We have seen Dr. Abrams since our girls were infants. He is always so kind and friendly. And they love him and feel safe with him. Which makes a big difference when seeing him for things like a broken bone or sickness. The entire staff is helpful and pleasant and makes our pediatric experience better!

He is very knowledgeable and has amazing "bedside manners". I have really liked going to Alpine Pediatrics and love that I have so many options of locations and doctors- however, I HATE their system of getting in touch with a nurse. It is a joke that we have to wait obscene amount of time on hold (never an option of leaving a message and getting a returned phone call)- and when a nurse finally answers, they typically are snotty and rude!

If could rate lower I would. I took my daughter there since birth (7 years) and I heard a squeak coming from her heart. It literally squeaked instead of beating. They told me I was crazy and had munchausen by proxy. Well turns out, a dr that actually knows how to do his job heard the problem after i moved out of state and my daughter has an aortic stenosis (valve didn't form properly and is pinched off) and an atrial spetal defect (a hole)!!! What a bunch of jerks! This should have been fixed when she was a new born! I saw several doctors there and dr Johnson told me I was crazy and because I didn't have a stethoscope, There was no way I could hear something like I explained. I told the staff an they did nothing. She didn't get any EKGs or ultrasounds. Nothing! Now she needs heart surgery because these people don't know what they are doing! It could cost your child his or her life if you trust them! Beware!!!

We absolutely love Alpine Peds! We started seeing another doctor at another office when my first daughter was born and never felt like he actually cared. We have seen multiple doctors and PA's here and have loved everyone! We usually see Dr Johnson or Dr Arnold and they are both amazing with the little ones! Alpine Pediatrics is great! They have a very child-friendly atmosphere with a large sick-child waiting room and well-child waiting room, each one is complete with a little play room with fun windows (circles, triangles, and squares). The staff were friendly and recognized us as soon as they heard our name even though we had never set foot in the office before (our baby was in the NICU so they processed a lot of paperwork before we ever came in). The nurses were friendly and reassuring and our doctor is great. I wish we would have found this place sooner!

I cannot say enough good things about this office, particularly Dr. Weston Spencer. We actually travel from 2 counties away (an hour or more) just to have him see our children as our primary care pediatrician. He is great about combining appointments for multiple children's well child visits. He does a fantastic job at keeping track of the specialists my children see and coordinating efforts and he is AMAZING with kids. He always calls promptly with lab results and takes the time to explain them. I am pleased that the office has a vaccination policy, as we have a daughter that is on medication and is immune compromised. We also really appreciate the separate well and sick child waiting rooms for the same reason. The extended hours and nurses line are a bonus, as I have often had questions answered without the need to go in. The front office staff is pleasant, friendly and courteous. My only negative is the billing department's use of very aggressive tactics. We had payed a co-payment of $20, but they did not apply it to the correct child. Consequently, we received numerous harassing phone calls with threats to refer us to a collection agency. When we were able to call and straighten it out, they stopped, but it was very frustrating, especially since I had been a long time customer with 5 children and no outstanding bills. Definite customer service training needed in that department! Overall: recommended.

We have been coming to Alpine Pediatrics for almost 5 years. They have always been extremely professional, punctual, and caring with both us and our children. The on-call nurses are very knowledgeable and helpful when you aren't sure if you need to be seen, or just have a quick question. The after hour services are also extremely helpful. We have been to multiple locations and have had great service at all, but we love Dr. Spencer in Pleasant Grove!

Dr. Swords is excellent! 5 stars for her alone, but 4 overall because our first experience wasn't as impressive. We almost went somewhere else but I'm so glad we tried Dr. Swords first! Since then, we have seen a couple of the other Drs at Pleasant Grove office and they have been great too. Dr Swords has been vigilant and responsive to my son's medical needs. More than once her response has been the key to my infant son getting the help he needed timely. She was amazing with my 3 year old twins - checking out their stuffed animals first to help them feel comfortable. Couldn't be happier with her. If you've had a bad experience here, try a different Dr. - so many are great.

I had an appointment at 2:20pm to get my toddler some vaccines . I got there by 2:15 and it took me like 10 mins to fill out their check in stuff and have it turned in. I kept watching other people come and get called back. My son was happy playing around luckily but by the time I had been fed up with waiting, I went up to the desk and told them our appointment was at 2:20. They acted shocked that I had Not been called yet when I was sitting in front of their faces the whole time. I asked the lady to tell me the time and she said it was 3:20. By the time we got called another 10 mins had gone by and by the time my son got his vaccines done it was a total of 1 1/2 hours! This was only my second time going into their office and the first time was also a horrible experience! The nurse was all frustrated because I was asking so many questions about certain vaccines and was giving me attitude and I just did not want to come back but I wanted to give them the benefit of a doubt that maybe it was just that one nurse but now I realize this office just has horrible customer service and I don’t recommend this office at all!!

Dr. Arnold is awesome, and we normally go to him. But recently we couldn’t get in to him and had to see Madison Heyn and had a very poor experience. She seemed to be lacking in knowledge when it came to prescriptions and what she prescribed our son. It was very frustrating to receive follow up calls that differed from what we were originally told. Also had a pretty bad experience with Dr. Swords. We understand that doctors have our baby’s best interest in mind but she made my wife feel like a neglectful parent and that she wasn’t doing a good job.

We love the PG location, although we visit the Orem location more often. Dr. Cox is an amazing, talented Doctor. I highly recommend him. He diagnosed my daughter with Stevens Johnsons syndrome within minutes of looking at her and asking a few questions. We are forever thankful! PG has a beautiful waiting area, and all the rooms are decorated differently. I love that they have separate waiting areas for sick and well visits! Highly recommend these guys!

We love alpine pediatrics! Had to switch pediatricians several years ago due to insurance changes and we have been so pleased and actually grateful we had to switch! We see Dr. Cox and really like him. He takes lots of time in our appointments to talk and listen and thoroughly address any questions or concerns. He is one of those great doctors who doesn't patronize or act condescending and he explains things well and involves us as the parents in decision making. He also is quick to complement, recognize the hard work we do as parents, and build us up. It's very sweet. My kids really like him, as well. Alpine pediatrics is really easy to schedule with and has lots of locations, which is super convenient. I LOVE that they have after hours "instacare" type services on evenings and weekends. It's awesome to be able to go Somewhere familiar instead of a random instacare. In the fall, they also hold extra after hours flu shot clinics which makes getting my whole family the flu shot a breeze. Can't say enough that good about them. Receptionists and nurses are friendly.... it's just a great all around experience.

You want your kids to be cared for. They didn't care for ours. It was yep, yep, ok. Looks good see you later. Oh, our baby had to be under lights for several days and, yep, yep looks good is appropriate in this situation. You be the judge. Oh, and they were the on call doctor at the hospital, but they don't except our insurance, which they told us after they already saw us. This place is in need of new doctors and new management. You are probably reading all the great reviews on here. Following the fan club is not always the best decision.

The doctors here are amazing and the after hours are great. The only thing I don't love is when you call a nurse you are often on hold for 30 minutes or more. At my last doctors office they had an answering machine you could leave a message on and they'd get back to you. I wish they did that so you didn't have to waste your day while waiting on hold.

I'm currently at 94 minutes on hold. Today is a holiday and my child has pink eye. I figured it would be a simple task to call in and get a prescription. The receptionist answered and said it would be about a 20 minute wait to talk to a nurse, not a problem. The automated system reported how many minutes wait I had but it never really went down. At about 45 minutes into the call I started writing down how many minutes it said I had left: 12, 9, 13, 7, 4, 1, 20 17, 6. At this point I'm just waiting so I can yell at the poor person who answers the phone and it's probably not even her fault. At about 60 minutes into the call I called the receptionist again to check if something is wrong with the phone system. She said it's fine, the nurse is just busy trying to cover all five offices. Edit: I finally got through, the nurse seemed genuinely surprised that I had waited so long, on her side it only said I'd been waiting 20 minutes. It appears something is messed up with the phone system.

Six weeks ago our lives were turned upside down when our son was born seven weeks early. Dr. Johnson came to the hospital on a Sunday afternoon and gave excellent post-natal care to our new preemie, and is now our regular doctor. He is an incredible doctor who cares about his patients and does an excellent job with explaining complicated procedures and reassuring parents. Plus, he's been the father of two preemies, so he knows exactly what parents are going through. He's a fantastic pediatrician.

I wrote a much longer review on their facebook page. I used to love them but can no longer recommend them. I requested Celiac testing for my son, it came back positive (unfortunately), and they have been unhelpful in helping me figure out what to do while I am waiting to meet with the GI specialist. They were very rude with what I felt like was a reasonable request for getting me information I needed to proceed (information that they could provide, I wasn't asking them to do something that was possible to do for myself).

I love Alpine Pediatrics and always recommend them to my friends who are having babies. We specifically see Dr. Arnold and love him, but on occasion have needed to see other providers for sick visits and haven't had a bad experience with any of the doctors. The entire staff is wonderful, from billing and scheduling to medical staff, all are so kind and attentive. Willing to listen and ensure your concerns are addressed. They never have made me feel like I am paranoid if I call for the littlest thing and are just so patient with everyone.

I had two appointments this morning for well child checks. I was a little late coming to my apt because my daughter ended throwing up this morning. We don’t live far from the office I called anyway and let them know we were almost there. I walk and on the well child side and talked to the receptionist on the far right side that was working on that side she was wearing a white top with stripes. About that yeah I have never felt like someone be so rude right off the second I walked in she said I’ll be right with you, in a very rude tone. It wasn’t (hi, I’ll be right with you) or (sorry I’ll be right with you) (IT WAS ILL BE RIGHT WITH YOU!) so I sat down and she was whispering to the other two receptionists, they called me back up then I seen her roll her eyes at me. Even my teenage daughter seen it and thought she was being rude. You really need to teach them some manners or know who you hire. I normally come in on the sick side and have never been talked to in that tone. It’s disgusting. 15 years I have been coming to this office with 4 of my children. Your about to lose my business.

Dr. Johnson has been a great asset to our family. When my son was born with special needs last year he was a great comfort to our whole family. He not only cared for my baby, but was also concerned about my needs as well as my other children. He has many years of experience, great knowledge & most of all concern and love for his patients. One day we were eating at a fast food establishment & I wasn't aware that he was eating at the same place. He got out of his seat & came over to our table & called my son by name while asking how he was doing. This meant a lot to our family that he would remember us & take the time to check up on us outside of work. We are so grateful that we have had him to help our son & his medical needs.

I LOVE Alpine Peds. I went there as a child, so it was a no-brainer to bring my daughter to Alpine Peds after she was born. I love that there are now so many locations (some closer to home, some closer to work). I have always felt listened to and taken care of. My daughter is comfortable and well cared for. Their scheduling is flexible and the online patient portal is helpful for obtaining vaccination records.

Absolutely love Alpine Pediatrics. My kids love that every room is decorated in a different theme and has books for them while we wait. We have been going here for 5 years and haven't had anything but an amazing experience. Wouldn't take my kids anywhere else! Dr. Cox is our favorite! He spends as much time with you as you need to address any concerns you have and he is wonderful with my kids!

They are always able to schedule my son in for an appointment when i call and they will always do what they can to see him. We really like Kristi Cox! She was the first doctor we seen there and We fell in love with her. They always listen to me when I have a concern which is VERY important to me. Mom’s intuition is usually right and they listen to me. I would recommend this office! I heard about them from my sister cuz she took her kids there 14 years ago and they were the office that diagnosed his chronic kidney disease (hypoplastic kidney).

14 years ago we moved to Utah County when our baby was a week old. We asked at LDS hospital for a great pediatrician and the Dr's there all said we must see Dr. David Johnson(the founder of Alpine Peds) at Alpine Pediatrics. We set our two week appointment with him and we have never left. I had such a great experience, that at my oldest son's two month appointment that I asked if they were hiring. 14 years later and I still work here and bring my 4 sons. Now that Dr. Johnson has retired, we see Dr. Cox and Jeff Abram. Both make you feel listened to, cared about, and give top of the line care, but you really can't go wrong with any of our providers. Alpine Pediatrics offers same day appointments for when your kids are sick, 6 days of After Hours care for urgent matters that happen outside of normal business hours( M-F 6-10 pm and Saturdays 9-5), and a nurse on call 24 hours a day to answer questions. We now have 5 offices so you can pick a location close to you. Alpine Pediatrics is the best pediatric office in the Utah County area.

The whole staff at the PG office is amazing! I called in the middle of the night a few times as a scared first time mom and they were always so sweet and helpful! Dr. Cox is the best! He was the dr to check on my daughter when she was born and we loved him so we started going there because of him. He's so sweet and takes times to answer every question you have. He's never pushy over anything and is so sweet to my daughter when she's scared. Love them all!

We absolutely love Alpine Pediatrics! The front office staff is prompt and very friendly. The doctors are incredible and make sure all your questions and concerns are answered and that you understand them fully. I love that they have after hours. It saves so much more money rather than having to go to the ER for stitches or a broken bone. The doctors want to make sure you aren't wasting your money or time. You will be blown away by this office. I know we will never go anywhere else.

Been going here for several years and had almost all positive experiences. Have seen several different doctors and PA at this office and they've all been good. Love the office setup, love being able to get appointment the same day easily, love the after hours clinic. Never had any issues with billing or fees. Only complaint is they are a little too reluctant to give out a antibiotic Rx when it turned out antibiotics were needed. The good experiences far outweigh that negative though and I will keep going to this office for a long time.

We have 3 instances where we took our child in for an infection only to be sent away with instructions to "follow up" if it got worse. One time we went immediately in to a different practice where our child was given an emergency shot of rocephin and antibiotics for an obvious case of cellilitis. On another we ended up in the ER. When I called to file a complaint I was told that her treatment was appropriate and that they weren't even going to mention it to the providers...oh and that we probably weren't a good fit for their practice which we had been attending for over a decade. Alpine Pediatrics admitted they have a blanket policy now of withholding antibiotics on first visits, even in extreme cases like this hey why not? Double the visits, double the money right?

We have been seeing him for eight years, since our first child was born and he is still just as kind and concerned with our last child as with our first. Their office is clean, rhe staff is professional and the nurse line and after hours clinic are fantastic- saved us both time and money! This is a great office with many locations and we love them!

We have been seeing pediatricians at Alpine Pediatrics for over 11 years now and without hesitation we can say they are the best! Great staff, accommodating and compassionate in all they do. They've been there for our best and worst medical moments. Jeff Abram is our main pediatrician and I still travel many miles, past plenty of other pediatric offices to see him, but when needed we've also seen dr cox and others and we have been pleased with every single one of them. I could go on and on about the why's but call them, make an appointment and see for yourself why we've stayed with them for over a decade.

Jeff Abram and Dr. Cox are the best! They’re always happy answer my first time parent questions thoroughly and help my nervous toddler feel at ease during his appointments. The entire staff at the PG office is friendly and patient and the nurse line is really helpful. I love that there are after hours appointments and same day availability. We’ve taken advantage of those many times when we’ve had concerns, and they have always been quick to get us in at one of the offices. When I’ve gone in for things that didn’t need treatment, the providers have always been really good at explaining what symptoms to look for to bring my son back in, so I can feel confident that I’m getting my son the best treatment. The one issue I’ve run into, is the nurse line call wait time can be long and there’s no option to leave a voicemail. It can be hard to be on hold for so long while taking care of little ones. Overall though we’ve had a very positive experience and I would highly recommend Alpine Pediatrics.

He has been so good with all of our kids, and helped to not only help us figure our our daughters sensory disorder, but point us to the right people to help us get her the help she needed. Well, we have been going to Alpine Peds for years. My oldest is 15 yrs and my youngest is 2 yrs, so that tells you just how long we have trusted them with our family. Recently we went into the Pleasant Grove office for their after hours care. Which by the way is amazing!!! My 2,yr old was so sick and turned out he had burst his eardrum. They were so sweet and kind and took such good care of us. We also were in and out very quickly which is great when you have a very sick little guy. Dr Cox is incredible. He has gone above and beyond for us through the years. Once when my child was admitted to the hospital he gave me his personal cell phone to make sure he could stay informed and involved in my child's care. I had a different child who vomited daily for eleven days straight. We brought our kid to after hours care at Alpine Peds on day eight, but the Dr at that time did not do a thorough exam and dismissed it as the flu. When our kid did not improve we scheduled an appointment with Dr Cox because of his excellent clinical skills. I refused to see anyone else. Within an hour my kid was admitted to the hospital. He is thorough and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The office is super inviting for children and we very much appreciate that there are separate waiting rooms/playrooms for healthy kids and sick kids. Horrible horrible place ! For my new born check up these doctors don’t care at all they rush and say everything is okay! Just to go out and see them on their phone! Due to this my baby has a flat head ! I told him and he said it was normal that it wasn’t flat wentto a different doctor the next day and my new born will start doing treatment do to flat head! I hate these doctors why spend years to get a career just not to care about your patients specially newborns innocent babies ! What goes around comes around

I haven't had to visit Alpine Pediatrics for a real emergency, but I've had good experiences at all of my child's regular well-checks. The office is bright and cheery and I'm in and out relatively quickly. It's nice to not have to wait around at the doctor's office.

Alpine Pediatrics is great!! I used to go there when I was younger and now have friends who take their kids to their offices. Their doctors are all very knowledgeable, caring and nice. I have never felt like I am being talked to in a condescending manner and any and every concern I have ever had is taken care of then and there. If I need any follow up care, they are great about it and do everything they can to get it resolved. Their staff is great and their office has a seperate sick and well side, which is great if you don't want to have your kids exposed too much to coughs and such. They are great and I would definitely recommend their office to anyone I know.

Alpine pediatrics does not like it when parents make informed choices for their own children. I'm so sad to say we will be let go as patients as soon as my next child is due for their next government suggested vaccines. I recently took my daughter in to Jeff, a doctor that we have seen and loved for years at Alpine Pediatrics. He told me about the next vaccines (We have previously vaccinated our children) due in a year. When I asked if I could opt out, he didn't even flinch when he told me we would be dropped as patients. I'm extremely saddened that after 16 years of supportive and loving care, me making an informed decision for my family is cause to be dismissed.
