Really helpful classes. Feeling better and better from the second class. All instructors are friendly and patience. Especially Peter, attend his classes if you can, his humor make the class interesting and 2-hour class time past so fast. Didn't attend other school so can't compare, but definitely won't regret if choose this one.

Jesse is an awesome instructor, he tries to analyse and teach from the scratch which is very organized and comfortable. Unlike my first class which I had with killmer was horrible. If you are ordered to take a TSS, I strongly recommend Stop & Go. This is NOT your run-of-the-mill sit for eight hours watching gruesome videos type of instruction with boring know-it-all instructor. Mark runs his program with concise real world explanation and also encourages sharing of participant's own experiences behind the wheel. I applaud Mark for taking the time to develop a synopsis that is inclusive and not condescending in its delivery. Truly a welcomed refresher course any seasoned and experienced driver such as myself can really appreciate.

I purchased the 10 hour package of driving lessons for my daughter. I think she learned a great deal from her lessons and overall, she had a great experience. We had issues with one of the lessons, but the management did a wonderful job solving the problem to my satisfaction. If you or a loved one need some quality driving instruction, I would recommend Stop and Go highly.

Stop and Go Driving School delivers! We purchased the driver's learners permit class and was totally prepared to take the test. Passed the test without problem. The class also covered the documentation that you need to bring to MVD. I would highly recommend this school.

I can' say enough positive things about the Stop and Go program. They cover all the territory from starter permit to final license. Having your kids drive is a scary prospect for parents and Stop and Go is added peace of mind. Our first child completed the course 4 yeas ago and now our second child just completed the course. I highly recommend Peter, her driving instructor, who has a very calm demeanor, which facilitates learning tremendously. He was extremely punctual, professional, and a great communicator. I will be requesting Peter again, as I have another child coming up in the driving world this Fall. Johnny, too, who coordinates the school is also fantastic. Don't choose Cole Smith, a very poignant instructor. He picked up every fault and did not tell me that we are on the test route and when the signal was yellow, he insisted that it is green and did not admit the truth. He bragged that he began drive at thirteen, which is in 1950s, which is very ridiculous.

My daughter had Peter for 90% of her driving classes. Peter was so friendly, personable and respectful. He was so good at communicating with all of us when the next lesson was. It’s great how they email and text you to remind you of a lesson. We bought the 15 lesson package and I can say that it was extremely worth it. My daughter is a great driver and I do not worry about her driving now. She is very confident and comfortable behind the wheel now that she has this experience. I have to say, I have been so nervous about driving since I decided I was going to be taking classes. I knew I had to have the best driver there is at Stop and Go. I noticed that many of the reviews were about Peter Fell, and I knew I had to schedule all my drives with him. Today was my first drive, and boy was I all sweaty palmed and everything. After awhile though, with the help of Peter, I felt so relaxed, and felt like I was doing so great. All in a nut shell Peter is great. I highly recommend him. He has a great and funny sense of humor and will be of great help. I have confidence that by the end of my fifth drive I will have my license. Go Peter!

I took the 20-hour package with Stop & Go on Prince Road. I had a number of different instructors, all of whom were great. In particular, Gilbert and Cole. They were both friendly, helpful, and very very competent instructors. I highly recommend this driving school!

This is an overpriced and unreliable service. Driver called to cancel lesson one hour before scheduled appnt. made nearly 3 weeks in advance. Owner could care less about inconvenience caused to us, even so much as to charge US a fee when HIS employee canceled. This place is run with no consideration to customers. I regret paying them anything. You will too.

Stop and go driving school is terrific. I would recommend this driving school to anyone wanting to get a drivers license. The instructors are encouraging and thorough . Each one on one lesson builds on skills that are taught from the beginning. I also took the permit class which covered all the questions on the written test. Special thanks to Deborah and Peter ! Peter is not a good trainer. He asked me to write the review which is benefit for him. And also he also like to ask others privacy. He is to teach children not to hijack them. Also he is always leave earlier and let the students wait for him to answer the phone call during their training time. He is really rubbish.

I highly recommend Stop and Go Driving School. I purchased their Gold package with the permit class. I took the class on a Saturday with Faye and I aced my permit test at the DMV a few days later. I called the school to get set-up in their system so I could schedule my drives. It was super easy. I chose what would fit into my life and ended up with 3 different instructors, I was a little nervous about that but they were all great. I drove with Alan Killmer, Phil, and Peter Fell. If I were Alan I would have been hyperventilating since he had me on my first ever drive but he was very patient, he took me out on some back roads for the most part and then we practiced parking. Alan was quiet but instructive. My second drive was a night drive and Phil just took me right out onto main roads. I had a blast and I felt at ease the whole time. He is a great conversationalist and I think that definitely helped keep me calm and focused. I drove with Peter for my last 3 drives. Alan and Phil got me comfortable with the idea of being on the road and Peter set me up for success as a driver by teaching me the rest of what I needed to know. I went from being a nervous wreck newbie to feeling calm and confident behind the wheel. I'm a 26 year old mother of 7 children and I definitely feel this was worth the investment. I'm very proud of myself for taking the jump. Thank you Faye, Alan, Phil and Peter for getting me on the road and teaching me this valuable life skill. After going threw the silver package I was more confident that I was going to pass the license test. Which I did all thanks to stop and go driving school and it only took one time! I bought the 10 hour driving package and got different instructors for each time. I was lucky enough to have peter as one of my instructors in one of those, and I really wish I would’ve chose him for every single one of my drives. He is patient, friendly, and is extremely thorough when explaining road signs and regulations, or any other questions you may have. He makes the driving lesson fun, all while being safe. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about your well being while you’re out on the road, and a great teacher, Peter is the one!!!

I took the ten hour class package over the summer and they totally helped me not only learn how to drive, but get rid of my fear of driving as well. I can't say how enjoyable it is to learn driving at Stop and Go. I never drove on the street before and had some concerns when trying to find a driving school since I am an international student. However, the flexible classes and professional trainers really helped me a lot. Peter Fell taught me for the entire five classes. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, teaching me most basic points used in daily driving. I strongly recommend international students consider this driving school.

Awful experience. Instructor was 1 hr. and 15 min late dropping our daughter off after the lesson. We later found out from our daughter that when the instructor was already late, he proceeded to stop at a used car lot and make a car payment leaving our daughter in the car by herself for 15 minutes. Owner accepted no fault and was defensive of the instructor. We cancelled our contract right after. As a small business owner myself, I find this behavior unconscionable.

Initially, we thought everything went very well. We paid for five 2 hour sessions with the permit class. It came out to about $639 plus $30 for the permit. Our first mistake was we kept the same instructer for five sessions (Coleman). On the fifth session when she was going to actually drive to pass her test he took her in town in more traffic and she didn't pass. On the previous four sessions he didn't take her in to practice in more traffic. When finished he scribbled some comments on a piece of paper that was barely legible and not organized. My daughter was pretty upset she didn't pass. I decided I was going to pay for one more session and thought that since I already paid $670 they may give me a break. It took me about four tries to finally get a hold of them as I left messages but never received a call back. I did finally get them to agree to one more session for only $80 instead of $160. They begrudgingly gave me that break. They were very responsive to initially get our business but not so much after it was finished. I didn't use that last session as I went with a different company. I have another daughter ready in one year to start driving but will not use them again. Follow-up is key to keeping business.

Very good driving school, very flexible on fitting my work schedule. Provides practice hours prior to 8am and post 5pm, which is very helpful for people with job. A little bit hard to practice during weekends, but that could depend on your location. For coach, I highly recommend Gilbert! Very good communication, supportive, has very good skills on encouraging and teaching. He knows what could be challenging for the beginner, he can give very clear and efficient guide, which make learning enjoyable. I heard that learning driving can be really stressful and frustrating , but when I was learning with Gilbert, I felt very relaxed and confident.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Let's start with... I am not a teenager, I am in my 30s and lived in NYC and Boston, and just never felt the need to drive. To be honest, I tried in Boston and it was a disaster, I had a terrible instructor there. Then I find myself in Tucson because of a work transfer and I have no option but to drive here. After researching around and seeing tons of positive reviews for Stop and Go, I decided to take my classes with them and that was the best decision I could have made!! So first, I did a 15-drive package. Thinking retrospectively, it was a bit too much though I do not regret doing the 15 drives. 5 drives is not enough, 10 is ideal. You will learn the basics with 5 drives, but you get much more refined and get much, much better technique with 10 drives. So I recommend anyone to take the 10 drive package. But again, I don't regret doing 15 because all the drives have been a pleasure! Each instructor has a style and is very different. I see a lot of reviews for Pete here and he is really awesome as people say in the reviews, but I also recommend going with other instructors too because you just get different techniques and it seems like each one likes something in particular. For example, Cole is all about perfect parking, super deep philosophical discussions (love it!!) and everyday practical stuff such as how to fill the tank, see the oil level... seems basic and it is, but I've never paid attention to that before becoming a driver. Annie, the badass school bus driver, is another amazing instructor and gave me tips that no other instructor did, she is really all about safety in the road (all of them are, of course), but it is like Annie teaches you to develop a sixth sense on children and distracted people on the road. Debbie was super fun to drive around and also gave me important instructions on driving around Tucson and how to find myself if cell phone dies and you don't have a gps. Phil was super chill and great to drive too. There are no negatives about Stop and Go. They are really the best in Tucson and possibly the best in entire Arizona.

They are the opposite of what they pretend I have 30 hours with them they took my mony &for two weeks they raised my blood pressure three times , jony say we dn,t have drivers , &when i sechudeld. ...no body showed while iam waiting in 0.5 of the appointments for more than one hour with furosturation eating me ,when i asked for refunding & compensation for my time wasted &missing my sechudele mark di,nt answer me for three days ,...wehen i called &complained about this treatmet he said he well close the phone on my face , not me to accept this ....i filed law siut against the company for refunding. compensation manners too. well i contacted onther school cheap 100 for 2hours &shahenaz the maneger was honest from the biggning &she took her mony up on arrival it is ...learn to drive school. Adviced strongly , she gave me after two wks but i find private one& started imeddiately & canceled with her ,she wished me the best

This is our second experience with Stop and Go Driving School. Both of our daughters have had Peter as their behind the wheel instructor. Our first daughter went through the permit class as well and was very impressed with all that she learned. She was confident in going in to take the written test passing easily. If you’ve ever tried to teach your kids to drive you know that any fee to pay someone else to take away that stress is worth it! Not only is it worth it with Stop and Go, you’ll be getting the best instruction in a safe learning environment. They are flexible with scheduling, always contact you in advance to confirm your appointment times, and are on time! Our daughters have had their instruction time begin with pick up at their school and drop off at home and vice versa. They have driven in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. They have driven on the interstate, city streets, and highways. You can schedule your drive times online or by calling the school directly. They use safe, well-maintained, newer vehicles for the instruction. Our daughters were provided with an all around quality instruction making us feel confident in their ability to safely drive alone when they obtained their driver’s license. All of the testing criteria is reviewed, practiced, and explained to ensure they know how to drive safely and lawfully. We highly recommend Stop and Go for anyone looking for a high quality, well rounded, safe learning experience.
