We love the nurse practitioner carol Oliver. She is wonderful with my 3 kids and very patient with my daughter who isn't the easiest to look at. She fights every doctor and nurse who even juat trying to get a temp reading. There has only been a few times that they couldn't fit us in and sent us to urgent care. CRol Oliver's even asks about the other children when they aren't with me when Im bringing in the one of the other children. I took my new born in for a weight check and she already knew my oldest son had his surgery and sent a care package home for him. We have seen some of the other doctors in the office and they were good and friendly but i would still recommend carol Oliver she is wonderful.

Staff called my old phone number to cancel a visit for my son. He needed his vaccines for his one year visit but the office canceled without sending a cancelation through WV MyChart so I took off work to go to the office to be fed a whole lot of bs. We're changing doctors ASAP to find a staff that actually cares.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I have had a wonderful experience with University Pediatrics! The doctors are all amazing with my 2 children and they really take the time to listen and answer questions. The practice is associated with the hospital, which has it's pros and cons but I think more pros. The doctors spend time at the hospital, learning and experiencing more and more. This does occasionally mean you have to schedule with a different doc or a different week, but since they are all wonderful it doesn't really matter. Personally, we see Dr. Chaiban most often and my kids adore her. I also really appreciate that the scheduling staff are always flexible and patient and we get a reminder phone call before each appointment so I don't forget.

If I could give less than 1, I would! Several times they have pushed us off and told us to go to the urgent care because they don’t have time. Also told me I would need to call back tomorrow to make a sick day appointment..because they were closing. The being told to call back has happened on several occasions.

The doctors here ar NEVER there. They have rescheduled appointments for my newborn 3 times without reason. This is ridiculous! Doctors seem to always be out of the country.

I went here as a patient when I was a child and took my own children here. I am sad to see how much it has changed. They care less about the patients, and their well being. Dr. Wear was the best part and only reason we stayed here. I would NOT recommend their nurse practitioner - Carol Oliver. By far the worst provider we saw there. We were sent to Morgantown for a procedure that my daughter could have went across the street for. Very unprofessional in her behavior and look. It is very hard to get in to a see a doctor, most of the time they turn you away to Urgent care. I’ve never had a doctor recommend to come in for a test and when you go in the nurse practitioner turns you away because she didn’t see you, even though you were told to return for a test. My advice would be to go to Winchester or any other but here.
