Amazing staff for racers of all levels. They are respectful of all skill levels, and coach you based on where youre at. The cars are a blast to drive and the morning track walk was a great experience. The three day program really gives you the most bang for your buck. Highly recommend this school.

Their cars are exceptionally well maintained, fun to drive and competitive. Their staff is attentive to each participant's needs and objectives. An outstanding program in just about every way. The track is the most enjoyable and challenging I've driven (I've been on 7 tracks so far), the area is gorgeous (Monterey, etc.), the staff is very qualified, good at teaching and fun, and the cars are, in my opinion, the best school cars out there. I've been to 5 racing schools and this one ties for 1st Place in my thinking with one other school (which is on the other side of the country). I've driven the Formula 3 at Sonoma (amazing but beyond the ability of most students) and Bondurant's Challengers (not the best for learning road racing). The rest (FF, FM, F2000) are very good school cars but they don't match the Formula Renaults at Allen Berg's school. Allen and his team really care about their students. And I love this track!

I attended the Allen Berg Racing School at Laguna Seca the first week of June 2019. I raced formula fords in SCCA back in the 1980s but have been away from racing for several decades. I want to thank Allen and his unbelievable team of driving coaches (especially Nick Galante, Mike Whelan, Matt Keys, Matt Cresci, Courtney Crone, etc.) for a fabulous experience. Allen's verbal explanation of the track was fantastic. This is as close as you come to a fountain of youth. Driving these cars was way more fun than a 65-year-old should have! The Formula Renaults are excellent and I highly recommend it.

Having just attended the TWO DAY racing school, all I can say is...WOW!!! I had no idea that Allen's expert team could take ME having never even sat in a race car to hot lapping by the first day! My respect for Allen and his team is a 12 out of 10 easily. Worth every penny and I have rarely had so much fun and learned so much doing it. I was worried about feeling dumb or not being able to handle the car but with the way the team introduces and teaches you I have another skill that I didn't even know. I CAN RACE A FORMULA ONE CAR! I'll never watch a Formula One race the same again. Thanks again guys for going with me on this journey! I hope to do this again very soon!

Attended Allen's 3 day racing school it is was the best driving experience !! Top notch staff and vehicles. The morning track walk was with Allen Berg was the invaluable. Allen breaks down Laguna Seca which is one of the most technical tracks in the US. His professional staff will get you up to speed in a safe manner. Each driver can drive at their own comfort level. People with racing experience will also benefit from Allen's race school. At the end of each driving session we would down load the Motec data and analyse everyone's driving and compare to the datum ( pro driver ) lap. I plan on coming back again soon.

This is a racing school. Drivers learn to focus on one thing, maximizing each fraction of a second, on track, each moment. You don't go out in a van for pre-lap track recon...and babble with your new buddy in the back seat about London football. Instead, you're listening to every question from every driver and putting together a split second understanding of what the proper entry to the corner in front of you depends on. It's fun, safe and exciting. The Allen Berg team is good humored and put you at ease with their professionalism, but only to the point of a driver compromising safety for themselves and others. Weeks later, I'm still looking at the video shot from the car and listening to the debriefing and seeing how I can easily shave another 2 seconds from my lap times (at T2 and T6). Coming out of this class, I have perspectives that apply to business and life: maximizing each second...not to "win" but to do the best you can!

We had a wonderful time! Being able to watch my husband from the sidelines and take photos was absolutely amazing! The video footage is a cherished keepsake we will watch again and again. It was a truly unique 30th birthday experience for him. The training was fantastic! The crew, top notch! We appreciated Mr. Berg's humble, passionate approach to teaching. So many instructors who have been at an activity for too long have lost their love of passing knowledge down to others. That was certainly not the case with Mr. Berg. From the track walk at 7am to the classroom and track side instruction, it is clear that he still loves what he does! We truly felt welcome to relax and have an amazing day on the track! I was not sure what to expect when I purchased this gift back in January, but this experience went above and beyond. The entire event was one pleasant surprise after another. I have purchased GroupOn, Living Social, etc offers to several auto racing schools in Southern Cal, Allen Berg Racing School is the best!. Allen Berg is a former Formula 1 driver - he worked with our class of 8, as well as two additional teachers are former pro drivers. Our class went through the school on time, no waiting. The...
