Starting off taking these classes for this driving school I didn't know what to espect, who was going to be my instructor. But when I met Kathleen H, she was beyond incredible, mean words couldn't really express it. She taught me everything I needed to know about safe driving. She helped me correct my errors, and had my back 100%. She gave me confident where I doubted in myself. She promised that I would passed and I did. I would recommend anyone to this driving school. The driving instruction was great. Joe is kind and great at getting you comfortable with the road. At first they seemed very friendly and willing to work with my schedule. However, Frank, has a very crude way of speaking to people who spend their money on these lessons. It's understandable that this is a business looking to make profit, and that seem to be Franks only concern. I fell ill and went through an abundance of life difficulties and was unable to make my last lesson despite the fact that I had already earned my licence. Not only was Frank short with me, he was rude and unsympathetic. As a person majoring in business, there should always be a certain level of tact applied to even the stickiest situations to avoid reviews such as this. WARNING: if you are unable to make you lesson and you happen to get your drivers license you probably will not receive any kind of refund. To conclude, this is not a business that I would recommend; not because the service provided is bad but rather because of the way I was treated in my moments of what I feel is understandable human weakness.

This program is a quick and easy way to not only learn the rules of the road and how to follow them, but also a quick way to get your license! I never felt any pressure when it came to driving with my instructor, nor did I feel any pressure during the actual driving test itself. My instructor was Monty, I loved our drives because we always had good conversations throughout the process. He was really good at holding conversations with me, and the talks we had made every drive 100x better!

I went from not knowing at all what I was doing, to driving on freeways, parallel parking, and three point turning with fairly good skill. Cantor's was a great investment for my 16 year old son. The fact that the instructors are all ex-police officers,and a strong recommendation from our neighbor (who employed Cantor's for her daughter) was the deciding factor in choosing this school over myriad competitors. I bought the Gold package,and my son used three different instructors over the course of instruction;each brought a unique perspective to maneuvering our local highways and byways. Having his final instructor,Norm,bring my son to the driving test was a definite confidence booster...and he passed easily on his first attempt. Thanks to all at Cantor's...I feel like I got what I paid for: peace of mind that my teenager had the best possible preparation for survival behind-the-wheel.

I absolutely love the concept that Cantor's has done with their driving instruction. Having former police officers (who know the roads better than anyone) teach your child to drive is beyond valuable!!!! We are in Henderson and my son had Norman as his instructor. What a class act he is!!! Such a wealth of knowledge that I even learned a thing or 2 just from talking with him. My son passed his test on the first try with a 94%! And he took the test in the pouring rain. Norman prepared him fully for the adverse conditions and my son was very comfortable. I searched all over looking for the best school to teach my child. If you are also doing what I did, LOOK NO FURTHER. I recommend Cantor's without a doubt as the perfect driving school.

I was very happy using the Cantor's Driving School for my son, and Terry was a wonderful instructor. He was very professional and taught my son all the rules of the road. Who could be better than a retired officer (and a big KUDOS to them for serving our communities)? I used another school in Las Vegas for a couple of my other kids, and they were very unprofessional and I don't think the kids got the training that I paid for. One of the other schools trainers actually stopped and filled up with gas during the two hour period, along with talking about everything other than driving (according to my other kids). Choose Cantor's Driving School. You will be very satisfied.

I will give this school a five star simply because if it wasnt for my driver coach terry i would have not build my confidence to drive. It took me forever to get my license because i didnt have a car to practice plus i was going to a different driving school so i tried this one and its great ! They help drive on streets and the high way too ! Its a great school i liked it and thanks to terry's positivity i passed my test with a 96 ! I was so happy. I absolutely loved this place. At first I was worried because of the price but it was worth every cent. I chose the green light package and Lisa was my instructor for the first 3 drives. She was amazing and kept me calm, and taught me a lot to be ready for my test. Stephanie was with me for my final drive and test and she taught me some last minute tricks to help me along. The road test and parking is a breeze after your first few lessons, and there really is no test pressure or anxiety at all. It's the same thing you've been doing the whole time! My instructor Lisa was great. My parents signed me up for the 10 hours behind the wheel, even though I already had enough driving experience to get my license. Lisa helped me understand the rules of the city streets and the freeway. She was on time to all of our appointments and was so easy to talk to while I was driving. She would tell right away if I made a mistake and then tell me how to correct it or how to make it better the next time. Lisa has had none of her students fail and I got 100% on my final, which shows that she is a great instructor. I would definitely recommend taking lessons from Lisa.

This is such a great driving school, I only had 4 classes there with the last being the actual test and in those few lessons I become so much more confident in my driving abilities, this is probably one of the best schools in Pheonix you can go too, my instructor Lisa was super great, she doesn’t yell and is very patient with you and is very good at reminding you about proper techniques in driving. All in all it’s a great school and you should ask if Lisa can be your instructor.

We got to see some of the most ridiculous drivers in the downtown area and learn what to watch out for especially for those who decide to jaywalk. I was a student for 5 days and the program they have set for students is very well thought out and perfect for anyone starting out. One thing that really stood out to me was the fact that you not only had to pass the 3 point turn, but also parallel. It sounds tedious but they’re vital for situations that you come across driving on your own. I also highly recommend my instructor Monty. He’s an amazing guy with a talkative personality that really makes you feel at ease. I love how he handled me and didn’t really feel like a teacher. I looked forward to every lesson we took together. All in all the entire program top to bottom is amazing and will be good for anyone wanting to get help.

This place is amazing. I had turned 18 and finally felt comfortable getting a license and decided to take some driving lessons. I took 4 or 5 lessons and a day-of-test service. I took all them with Richard. An amazing guy! really boosted my driving confidence and explained things so well. You really develop a friendship with your instructor too! One time he came to pick me up for my lesson I had asked him if he could help me kill a scorpion in my house and he did! such a nice guy and I was really glad I took lessons from Cantor.

I was SO nervous to start driving, but I'm not one to argue with a teacher (parents, is a different story), so I did everything my instructor, Kathleen M., told me to do without question. And guess what, everything was nothing but smooth sailing!!! If ever there was about to be a bump or maybe I did have a small slip up, Kathleen assured me everything was all right and helped me through everything I felt unsure about (which was just about everything and anything at the start). Our experience with Cantors was excellent. My son did the 30 hour on line course and passed permit first try. My son did 10 hours of driving to get my son ready and then we did a two hour refresher before the test and used them for the test. I am glad I did I drove my own car to the DMV and the check engine light was on so he would not have been able to take the test. I needed an oil change so thankful. I just passed my exam this morning. This driving school helped me alot. I had two driver instructors from this school, Joe and Richard. My first instructor, Joe was very knowledgeable about driving. He is very clever. It was because of him that I felt more confident and comfortable driving on roads. Richard was my second instructor. Very patient guy indeed! I can't even express on words how comfortable I am driving with him. He make sure that everything that you need to know for the exam was covered. Man, this guy is a blessing! I don't know if Cantor's school just have this unique, awesome professionalism as both Joe and Richard displayed almost the same attitude when I drove with them. They are great people! To be honest, I wish I can drive with them more! They are very well trained as they used to be police officers. They will make sure that you know everything that the DMV will be testing you on, they notice the little stuff they can see that you need to improve on, but after that trust me, you will start to develop a good habit in driving. The Cantor program was not only helpful, but an overall enjoyable experience. The instructor comes to your house to pick you up and guide you through the (sometimes literal) twists and turns or driving. I have to review the owner of Cantor's Driving School, Frank Cantor. He is highly unprofessional, unethical, a liar, and flat out rude. Every time he gets a negative review (mainly on Google and Facebook) he talks bad about the reviewer instead of replying to the valid complaints or concerns his customers have. He is above publicly apologizing and admitting to his wrong doings. In my situation, I rated him poorly because of his disrespectful attitude when I left his company a voicemail at 10PM. I had no idea I was calling a cell phone number. I was trying to let the company know as soon as possible of my appointment cancellation (for the second time, my first contact was via email which the company acknowledged my cancellation) and as a result, I get a nasty text message. Frank's response? Apparently, I was disrespectful to his employees which never, ever happened (hence the "liar" characteristic I gave). I am always kind and respectful. I review companies because I believe KINDNESS, RESPECT, and PROFESSIONALISM is to be rewarded and exalted. When this is not shown, it has to be known because customer service should be every company's first priority. Frank did give me a refund for the remainder of the appointments I did not use which was kind however, even his attitude while refunding me was mocking me and was very reluctant. Frank Cantor has 0 professionalism and if he is given an opportunity to be condescending and lie, he will take it.

Cantor's Driving School offers great lessons for people completely new to driving. My instructor, Jim F., helped me with learning how drive safely and responsibly through my 5 sessions. I started off with no idea on how to park, when to signal turns, lane changing, etc., and ended up with extensive knowledge on those tasks and even some tips for the requirements on the Driver's Test. I recommend this class to help ease into driving, because each lesson was paced well so that there was a fair amount of time in each session to learn something new and then practice it.

I recently moved to Nevada from the UK and whilst having driven back in the UK for many years it was daunting to now have to drive on the opposite side of the street. Don't get me wrong I could drive but road rules are different and as we all drivers know we pick up the odd bad habit. I decided that I would look into a couple of driving lessons more for the defensive driving techniques and interstate driving practice with the confidence of another who knew the roads and it's rules. I came across Cantor's Driving School amongst many others. The one thing that made it stand out more than all of the others I looked at and believe me there were a few, the instructors are all ex police officers so have a vast knowledge of the road systems and the laws that govern them. I contacted Frank the owner who was very friendly and helpful with all questions and queries I had and after a short discussion I opted for the 3 lesson and test service. This was perfect for me. Being new to Nevada and not knowing anyone especially finding out the day I completed the theory test that I was not able to take my test in a rental car and that car insurance for my new car would be rediculous price wise without a Nevada driving licence. Terry was my instructor and was absolutely fantastic really knew how to put you at ease and his easy teach techniques such as the dreaded parallel parking he turned into a simple manoeuvre not to be feared. My son will soon be applying for his learners permit and without a doubt I will be returning to Cantor's. I would highly recommend this driving school that covers the Las Vegas and Henderson area and I am sure elsewhere in the future. Thankyou for the help in getting my Nevada driving licence.

I used other driving schools and was not happy with the service. The Cantor driving school is by far THE BEST in the city. My instructor, Joe, was courteous, punctual and excellent. He taught me well, and knew exactly what to emphasize for my driving test. He also made the lessons a lot of fun! If you need to learn to drive, I strongly recommend that you don’t waste your time with other schools and go right to the Cantor school!

Frank was very accessible and helpful in setting up the lessons and Terry was the very professional instructor who helped her achieve her goal. She did not have access to a vehicle of her own so they picked up and dropped off for each lesson and they made the appointment for the driving test which they attended with her. The entire reason I wanted to get driving lessons was to build my confidence. I knew the rules of the road and how the vehicle operated, but I was not a strong driver. My mom searched online and found Cantor’s, and even after my first lesson my confidence went up! After four lessons and the final test, I’ve probably become a better driver 10 fold. I had 3 instructors (Kathleen H., Lisa, and Monty), and each provided insight and knowledge about driving, from some of the more obscure rules that I may have missed, to the best ways to parallel park and execute 3-point turns. My 16-Yr-Old, had 3 days of Lessons with one of the company's Instructors, Norman. He really liked Norman. In 3 days he learned more from Norman than me & my wife have taught him, in the past yr of driving with us! My son said, Norman "made him feel at ease so it provided a Great learning environment"...says, he "learned a lot," and that Norman had a good sense of humor, too! He still talks about Norman! :-) He can't wait to take his Driver's Test just so he can call Norman to tell him he passed :-D ...From a parent's prospective...knowing that the instructors are former cops, made me feel that my son was in good hands. Having the instructor give him lessons from a policeman's perspective, with driving laws & what to anticipate and be aware of, truly provide The Best learning environment for our son!!!...he consumed more info in the 3 days, than I (myself) ever learned taking "Driver's Ed," in high school :-) On the 1st Day, after the lesson, Norman walked our son to the front door, gave my wife a detailed "run-down" of what he taught our son on the lesson, & gave him a quick verbal quiz of some of the things they went over. He was attentive, looked us directly in the eyes while talking, and very professional! He (also) took our son out for 2 hours, or more, each day. So we weren't cheated with the Time we paid for...I especially liked that the Owner, himself, answered the telephone when my wife called to schedule the 3 days of lessons. Franke Cantor, the Owner, was informative, & Pricing was Great for what our son learned! My wife & I Highly recommend this company to Anyone who is looking for a, "peace of mind," when it comes to looking for well-qualified instructors for their beloved kid(s). ...we want our kids to start off on a good path, and this is one invaluable lesson that "no money" can buy!!!

Terry was our son's instructor, with 8 total hours of driving instruction.
