I was told it would be 9-12 months before anyone could even see my son with developmental issues. Not helpful!

My son has now been seen twice here, once for ear tube surgery and this time for Urology. I know that everybody has a different experience, but for me everyone from the check in staff, to the nurses, to the doctors and residents have been above and beyond accommodating, polite, and have all had great bedside manners. It can take a long time to get an appointment here, but seeing as the doctors are only here part time it makes it more understandable. Im grateful we have this location so close by.

The management and nursing staff is horrible. We waited for over an hour and half to see the doctor and not once did anyone apologize or offer an explanation. Even worse... this appointment was scheduled by our pediatrician who faxed over my son's medical records the week prior. When we finally did see someone, they asked why we were there and then couldn't find his records. Again, no apology and we had to contact our pediatrician to resend the information. Absolutely terrible service. Go someplace else!

I think the doctors are probably decent - can't say much since we only saw the doctor for 10 minutes. However, we show up for our 9am appointment, but we didn't get to see the doctor until 1030am. It is pediatrics!!! How can you make tiny people wait that long inside of 6 ft x 6 ft room? C'mon! The entire Office desperately need retraining on how to schedule appointments. Totally unacceptable

Terrible Dr shalinie khurana . Terrible staff. Over all experience was terrible speacialy with doctor khurana who was offensive rude and rushed me out because of Friday night probably she wanted to party .at first she called to cancel my appointment which I didn’t agree. Then she didn’t evaluate my child who has autism. Not professional. Don’t be fooled by the fancy building and facility.

Another fail for the front desk. I waited 10 months for an appointment. Got a text confirmation two days ago that I had one. Drove 50 miles across two counties to discover that someone had made a scheduling mistake and the doctor refused to see my daughter.

My daughter has been a patient at this practice for GI issues for almost a year. This office is nice, pretty, fancy, clean with lots of top notch equipment. The GI doc we saw was nice but honestly after a year of following her direction to just 'take miralax' every day while my daughters gut pain continued, I had to question our treatment plan and diagnosis of constipation. About 2 months ago my daughter had a terrible episode with her gut pain that landed us in the ER. Upon discharge, the ER doc said to to follow up within a week with our pediatric GI. So I called the practice to make an appt -as an existing patient- and was told sorry, nothing for you for the next 3 months. Even though I explained we had been in ER and needed a follow up, the best they could do was a PA appt in another city in 4 weeks. This is unacceptable. Decided it's time to just go elsewhere and get a second opinion. We saw Dr. Enav, pediatric GI in Fairfax just down the road and we have a diagnosis, diet plan, and my daughter is 100% better! The fancy practice looks great on the outside, but the time wasn't spent to really evaluate what was going on with my kid, and their follow up/patient care is really lacking. If you want a doc that really digs in to what is going on with your kids GI issues- go see Dr Enav.

We were seen in the ENT clinic today. We waited almost an hour past our appointment time before we were put in a room. I had to ask the office staff twice what was taking so long. There was no sense of urgency on anyone's part. Once we were finally in a room, we waited another 10 minutes to see the doctor, who then spent about 4 minutes with us. I would not recommend this place at all. The Physician's Assistant (Elizabeth, I believe) was very nice, and very helpful, but she seems to be the only one there who cares about her job and the patients. Before our appointment I also spoke with an office worker whose name was Arial. She was also extremely helpful and kept me informed about everything we needed to know prior to the appointment. But the office/nursing/scheduling staff were all sitting around on their cellphones. Making small children sit in a waiting room for over an hour is bad practice for a pediatric office. It's bad practice for any office. Totally unacceptable. Unfortunately, we are on a wailist to be seen at another ENT so we may end up having to be seen at this facility again. If you can go somewhere else, I would recommend it.

We had a great experience at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia Fairfax. Building was labeled and easy to find. Parking garage was free. Front office was friendly and helpful. Wait time was less than 10 minutes total. PA, Samantha Leahy was professional, friendly, attentive, reaffirming, helpful, and instructive. Left with knowledge of son's syndrome and what to do about it. Great, efficient and supportive, caring staff. Thank you again PSVF.

Not sure but to share my experience last time when I get there my scheduled appointment was cancelled by some one without any notification and the nurse - front disk were blaming each other. The waiting time is too long, you will be asked to be there at least 15 minutes prior appointment time but you will be waiting for 45 minutes with no reason.

I applied for the position of Medical Records Clerk last month, and a week later, I got an offer for a phone interview. After the interview, the employer was going to tell the manager, and I was going to get a reply within the same week. They were nice, but I never got a reply. I was very disappointed.

I have had great experiences with the neuro team. Some departments are easier to be seen than others. They return calls quick and the nurses are wonderful.

I believe it would be prudent for anyone considering using Dr. Jespersen to review the case decisions released by the Department of Health Professionals Board of Medicine. You might find that she has been investigated and reprimanded by the very group who is charged with keeping patients safe. Every word of this review is accurate, and quite frankly there is so much more I could add to it. Thank you for your response to my review however it does not matter which building-- (she has been through at least 3 different medical practices since I have known her--red flag) Dr. Jespersen destroyed my face. It appears she represents your business. It is my sole intent to inform people of the risk they are taking by entrusting their child to Dr. Jespersen, regardless of where she practices based on my experience. Dr. Renee Jespersen DESTROYED my face. Because of her carelessness, my face has literally been disfigured forever. During surgery, she cut my cheek, in the center of my face. The cut seeped fluid for about a week and a half as the stitches she put in came out. She then used further bad judgment and attempted to revise her first disaster and re-cut the initial incision far too soon creating a worse situation with swelling and bruising and a much larger scar than before. Mind you, this is in the middle of my face and I will have to live with it forever. In addition, she decided to make my medical information a topic of conversation at a cocktail party (I was not at that party) which is hugely unethical and a violation of my HIPAA rights. I strongly caution anyone who is considering sending a child to this surgeon to explore other options so they don't have to go through what I have been through. I haven't even scratched the surface of how awful the medical care was.I URGE you to go to the Department of medical professionals and check out Dr. Jespersesn.

GET NEW OFFICE STAFF, try hiring competence, training, or possibly needing more to help with workload.... Identify the problem and fix it quick. The last thing people with health issues want to do is deal with this. I got hung up on once, called back for Kim and was on hold for 15 minutes. I hung up and called again the lady put me on hold for 20 minutes to see if she could schedule me with out a referral picked up the line didn't say anything but just transferred me to according to the message, "phone number that is not in use". After an hour of more of the same.... no appointment scheduled. Will be going elsewhere becasuse this is not a good start to a doctor patient relationship. I would give it zero stars or negatives but that was not an option. I never write negative reviews so this was not easily earned on their part. Feels like they went out of their way to make the experience horrible. I read the prior reviews and didn't believe now I am one of them.... I highly doubt all the positive reviews.

My family recently moved into the area and needed a pediatric endocrinologist to manage my daughter's hypothyroidism. I'm not sure if the facility is too large and non-emergent patients fall through the cracks or if the systems in place are dysfunctional, but my family had a negative experience here. We struggled to obtain simple lab orders and multiple phone calls on the nurse's line were never returned. It was extremely frustrating to fight for good healthcare so we decided to try a different group. I feel like these mistakes are unacceptable when the growth and development of a child is at stake.

BEWARE of some nurses in this place. Angela Barnes is awful. I hope I never have to deal with her again. Rude and unprofessional.

No complaint about the doctor but the office management really needs to be fired for this one! We arrived on time to our appointment and they told us we had to reschedule because we were suppose to arrive 15 early to the appointment. They did not send out any notification about this change and they called me 2 days before to confirm and did not say anything about this change. WTH???? We live an hour away, we requested a day off from work and my kid had to miss half a day of school. The practice manager and clinic supervisor wouldn't even come out to discuss this "change" that they put in place. DONT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!! STAY AWAY!! What kind of reviews do they expect to have when patient's are treated this way??? They make an appointment, change the policy, don't tell anyone and we have to just deal with it??

The wait time was unacceptable, especially for a 22 month old toddler. Having a 10:05AM appointment, and not getting called until 11 is extremely frustrating. Once we were finally called, they needed my son to have a hearing exam. This could have easily been done while we were waiting. Instead, we had to wait again for the hearing exam. Finally got in to see the doctor at 11:45. Dr. Lawlor was nice and seemed extremely knowledgable. She made her medical recommendations. I received a call from the surgical coordinator to schedule ear tubes and adenoid removal, but the earliest appointment isn't until June 10! As my son gets frequent ear infections, I don't want to wait that long and have him on antibiotics more frequently than is necessary. I'll be taking my son to another provider that can accommodate him far sooner and presumably with a much shorter wait time in the office. To add to this, I received a bill from Children's hospital for the hearing exam 6 months after the appointment!!! How is a parent supposed to know that the audiologist is part of a different medical group than PSV when they are right next to each other in the same building on the same floor? I've spoken with Tracy, the office manager at PSV, and she's trying to be helpful, but unfortunately isn't able to do much to resolve the issue. I've gone to multiple ENT's, and had many hearing exams, and never been charged separately than the copay I have for the specialist visit. If they are going to send your child for a hearing exam that will be billed separately, IT NEEDS TO BE COMMUNICATED AT THAT TIME! I strongly encourage parents to find one of many other great ENT's in the area to avoid the unacceptable wait times and bureaucratic mess that exists here. It's stressful enough trying to take care of a sick child. The additional stress added by this place just makes it worse.

If you plan to visit a doctor's office be ready to spend 2-3 hours here, because of how crowded it is. There is a parking structure that fills up quickly, but it is free parking. This building does not have a cafeteria, if you want food you'll have to cross the street to another building on the lowest floor of that building you'll find a cafe. The doctors here are friendly and will always help you.

Dr Madigan (ophthalmology) was very good but I don’t agree with their policy that every new patient gets dilated. I was not told this until after the ‘drops’ were started and I couldn’t ask why it was needed? This was my first time there and I will not return. Just seems to be another reimbursement scam. My son had a slight vision correction and the visit should’ve stopped with Paris (who was great by the way.) He didn’t need it. ASK the parent if it’s ok to dilate a child’s eyes before it is done! His eyes are still dilated significantly 12 hours later. So it’s not like it’s a minor thing-who wants to have their eyes dilated? Google mentions that but staff said would be gone in 4-6 hours did not mention that.

The facility is poorly managed. Waited at least 6 months for a surgery date. The morning of the surgery they called and asked us to rush in since they had a cancellation. We rushed here during rush hour traffic and the person scheduled after us arrived right before us, so they let them in first. The staff was rude and unsympathetic to the fact we would now have to wait until after our scheduled time with a hungry 3 year old. All they needed to do was tell us that if we didn't arrive 15 minutes after they called us, there would be a chance that we would have to wait until after our scheduled time since they were calling everyone and telling them to come in extra early. The nurses and doctors that actually took care of my son were kind and professional.

Dr. Moores and Peggy Vollstad are an amazing team! Very compassionate, knowledge and highly capable surgeons. Dr. Varella was also highly competent and was able to help my daughter eliminate a blood clot quickly.

Doctor was fantastic. Staff were horrible. I was told that I needed to make an appointment for an EEGfterr our initial assessment. Stood in one line then told I had to go to another, fine there are 2 separate offices. Waited in line, they took my name and I was asked to sit and wait to be called. TWENTY minutes later I walk back over so they can see me. The woman who asked me to sit down said to the lady next to her "are you busy, she needs to make an appointment for an EEG?" Which was met with and "oh she can wait". So I walked closer. Then the she can wait lady motioned to the next person standing in line and proceeded to make an appointment for them. I was livid. Not only had I been there first, they were outright RUDE to my face. I had similar experience at Children's in DC but I thought a satellite office would have better staff. I shouldn't have been surprised.

The doctor we see in neurology is great.... The wait time to actually SPEAK to someone to schedule was ridiculous. Over 30 minutes waiting on hold.

Rheumatologogy department will not listen to your child or pay attention to their symptoms. Very dismissive of my child's pain.

The doctor are okay, but the management is horrible. When we call our doctor it takes weeks to here back. We also had to wait over two months for papers to be sent over to another office for treatment. Stay away
