REVIEWS OF Mesa Primary Care IN Wyoming

When making an appointment I was assured that they could handle several already diagnosed health issues for my husband. We paid $200 to be told once we got there this was not the case and the doctor referred us out to a specialist we already had an appointment with so its not like we needed the referral. Also we knew my husband would have to see the endocrinologist once a year but the doctor at mesa health refused to handle one of the other very basic health issues and wanted the super expensive specialist to handle that as well which would force us to go twice a year instead of once. We've since found several doctors who were more than able to handle this and charge way less than $200 a visit for saying they can't help us.

Toby Buhler

You're just a nameless case here, same as at the parent hospital. They portray themselves as your family Physician, but there is never a follow-up, to see how you are doing or a return call when you wish to speak with your Doctor. Substandard and won't return.

Joe Schaffner

I been going to Mesa for 2 years now. Loura (DNP) has been great. I've tried to get in to see my primary doctor and appointments are 6 weeks out is the soonest. In six weeks I won't need a doctor.

Nate Britt

The facility is clean and modern. The cost is a little high ($114 per visit) if you don't have expensive insurance. The doctor I worked with (Dr. Dunn) is exceptionally gifted in listening and has a broad knowledge base when it comes to medical issues and their treatments. I strongly recommend Dr. Dunn as a doctor. If you schedule an appointment, you won't be waiting in the waiting room too much longer than you would anywhere else (15-20 mins or so). This sounds like a five star review up to this point and this is where the review takes a bit of a turn. The major issue I have with this office is their lack of effort put forth to communicate with patients. One of my visits required lab work. I was told I would hear back from them within a couple of days. I waited over a week and still have not heard anything from them. I did have to pay separately for the lab work, so I am hoping I will still hear from them regarding the lab work. In the week I waited, I contacted the office six times over the course of four days trying to reach someone who could let me know what was happening with the situation because my employer asked that I not return to work until the doctor knew what was wrong with me (via lab work). I lost four days of work while waiting. I did receive a phone call today and was told that all the messages that the receptionists had told me they gave to the doctor had not made it back. The doctor had left for the day and won't be in for another five days. Maybe I'll hear from him then. To sum up, this facility is state of the art and the medical professionals know their stuff. The inefficiency of the rest of the staff causes unneeded anxiety and frustration. Thankfully, this is an issue that if management were to address properly, it could be fixed and Mesa Primary Care could be well on the way to becoming one of the best medical offices in Casper.

Their website says they open at 7. Their front door says they open at 7:30.....they actually open at 8am. Very poorly organized operation.

I have had very good experiences here both from one of the emergency clinic doctors, and from my primary physician, Dr. Talbot. She always listens to you as a patient, asks relevant questions, and provides answers to your questions. I am very happy with the level of patient service there.

Melissa Reilly

Sam Ray

They are quick and affordable. If you need any info after your visit they can be a little slow but they deal in a high volume of patients so it's understandable.

Loura is my primary care provider for more than a year now and I am very satisfied!! I would recommend her to anyone very compassionate and caring in her position. She always listens to how I'm feeling. The only problem I ever have is trying to get med refills when she's unavailable it's like pulling teeth. Kat in the front is very helpful and I appreciate her very much but shouldn't there be a prescribing doctor at the office at all times. If this situation was fixed then it would be the perfect health care facility!!!

Pretty disappointed in this clinic. Had my son there Tuesday. Wait time was horrible. My son was in tons or pain. Then the docs said he just had a stomach bug and sent us home, with no tests or blood work. Wednesday thought he was getting better till Wednesday night, called his pediatrician and got an appointment . 10 mins into the appointment she sent us to the er. Turns out he had appendicitis and it ruptured. Luckily I did what my gut was telling me and got a second opinion. I'll never take any of my children to the walkin clinic at Mesa ever again!

Leilani Hanamaikai

Extremely slow.

I went to the immediate care, in hope of getting a blood test to see if I was diabetic or not as I had a DOT physical done earlier this year which showed an elevated sugar in my urine! Was greeted by Angela, a very nice young receptionist who went out of her way to find out if it was possible to have it done there. Wasn't able to get an appointment there, because I needed to be seen in the late afternoons. She asked if I'd been to Community Health before, I said yes I have, so she called them and I was able to get an appointment there! Angela was an awesome lady, and I thanked her for her efforts! Love when people take a moment out of their busy schedule to help people and show they care!

Tammy Wardlow

Dr Dunn is very personable. He cares about how I feel. He listens and he doesn’t jump to conclusions! Dr. Tabert took my friend in and was open to her needs I was very impressed with her love and concern for her patient! Office staff needs more people. They try there hardest but there is not enough of them to go around! I love this place. Feels like home

I am so disappointed with my experience with Mesa clinic. I was searching for a family doctor for me, my husband and daughter. Wanted to see dr.Knudson, but she was unavailable, so I set an appointment with Loura. I really liked her and she ordered a blood work for me and prescribed one month medication, saying that as soon as blood work done, she will plan the treatment. I registered on the portal, had blood work done last Wednesday, saw my results online on Friday, one week later nobody called me, so yesterday I called in the morning, at 10 am, explaining situation, lady on reception promised that nurse will give me a call, nobody called, then I called at 5pm, and was told that Laura haven't received the results yet! Really?! I saw the results online 5 days before that. Okay, they said she will call. Today nobody called, I called again, and was said that I only called once in the evening and I need to wait. Not only my phone shows when I called, I also have all 3 calls recorded, but probably it's not enough. How can I trust health of my family to the clinic that has no ethics, why should I pay money and then worry about results, not knowing what to do with medication, I also asked if they can give me blood work results so I can go to different doctor, they said no, I need to talk to nurse, nurse that doesn't give me a call back. I am so upset, I traveled all over the world and visited different clinics, but never was treated like in Mesa.

I am very pleased with the staff and help I am receiving at Mesa

I see Deb Griner at Mesa. She is very thorough and very knowledgeable. Her assistant Casey is also great. She remembers you and genuinely cares about people. Sometimes you have to wait a while (what busy clinic isn't like that?), sometimes you are right in. Since Deb doesn't rush and makes sure I get complete care I figure she is doing that for her other patients so I don't mind. The front office people are great. They are very nice and efficient. I highly recommend Deb and this clinic. Deb left I was very sad. But now I see Dr. Rosalez. She is awesome as well. Very thorough. I highly recommend her. I have also seen Cassie for a same day, excellent as well. I am very impressed.

Love That My Primary Deb Is Interactive and Most caring Primary I've ever Had.. And I really Hate Doctors Due to Case by case no personal Heart into each client.. but Deb is Completely Different and wowed me from the beginning Highly Recommend Mesa One on One is the case

The front office girls and Laura were awesome. However my appointment was almost 2 weeks ago. Was scheduled for an ultra sound a week ago and called to see if they had received the results. Was told a nurse would call me back. That was 3 days ago. Also was supposed to have an order sent in to an orthopedic surgeon for a referral appointment and since then have called the orthopedic DR. Myself and still haven't been called back. I'm glad it's nothing serious or at least i hope it's not.

Went in with a sty and a cold, Told the doctor everyone at my work has a sty of fungal origin, not bacterial, Doctor prescribed me medicine for bacterial, And gave me NOTHING for my cold, 2 weeks later, I still have a sty

What. A. Joke. The billing department sent us a receipt showing we had a $0 balance after we paid in full. They kept sending bills after that and we were forced to pay again after we paid in full. The billing lady hung up on my husband and would not listen to what we had to say. When making appointments we were always placed on hold for long periods of time. The doctor could not help with my husband's medical problem. I would not recommend Mesa to anyone.

Dr. Knudson is great, so this is more for the clinic as a whole. It is absolutely impossible to get a same day (or even next day) appointment with your "primary care provider." They send you to Urgent Care. There, you wait for a minimum of 2 hours and have go back at least twice to get a simple problem solved. I've mentioned it several times and they think they are doing great because they are "only" 3-4 weeks out on scheduling appointments....

Tracy Wilson

Dr. Rosalez is amazing. She is very thorough, and positive. I am very glad as a family we are able to have her as our primary doctor.

I went to this facilicty two years ago. I was seen by a doctor, but unfortunately, nobody told me that he was going to quit in less than a week. I got some blood work done and it took a while to get the results back. When they came back, I don't think a doctor ever looked at them, but, I did have a technician review the results with me. The results were in the normal range, but the session didn't really address my initial complaint. The people seemed nice enough and the facility was clean and modern. The fact that I didn't have a doctor who knew anything about me by the end of the experience bothered me, so I'm pretty hesitant to go back.

BARBARA ANDERSON

My son called and left a message for Dr. Talbot to make an appointment and supposedly you were open but he called several times and always got the answering service. As of today he still has not gotten called. back. If this is any indication how you treat your patients I think he should be finding a new doctor. He ended up going to Instacare.

Joshua Albrecht

The reception staff is aweful to work with. They lose track of appointments and prescriptions. They are always rude and it takes a month on average to see my doctor. The only reason I'm still here is because I like my doctor, and haven't found a new one. Two stars is generous.

It took a week and a half and five phone calls to get a prescription renewed for physical therapy after I re-injured my neck. This is something that has been an ongoing problem where the staff at the front desk does not communicate with the doctors or nurse practitioner. Thanks to Mesa Primary Care I have been sitting around in pain for a week and a half with a neck injury because they would not send over a new prescription to my physical therapist. Ten days later Loura finally sent it over and I will be able to get my neck checked out. I will be switching to a new PCP and would not recommend MPC to ANYONE.

Austyn Roberts

Took my 3 year old son who ended up having bronchitis here. They put us in a room and didn't come back into the room for 2 hours. When they did come in the room they didn't tell us who they were or anything looked at my son for 2 minutes. Told ne they would call in meds but didn't tell me what meds or Why we were getting those meds. Then told us we can go but didn't give ua check out paper work and didn't show us the way out. Rude nurse. I will not be taking my son back ever

Ashley Hullinger

Loura has been so amazing. I went in thinking this would be just like any other Dr visit but not was I wrong. She took the time to get to know me and my medical history. And she continues to help look for ways to deal with all my medical issues that work for me.. I will recommend her to everyone I meet .

First visit was great, everyone was friendly and it got done quickly, even though apointments are scheduled a month out. Since then I cant log into the patient portal with either mine or my daughters information. They were supposed to call to set up another apt when her information got faxed over but haven't. I have tried calling them for the past 2 weeks, their direct line and theyre appointment line. I have left multiple voicemails and they still have not returned any of my calls. As of now we'll be switching doctors.

Alexandra Li

Made an appointment with Dr. Talbot. Didn't have any real issues with them until she was an hour late AND she gave me a supply of one pill for a controlled substance. What in the world am I suppose to do with one pill? Not to mention her assistant wasn't the warmest person around. Such a waste of time

H M

When I initially scheduled my appointment they told me it was Monday at 1030. When I got there the lady at the front desk wouldn't acknowledge that I was standing there and finally when she did she rudely told me my appointment wasnt that day. When I rescheduled I went in for a 0730 appointment and had to wait a little over a hour to see a provider. It is sad to me the lack of respect for other people time this clinic has. Not once during this whole experience was there an apology or even an acknowledgement of anything.

I waited in lobby for an hour and a half.
