Shortly after moving to the area my young son was hospitalized. Dr. Pommer sees my nieces and nephews and gladly accepted my kids into his practice as well. Our in hospital care and coordination was amazing and our follow up care since then has been great! The front office staff is friendly and helpful and Linda and Dr. Pommer are a great team. We couldn't be happier with our family's care here!

Dr. Pommer is very attentive and knowledgeable. He is kind and genuinely cares for his patients. His Nurse Linda is fun, kind, and very efficient. We''ve been able to get an appointment in a timely manner and have been seen same day for emergencies. My family feels super blessed to have a wonderful primary care provider right here in Selah.

Extremely disappointed in the care my husband experienced here. The doctor was very passive, the communication was absolutely awful. They put in their notes that they’d call us with test results but never called and if they did, it was never the right phone number. It took weeks to get a simple referral. We had to call multiple times just to get answers. It got to the point that we have searched for new medical care. The patients do not seem to be their priority. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Shawnee Olson

Called to inquire if new patients were being accepted, got transferred around for a simple question and then was told no. I have a feeling I dodged a bullet here, thanks for the rudeness.

Caralee Thamason

Not a good experience with people in medical "care" field.

Godfrey k. Lule

Like that the doctors are personable...allows for good relationships to be cultivated.

Our whole family goes to Selah Family Medicine. Dr. Pommer sees our four children, and we couldn't be happier with the care received. Nursing staff is excellent and personable as well. A great experience every time for us so far.

I've been calling there more than a week trying to get a simple question answered. I am put on hold repeatedly, with that godawful music that keeps cutting in and out. My phone keeps track of how long I've been on and more than 3 times I've hung up after being on hold for more than 15 minutes. When I do get through I have to explain my issue to strangers again and again, so they can tell me someone is going to get back to me. Still hasn't happened.

Saw a different Dr than normal, which was a good visit. Had a script sent in, took me awhile to actually go to the pharmacy to pick it up. When I did (2 weeks later) there was no script that had been called in. Clinic was already closed, so I had to wait till next day to call and inquire. When I did get through, receptionist beat around the Bush, trying not to let me know it hadn't been sent. I called her on this, she stuck to figuring out my chart and to which pharmacy it would be. So apparently none of what we discussed in the appt was documented and dealt with. And no apologies were offered for the mishap. This is very disheartening to know where I go for primary care lacks in the care this much. As well as it being a vmm clinic I expect more.

I'm new to the area searching for a primary care, but also presently in need of medical assistance. I've called the office, (which is the only one accepting new patients) three times, Tue., Wed., and Friday in the last week and no return calls. Wouldn't be such a problem, however there aren't any other clinics accepting new patients, and I am disabled looking for an office as nearby as possible. Disappointing experience so far.
