The ER is a absolute night mare I felt judged and was left for 10 hours to sit no one checked on me. I was diregaurdes as trash and was just given a paper and was discharged no one talked or explained my condition just so mad I do not recomend this place to anyone To me I was so mad absoulty horrible place

When my husband needed emergency surgery and ended up the hospital for a week, the staff were kind, compassionate and very thorough in letting us know what was next in his recovery.

I had hoped that since WVU had taken over this hospital it would be a “better” choice for the ER. I wish I could give the nurses 5 stars because they were so nice. Even though my nurse called my RA arthritis (it is not even close to arthritis) once I clarified she pulled it up on her computer and she said “I didn’t know it affected all that.” BUT she was very kind and I sincerely liked her. The doctor however.....just wow. He took X-rays of my wrist. That’s it. Great no broken bones. But if you don’t even look at it, let alone examine it, how are you going to know if there’s ligament, tendon or nerve damageI felt and heard a tear and a pop. So whatever man, I’m agoraphobic I don’t leave the house for some minor boo boo. My pulse alone should have raised s red flag it was 116! Resting! It’s never that high! I asked him twice about the possibility of a blood clot and he said “it doesn’t work that way”. I said “If you say so”. I’m almost certain I’ll end up needing an MRI eventually. Gah. How are you going to examine a patient with a busted arm and wrist if you don’t even check for range of motion?! Also. Kind of sucked they took me with a bum wrist and a lady with a broken toe ahead of a little boy who had wrecked a four wheeler. He was shivering! I don’t think that’s how triage works, but what do I know.

Very poorly managed/operated. There are a few good nurses, but they seem few & far between. Very unhappy with my experience here & suggest going somewhere else if at all possible.

The staff here have always been incredibly nice to me, and the ER is fantastic. I never feel forgotten, and I always feel like I'm being listened to. Definitely recommend!

The hospital staff is very kind and helpful. The facility is looking better and is a comfortable, welcoming space. It is unfortunate that during my visit they accepted no debit/credit cards for the cafeteria, vending area, or gift shop. There was an ATM on sites but it was out of order. This was an inconvenience for me, since as per usual I had no cash on me. Otherwise, it's a nice little hospital.

No one at emergency registration when my mother arrived as triage patient twice within 24 hours. And when she did see my parents at the desk she didn't come out for another 5 minutes. Night shift is terrible.

My husband had a hip replacement and Dr. Myers was amazing took his time to explain everything, the nursing staff was also very helpful and kind. Some parts of the hospital needs a little TLC but most importantly it was clean.

This emergency department isn't my first choice. I wouldn't recommend going here if you're young and have a legitimate health concern. I was diagnosed with a condition involving my brain, and I had to all but stand on my head for them to take me seriously to discover this. The doctor working that day admitted to me that he didn't want to do a CT scan but that he was glad he did because he caught my condition. In essence, they thought I was drug seeking or faking illness. The nurses are the only ones who I felt comfortable with and who listened to me without making me feel judged.

Best Labor and Delivery unit I've experienced!! I gave birth to my 5th child child here and Reynold's has already surpassed Wheeling Hospital and OVMC in every regard. I truly feel like every employee I've encountered, whether they were a doctor, nurse, housekeeping, or dietary aide, genuinely cared for me as a patient and took their job seriously. The labor and delivery unit was peaceful, welcoming, very clean and allowed you to make decisions on how your stay went, not the other way around. The nurses on labor and delivery were absolutely wonderful and made each minute of my stay comfortable. Dr. Nicole Carlson is a fabulous OBGYN and she truly cares for her patients. I can't say enough how appreciative I am for all the care I received. I will be sticking with Reynold's for all my medical care.

Was 13 minutes late for my appointment with Dr.. Lawerance in her office .I called in at 9;55 to tell them I was just leaving Wheeling and I was on my way, I was told to hold on. Three minutes later I was told there NEW policy was if you ten minutes late you would have to reschedule. There previous policy was 15 minutes So I arrive at 10;13. and the women at the desk told me to wait, then proceded to ask me if i was a little annoyed, and I stated yes a little bit, She then proceded to ask me do I let people come in to my restaurant 10 minutes late, my jay dropped!! My reply to her was that My business had nothing to do with health care,that at doctors office, Rude in her poor judgement. I said 'I am not leaving . at that her next comment was well get comfy for awhile in a tone that was defiant to the point that she meant i would be waiting a long time intentionally on her behalf.and just because she think she can deny a patient health car for being 3 minutes late, I urge anyone going to this office to find another office to supply your health issues. They claim they have too many patients, and not enough time to take the proper care of them. But if your only 10 minutes late they let you stay to see the doctor, but not before having to sit in there dirty waiting room 30-45 minutes. Do not go to this hospital group, they are greedy for the insurance money from hard working locals, STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
