Dr. Tomlinson is a good doctor who ensures I'm taken care of. He makes his patients feel like they are an important priority and that he truly cares. He takes the time to listen to you and explains everything so it can be easily understood. Dr. Armstrong was my family doctor when I was young, and he is still my mother's primary care physician. She is very happy with him. I'd highly recommend either of these doctors.

This is a place that prioritizes its patients above all else, and really what more can you ask for? I have had the pleasure of going into appointments with Nurse Practitioner Janel Nuzum, and I have no complaints whatsoever. If I'm confused about some aspect of whatever medicine it may be, or just have questions, Janel is always at the ready with answers. It's made to feel personal, friendly, and all in all, she shows she cares not only about her work, but the well-being of those she sees on a day to day basis. I definitely recommend this facility for your healthcare needs.

I have no complaints with Garfied Pediatrics Doctors. My complaint is with one of their Nurse Practitioners, Janel Nuzum. She pushes expensive medications. Discounts patient history and personal experience with medications and ability to pay for the expensive drugs she recommends. She has insisted for several months that I take a medication that costs $1,450 a month. After my insurance pays $150 and the pharmaceutical company offers a $600 discount that still leaves a staggering $700 I could never pay. She was wanting to replace a $4 mood stabilizer with a $1,450 drug for schizophrenia which I'm not even diagnosed with. The problem was my antidepressant had stopped working after 2 years and I ask her to change back to one that had worked for me in the past. This is common with antidepressants. She refused and dropped me as a patient for not agreeing to take the $1,450 medication and also claimed changing my antidepressant was not in my best interest. The very next week I went to see a REAL Dr., a local Pychiatrist that changed my antidepressant to what I had ask for and kept my mood stabilizer as it was. Feeling great. It just makes me wonder who's best interest was really being looked out for at Garfield?
