We've taken our daughter to Dr. Al-Attar since the day she came home from the hospital and I'm so glad we chose her as our pediatrician. Not all pediatricians are comfortable treating premature babies because they have their own set of problems but Dr. Al-Attar has been amazing. Unlike a lot of drs, she actually takes the time to listen to our concerns and addresses them. She's great with our little girl and her staff is the friendliest and most competent office staff I've ever known to work for any dr. We've never had a problem with scheduling, even at the last minute. Wait times are completely reasonable and, from what I've heard from other parents, far shorter than some of the other pediatricians in the area. We've never had to wait more than an hour to be seen where some of the others can often be as much as 3-4 hours behind schedule. She's friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Her staff are so, so nice and they've never once been rude or messed up an appointment. We love everything about Dr Al-Attar and her practice and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician, especially if you have a preemie like us.

Let me just say this doctor doesn’t even deserve 1 star but that’s the only way I can write this review. I had my baby in Sept. at PCH (I will never go back to that hospital, even if I’m dying) Dr. Al Attar is a wretched, pitiful excuse of a pediatrician. They kept my baby in the hospital for a month with severe diarrhea and excoriation, they never could tell me what was wrong with my child even though I begged the nurses to do more tests or consider something else. One of the nurses chalked it up to a milk allergy and made me stop breastfeeding only to switch her to milk based formula where she broke out even more on that just to tell me “maybe” it’s a milk allergy.. my baby is 3 months old and I just found out from another pediatrician that she has had c.diff for the past 2 and a half months that she contracted from that hell hole hospital. Not once did I see any of the nurses wear gloves or wash their hands.My baby laid up in that hospital for a month and those idiots never thought of testing her stool? Are you kidding me. Poor excuse for human beings one nurse told me my baby was a holy terror and I needed to be up there 24/7 with her dr al attar told me the same thing. They need to seek other jobs because they were absolutely awful to me and my child there were maybe a couple nurses that were okay but not many. I wouldn’t recommend delivering at PCH unless you want a bad CDI... that was my experience with these people and this so called Dr. She was a witch... now my baby continues to suffer and we continue to battle this difficult, nasty, heartbreaking infection...thanks dr. alattar, you’re one of the worst human beings I’ve ever came across.

She's a great doctor with nice staff, however you're wait times are generally between a half hour to two hours before you get called back to a room.

I absolutely love Dr. Al-Attar and so does my kids. She has always been extremely great with all 3 of my kids they have been with her since they where born. My oldest is almost 18. If she doesn't know she will not play around and play a guessing game. She will send you to someone that may know a little more or who specializes in the area of concern. I have never questioned her care for my kids. You can tell she truly loves and cares for her patients. Dr. Al-Attar also has some wonderful office staff too.

Absolutely the best pediatrician to walk this earth. She was mine as a child and now she is my daughters. I like the fact that she is very thorough, and if she has a concern she will check it out or make referrals that need to be made. I don’t mind the wait at the office if it means good quality healthcare for my child. And most of the time I don’t wait long at all.
