The doctors are great and the service as well, but get ready for the two ladies at front desk, they’re pretty rude, it’s like they get bothered for us parents to ask questions or call on the phone. They supposed to be polite since they’re the image of the institution.

This office is bright, clean, happy, warm/friendly/welcoming, everything you could hope for when you first walk in. The staff from the front desk to the nurses and doctors are all kind and friendly, and seem to genuinely care for you and your child. The doctor we saw was Dr. Fontana and she is everything I was hoping for in a pediatrician. Practical, sensible (clicks well with my personality), friendly, engaged, great with my daughter who hates going to the doctor. She listened to me, took me seriously, and made me confident that my first instinct to have her as our pediatrician is the correct one. I haven't met the other pediatrician but I am confident that if Dr. Fontana isn't available one day, that we will be well taken care of. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love this practice. They are always willing to work us in and always provide adequate time spent with us and our children. All of our concerns and/or questions are addressed in not only a professional manner but from one parent to another. Our children love both physicians that they see and that makes visits so much easier knowing they are comfortable and at ease with them both. We love not having to worry about seeing someone new each time. The front desk staff are always helpful and polite as well. The nurses are gentle and patient as well!

So far everything with the doctors has been great! Just wish there was a better check out process so I didn't always walk out and forget to schedule the next appt. or follow up until I'm in the car already!

We have been with this practice for over two years and have really appreciated every single experience. They genuinely care about the children and have always been prompt with everything that they do. Both Dr. Wadsworth and Dr. Fontana show compassion for the children and they listen to the concerns of the parents!

It really doesn't get any better than them! We have been going to Premier with our son for almost 3 years, and working with Dr. Fontana has been nothing short of awesome. Professional, easy to talk with, and friendly nurses and receptionists make it an enjoyable visit every time! Plus, we've always been able to get an appointment within the week that we call. I refer people to them from the Eastern Shore all the time...if they can get over the distance they'd have to travel. But it's worth it!

I have been coming here for about 2.5 years I love the doctor we see but when we have had emergency during business hours they never made the time to schedule us in I had to take my children to the ER & wait longer. Also when we did get there early we ended up waiting unless you have a newborn baby they bring you in the room right away but most of the time you end up waiting for the nurse to come in the doctor would come in shortly afterwards. Today I had a lot going on my appointment was at 11 got in the building at 11:17 didn’t care that I was here I had to change my daughter in the car & put her shoes on saw I had my baby & toddler with me that wasn’t listening still didn’t understand told me because I’m passed the 15 min being late by an extra 2mins told me to reschedule!!! But when I went For my daughters 2 month check up this month Feb 10 we were in the room waiting 20 ish mins before the nurse came in to introduce herself & everything else took use a little over an out for a simple 2 month check up till we left. I’m very unhappy!!! They didn’t see that I was in distress & all they could say was we can’t do anything you need to reschedule!!! I’m going to find someone that actually cares about my kids!! I wish that I never moved from Richmond they also cared even if I was a few mins extra late they were understanding because it didn’t happen all the time even if I waited in the waiting room a few mins extra till they got us in but they would just straight up tell you “ you need to reschedule “ I drive from Norfolk to come here even after we moved from va beach” very unhappy!!!

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at Premier Pediatrics with Dr. Fontana. We were looking for a new PCP for my stepson; someone that would take extra care as he is very sensitive, anxious, and scared of new things, and always very nervous for any healthcare appointment. The nurse was not very consoling when he was crying when we were first called back. We did not feel that Dr. Fontana took the time to asses our child or get to know him or his needs at all. She quickly picked up that he has a slight speech impediment and focused on that along with nutrition (he is a very picky eater), and never once asked us if we had any questions or concerns (we had a list). It felt very rushed, and the main things we went in to seek professional opinion for were rushed at the end as she was basically ready to walk out the door. We will keep looking until we find someone who is willing to take the time to really assess, understand, and care for him; that most definitely was not Dr. Fontana.
