REVIEWS OF Mill Creek Family Practice IN Washington

I and my family have been visiting this clinic and Dr. Anderson for several years and cannot be more pleased. The wait time has always been quite short even with last minute appointments. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I have never felt rushed and Dr. Anderson has always taken as much time as necessary to address any problems or answer any questions I might have. The few negative reviews posted here truly puzzle me as they do not accurately depict any of my numerous visits over the years. You simply can't do better.

Been going here for years. Great family practice. The staff is friendly and can usually get you in day of, if you are willing to see any doctor.

I just moved to WA and was struggling to find a primary care doc that had decent ratings. When I called Mill Creek Family Practice, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience in scheduling an appointment. The woman at the front desk was helpful and kind. She was even able to schedule me within the same week as a first-time patient. I went in today and had my appointment with Dr. Rigel. He was so friendly & personable. He actually conversed with me and answered my questions, which is a rarity in the medical field these days. Dr. Rigel seemed like such a down-to-earth person who really knows his stuff. All this to say, I was very happy with my experience and now am at ease knowing that I have a PCP here in WA

Note: I sent a notice (including this review) to the entire Practice three weeks prior to posting this review. At no point did the practice reach out to me to address this problem. This is the type of care you should expect if you decide to be a patient at the clinic. I was a patient at the Mill Creek Family Practice for 32 years. My first doctor was my next door neighbor and the guy that they literally named the building after. Throughout all the years I was willing to accept some of the frustrating things about being a patient (mainly that you never actually see he doctor at the time of your appointment) because they generally seemed like they cared for their patients. Unfortunately, I will no longer be using MCFP as my health care provider due to a mistake they made in March 2018 that cost me $1,800. I came in with a request for a blood test and was prescribed a non-standard test as my only option. At no point did my doctor inform me that there were other more standard tests available. When my insurance denied my claim and I asked what I could have done to prevent that problem I was told things like “you got the test results you needed” and “we decided a more in-depth test was necessary because of what was involved”. None of these are accurate and at no point would they admit that they may have made a mistake. It is a shame when you have to walk away from a place you partnered with for the majority of your life. However, I would caution anyone considering using their service to understand that when push comes to shove they are going to leave you stranded with an enormous bill that was caused due to their practice of not providing you with informed consent on options (options that are standard) that might be available to you.

New patient today (4/14/17), wonderful experience with the entire staff. The doctor and nurse listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. The doctor was late 15 minutes because of a sudden emergency appointment, for which she apologized for. I was only being seen for a Annual wellness check up so I had no problem waiting 15mins extra. I will update again on my next visit.

This was my first visit here. I saw Dr. Anderson. He was so great. He made me fell so comfortable with my issues. He listened to all my problems and even told me a story about himself pertaining to my issues that made me feel very at ease. He is a very good Dr. And really seemd like he cares and knows what he is doing. I'm glad I found a new Dr.

One of the best groups I've ever incountered. Dr. Heron is one of the best caregivers I've ever had.

I was seen here for the first time at the walk in clinic on March 10, 16 . The waiting time was posted for an hour and a half but I was seen in about 20 minutes. The receptionist there were very professional and polite and the check in time was very fast. The waiting room was clean and things were very good being that I was in tremendous back pain. My nurse took me to my room in a timely manner updated my history and Not long after, Dr Shon came in to see what he could do to help me. I'm very glad that he took the time to listen to what I had to say about my pains and in turn I was very glad to hear the instruction he gave to me. Thank You Dr Sammy Shon and the walkin clinic Staff at the 12800 Providence for making a painful day turn out to be a beautiful day for me.

Only giving 2 stars because of Dr. Stukovsky. He's a great doctor and very professional but my husband always feels rushed during his appointment (literally just 5-10 minutes). You really don't feel service worth for the money they charge you for. Regarding Mill Creek Family Practice, this office needs to come to 2018 now. They're extremely slow regarding processing and communication. They don't have online portal for anything, everything needs to done physically or via phone call which is ridiculous. We have to wait for weeks to get any results from the lab. We'll be looking at different place so that our money will be worth spent on someplace better.

From the counter folks, the PA, the MA I am more than comfortable. Dr Herron always listens to my concerns and actually will try and go with what test I feel is necessary. I asked for a blood test for one thing and another, more dangerous symptom came back, but I'm good to go now. If Dr. Herron is not available, the other doctors step in without a problem and take care of the situation that could not wait. I highly recommend this clinic as they are open 7 days a week. Try and get that with any other clinic in the Pac NW!

The medical care and general interaction with the Mcfp staff is just fantastic. Highly recommended establishment.

Our primary care physician is Dr. Anderson. He has always taken a serious interest in my families health. We have been seeing him and the other doctors for years and intent to stay. I feel well cared for.

Robert Wood

The doctors here are truly one of a kind and have been giving my family incredible care over the years.

Started coming here a few years ago to get away from the rush you in and out group health like doctors. Over the last year they are late more often than not even now I am nearly an hour past my appointment. They won't tell you they are running late they just expect you to wait around until they call you.

My babysitter became ill and I had to cancel day of. They charged me $50.00. At no point in making my appointment did the receptionist tell me that if the appointment was cancelled that they would charge me. Doing that only hurts the good people that come to your office- Good people pay it and never return, Bad people don't pay it and never return. I called early in the morning to cancel and my appointment wasn't until the afternoon.

I was surprised to see all the negative reviews of Mill Creek Family Practice. I have been going to them since 2004, when I first moved to Snohomish County with my husband, Brian. I have never had a long wait, and I have been at various times of day. They were very kind and understanding when I got sick with an autoimmune condition, and they helped get to the right specialists. I finally had a new baby girl in November, and I LOVE Dr. Herron, Dr. Bacon, Dr. Anderson, and Dr. Stukovsky. I am a total rookie when it comes to figuring out what is going on with my baby, and they have been very kind and educational when I have taken my daughter to see them. When my daughter got her two month vaccines, the MA was FABULOUS. She did two shots at once, and she was quick, so that my daughter barely cried at all. Anyway, that sucks that other people have had bad experiences. I have and will continue to take my family there. If you have weird medical conditions, I could understand maybe needing to go find specialists or internal medicine docs at VM or Swedish or some place like that. These guys are great for routine family care and colds and stuff like that.

We have been to this place for annual physical checkup. Initial steps were all done properly by the nurse and later after the doctor came in, we didnt even see the forms we filled out to discuss the issues we had. Instead we had to remind him everything and he just says they will order for blood tests. Even though my husband has thyroid, doctor said everything was normal. So we dont know what kind of tests did doctor ask them to do , as annual physical checkup includes all regular tests.

After our primary care give retired (60 years later) my husband, daughter (newborn), and immediate family all needed a new doctor. We have seen Dr. Stukovsky since our daughter was 3 days old, she is now 7 months. They are incredibly amazing and caring here. They do so well with her and our family. We love that he sees family members of all ages as it makes our visits nice and easy. His nurse is so kind and gentle with our little girl. They do a great job at not only giving us our medical care needed at each 2 month interval but they also give us insight and answer tedious questions for us being 1st time parents. We love it here!

Tony Mangefeste

Been with then for almost a decade. We see them from everything from pediatrics to internal medicine. Love the clinic and staff.

Kyle Martel

They don't take insurance for auto accidents. Kind of lame if you ask me.

My wife and I have been using M.C.F.P. for over 15 years and have developed strong opinions about their organization. Our physician is Dr. Kevin Herron and since he is the only Doctor that we have seen on a regular visit, he is the physician covered in this review. The staff is always friendly and interacts with warmth and concern. This includes those at the reception desk; the imaging department; and the physician's assistants. Dr. Herron is totally uninfected with the dreaded MD (Minor Deity) Disease. In all of our appointments we always feel like we are visiting a good friend who is both glad to see us and eager to hear what we have to say about our health. He describes himself as a "coach" and I agree. He allows both my wife and me to contribute to the process as we address our health concerns. Thanks to all of the staff.

I’ve gone here since I was a little kid, and to this day have never experienced anything that I could qualify as a “bad experience”. You can tell the employees care for their patients/customers.

Gabe Briseno

Horrible, they charme more than 700 for obe visit , not included the lab work not to mention that I have insurance other wise a would pay more. Ill never come back there.

I have never seen such lack of compassion or empathy from a medical billing department in my life. Not to mention a MAJOR part of office management, communication and record keeping! Due to this, they just lost 9 patients from our family. To try and sum it up, my daughter just had a baby 5 months ago and received service there for her baby to get circumsized at around one month old. She received two bills from them and SHE called them and informed them she was on maternity leave for 4 months and was the major breadwinner in her household and that she would be paying the bill promptly when she returned to work in 4 weeks. (the women she spoke with was very rude to her) They had no record of this , but she did. She has been an office manager for 11 years and knows how to keep records. Without any warning whatsoever she received a certified letter that stated she was turned into collections and she could no longer be a patient there! Mind you, this is the day that she was going to be paying the $200 bill. I have never known a company, that didn't give you some type of warning that you were being turned into collections. This office is unbelievably heartless and has an inefficient office management team. And you can't tell me the doctors don't know about how they run there billing department, because they are the ones ultimately in charge of the office..... Think twice about going here, you'll be glad you did.

Dr. Price is great and the nurses are too. Very happy with all my experiences here in the last 8 years. Convenient location. The office has a pharmacy, and the ability to take X-Rays and blood samples on-site.

Kimberly Horton

Myself and my kids have been patients at Millcreek Family Practice for almost 30 years. The receptionists are very nice and if for any reason there is a wait they let me know and it's only a few minutes. I don't mind because that means there is a patient before me that needed extra time and care. I would rather see a doctor who is going to give that care to their patients. I have my particular favorite doctor and nurse however all of the doctors are good there. MCFP has several doctors with different specialties they have welcomed to their practice. Wifi and Patient portal are available. There is an Imaging and blood work department. They care about their patients and that's why I have a 30 year history with them.

Sara Beatty

I have been there twice now. Both times I have had to call them for lab results. I work in urgent care and know how good customer service works. The provider seemed to care but promised services that were not delivered. For instance, I was told to call the same day to make an appt w speciality and get in as soon as possible. Then was informed after calling 2 days later that referrals take 72hrs and was asked where I was going and wanted address and fax. They r the ones that referred me to the specific specialist. There was no after visit summary, to remember everything she told me to do, especially because your overwhelmed w what could be going on with you, a summary of clinical interaction w provider is imperative. Lastly, when I called for lab results was told they just send results to my address. I was told they would call me w results. To most people lab work and medical abbreviations mean absolutely nothing. Front desk says, "well if nothing is to terrible we just send a letter." This is frustrating to hear to say the least. A call from medical staff is expected to make sure u understand and dont have any questions..

They miss diagnosed my babys airway defect for over a year. Even after he stopped breathing at a week old. They told us 6 different times that it was just a cold. Thankfully he survived. Our new pediatrician actually listened and diagnosed him in 5 min.

Tony Roma

I have seen more than one doctor at this office, and while Dr. Price is great, Dr. Anderson is a joke. I asked him about side effects, which he said were nothing serious, and later on, I found out the medicine he prescribed has very serious side effects, including possible cancer! Not only that, he did not want to spend more than 5 minutes. I knew from previous visits to this clinic they like to rush patients out, usually within 10 minutes, but Dr. Anderson was simply something else. They seem to not understand, that insurance companies only allow many patients a few doctor visits per year, or else the patient has to pay the entire charge out of pocket, so spending an an extra 5 minutes, or giving the patient 15 minutes total (what they pay for), seems reasonable. Hopefully, he was just having a bad day.

Nate Ler

Dr. Price is my favorite. He is a down to earth normal guy that is easy to talk to. He address's your concerns and gets on your way in short order. Just the type of doctor I want.

Todd O'Toole

They told me over the phone they do ADD/ADHD evaluations, when I got there the Dr. didn't even look at the ADD form they had me fill out and basically said they don't do evaluations like that and told me to go somewhere else. I feel like they robbed me of my money. Would not go there again unless it was only for typical primary care.

Yusuf Scott

This is a good clinic that offers a number of sevices. The staff and doctors are friendly and caring. They also offer free wifi and a charging bar for your wait.
