I have 4 children and have worked with 4 different pediatricians, and Dr. Melbye was The Best. I'm so sad we moved away and are unable to see him anymore. He was gentle, thorough and took his time with us, and he never made me feel bad about my new mom questions many years ago. I'll never forget the time he called me after hours on a Friday night because he had been researching a question I had about my oldest daughter. He really goes above and beyond. He is probably the most careful and intelligent doctor I've worked with. Ignore the bad review here; eczema is a difficult skin disease and rarely responds to treatment (I have two daughters with skin issues). If you're lucky enough to be close to Bayshore Pediatrics, then you're luckier than me!

Dr. Melbye always takes his time with our twin toddlers, making sure to answer all of our questions.

He sucks as a Doctor. My daughter has eczema a very bad case of it and he kept prescribing her this cream that did not work for her at all. The scarring from her scratching the eczema became worst and he did nothing. I changed her Doctor right away and hell no I would not recommend any parent to take part in his sad ass practices
