drive in a matter of 8 hours and I will recommend them to anyone willing to listen. Kepler Driving School made my birthday the best to remember and my license experience great. I cannot tell them how thankful I am for everything.
