My kids go to general booth branch located at princess anne (concert drive) and the wait is long once you've been seated in the examination room. the doctors are nice but wished the wait was shorter. overall okay experience

I take my 3 kids here and we love it. I never have a problem getting in for an appointment and the doctors are all very good with my kids. They also listen to my concerns and I never feel rushed.

I have been using General Booth pediatrics for almost three years and have always had decent experiences but recently my experiences with them have been TERRIBLE. At my daughters 12 months check up they did a vision test with a camera. Well she was squirming a little in my arms and the nurse said something like we will see if this works which lead me to believe it wasn’t a very good picture of her eyes. When the test came back as failing I was surprised because she seems to see everything from a distance and up close. I asked them to take it again since it literally only takes 5 seconds and the doctors response was “if we take it again you will just get the same results and glasses aren’t the end of the world.” I thought that was rude but whatever. I made an appontment for the eye doctor they referred me to. I had to take off work to take her since they are only opening during the day on weekdays. We had to wait 2 hours for her eyes to dialate and the eye doc said her vision was perfect! Even asked if maybe she wasn’t cooperating when they did the camera test. I said no she was squirming and GBP refused to take the picture again. So all because they didn’t want to take 5 seconds to do the test I missed 4 hours of work and was told glasses arent the worst thing by a condescending doctor.

I have had Dr. Mitchell with my twins since birth, they are now 7. Every appointment, well or sick, he has always been thorough. He has such a great demeanor and a way with the kids that only comes naturally. He listens to all of our concerns (as parents!) and addresses everything we ask about. The staff has always been top notch. Always accomodating and helpful. The new office is at a great location, the fact they have had two locations and to expand to a larger facility is even better. Dr. Mitchells nurse is amazing as well. He was great with my boys when we had our recent well visit. Patience is key and it's definitely here. I could continue writing so many good things about this practice...it would be a novel. Our kids have seen other doctors in this practice on other sick visits and seen equal results. I highly recommend this practice and will stay with CHKD for all my childrens needs. We have also been to the CHKD hospital, satellite centers and used other services provided by them (all referred by Dr. Mitchell). Start here...don't be afraid to ask any questions or bring up any concerns. You will be in good in hands.

Highly recommend Dr.Bazil, she is the only pediatrician I take my kids to. She has always been the doctor to call me personally to update me on ANYTHING that has to do with my kids instead of the nurse doing it, which makes me recommend her that much more. I love General Booth Pediatrics!

Getting a shot record is a pain...you can't just call in to request it. And when you make arrangements to spend your lunch break going to pick them up personally, they are in a meeting...and don't want to tell you about it ahead of time when you SPECIFICALLY ASK if they are going to be in the office during lunch hours. So be sure to work on getting those records way in advance.

The working staff is fine, they should really reconsider who they hire at the after hours call center. Completely rude and difficult.

I took my son to this location yesterday and definitely plan to go back. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable and the new office is beautiful. Anytime we need a sick appointment, they can usually get us in within the hour. I called yesterday morning at 9:30 and had an appointment at 10:20. I highly recommend this practice in general but especially THIS location. I plan to start bringing my son here even though it's a little further than their office on Concert Drive.

While I do like the doctor my children see, I do not like the fact that if I need to ask a non emergency question, I can never get to speak with the doctor. If I email the doctor, a nurse will receive it and respond. I don't want to speak with the nurse. I want to speak with the person I'm paying to take care of my children's health. I have visited other doctors where I was given their numbers. don't know what is so special about the doctors here. I guess they want you to pay to speak to the doctor. Not very nice. Tells me only concern is money..

We’ve had great experiences so far and always get scheduled easily. We’ve only needed one urgent care appt and we got in same day without an issue. I once had just a question for the nurses and had no issue getting through and the nurse I talked to was very helpful. We prefer the red mill location over the concert dr. Location but that’s just personal preference of liking things more low key. We generally try to see the same doctor but everyone we’ve seen have been great. Plus- they call my daughter beautiful- that helps right? Haha
