I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Haricharan and his entire staff at Women's & Children's Hospital. Our family was treated better than most of our own family members have treated us. Unfortunately, the circumstances that led us to the pediatric surgery was very stressful and hard on our family while first trying to diagnose the issue, then actually having the right combination of surgery, surgeons for expertise in this particular field of study, and follow-ups that have gone uneventful-- thanks to the care that only a prayer could explain. When a five year old is set for emergency kidney surgery, there are no actual 'experts' or doctors in our area set up to take on such a case, and the office offers to do this surgery as a gift- because we were without any insurance at the time- on top of the over abundance of patience and cordiality extended to us. When you are usually talked to in the medical field- we were actually talked with, and treated with respect and the complete lack of a condescending nature! He was the most decent and warm surgeons, or any man, actually that I have ever met. Still cannot say I have met a more noble and caring person, without an ego or prideful nature anywhere in relation to his reputation or mannerisms in speaking with the well-educated parent of a patient to the sometimes dense holler folk from up the Creek. He has saw all sides of our family members, and never strayed in character.
