I'm not sure how Dr. Edgar as a neurologist as he is impossible to get an appointment with. We have been trying for months to get in to see him and appointments keep getting cancelled as he keeps deciding to not be in the office after we have appointments scheduled for that day. He blocks of weeks of time to not take appointments that are the best for families in order to not conflict with schooling. I have never experienced dealing with any specialist or physician where it has been this hard to be seen. And yet he is the only pediatric neurologist in NE Wisconsin

I was diagnosed with petite mal epilepsy when I was 9. Dr. Edgar (the pediatric neurologist at Prevea) was amazing! He made me feel comfortable with my disorder and stressed that even though I needed to make minor adjustments to my life, I could continue LIVING as a normal kid. Equally important, he put my parents' minds at ease. He told them all the components of my epilepsy in terms they could understand and answered all of their questions. My only regret is that I couldn't keep him as my neurologist once I turned 18. He is a big reason why I have the attitude I do today and the confidence to be successful without being paranoid about my condition. It's just a part of me that I accepted long ago, but largely due to him I don't let it slow me down. :)
