We've been on a long journey with our son and his ear. Dr. Martin has been there every step of the way and has been wonderful with taking our phone calls, answering questions, and engaging with our son. We are completely grateful for him!

Dr. Martin is a quack .... went to my first office visit he looked at my son's throat and said yes his tonsils are pretty inflamed he sat him up for a sleep study which was horrific for him as well I let them know that he's autistic and he has a few sensory issues did not matter at the sleep study but he did get some data that later required him to call me and tell me that my son needed his adenoids and tonsils took it out ASAP I personally ask about the CPAP machine he told me no that would not be suffice seeing how many times he stops breathing in his sleep and on top of that he has very low oxygen going to his brain when he sleep he diagnosed him with Osa obstructive sleep apnea we set up the surgery which was yesterday the 19th when I got there it was a different story he wanted to do a test.... first things first I do not like the fact that you cannot be with your child when they wake up nor when they prep him saying they would like to keep him safe! I was told that the test was going to start at 110 and end at 2:40! Doctor Martin did not come get my son until after 2:30 by 2:35 he was back in the lobby where they had me pull me into a room to inform me that he is not doing his surgery he's pretty much chalking it up to his weight which is fine and understandable but he had already told me before no matter what he needs to have this surgery its whats best for him he suggested maybe the cpap machine will help or maybe some brac that he puts in his mouth when he sleeps to pull his jaw forward now he is a ear nose and throat specialist where he could prescribe those things himself but did not he nonchalantly and impatiently brush me off to a Sleep Clinic... I also dont understand how Doctor Martin was able to properly get the data he needed for the test within 5 minutes or so where I was told it started at 110 ..2 40 long story short I was told one thing was going to happen and something else happened sent my son home with nothing he is still not breathing in his sleep properly while I was in the waiting room waiting for my son to come out of recovery so I can see him I called quite a few ear nose and throat specialist I actually got in contact with one and ask him for his professional opinion I explained to him that my son has OSA just found out all of a sudden his doctor is not doing the procedure which was taking out his tonsils and adenoids do to his doctor chalking it up being his weight and the other ENT specialist told me that no matter what he should at least took out his adenoids because it will give him some type of relief and then I will set you up with a nutritionist to start a plan for weight loss for your son!! And a cpap because at the end of the day he's not breathing properly in those two things alone will give him a lot of relief!..... what was the point of putting me and my son through all of that pain... I feel like I just brought him there to be a lab monkey they literally evaluated my son in this test all of 5-10 minutes being a stretch and then walked around as if it wasn't anything he's the one who called me and told me that my son stop breathing many times in his sleep and have very low oxygen flow to his brain and needed to do the surgery ASAP I feel like he was being lazy nonchalant Moody and unprofessional.....TEARS!!!!!!!!

What a fantastic doctor and a kind man. Our 5 year old had adenoid and tonsil surgery as well as ear tubes inserted. He was so pleasant, answered all our questions, and he even said that we could call him anytime as our daughter recovered. I cannot praise him enough. You will be in very good hands with Dr. Martin.

Dr. Martin was very kind and understanding. My 14 month old needed tubes in both ears. He explained everything to us and gave good examples and even showed us the actual tubes. Of course the ideal of any surgery is scary. I was comfortable with Dr. Martin. My little one even reached out to him and gave him a hug. Surgery went fine, it was fast and successful. Big shout out to the staff at Childrens as well. They all were very nice and imformative. Thanks again. 3-16-17. Happy family.

Dr. Martin performed surgery on my son's ear drum and screwed up while placing the tube. He cut too wide or too deep. One of the techs in the operating room got so nervous she poked herself with a knife. My son's ear had blood coming out of it and the doctor told me my son may need a skin graft for his eardrum in the future. My son has been experiencing extreme sensitivity to loud noises and constant ringing in that ear ever since. Martin should not be practicing or referring to himself as a doctor. I hope that my comment can save other parents the heartache.
