I just waited 20 minutes on the phone to get an appointment with my new PCP , only to be told that I can't get an appointment with her since I haven't seen her since I switched to her as my PCP six months ago. What in the world? Dr. Carmack was good. But CVFP is the pits. When I complained about the 20 minute wait, the person on the phone said "Well, this is a busy office!" Well, then hire more people!

Been going here for over twenty years, wouldn't go anywhere else. I have always felt like I was listened to, and my concerns and health always seems to be a high priority. They do a great job here across the board in my opinion and that is rare in the healthcare industry. I have several health problems that I have developed over the last five years and the doctors here have shown kindness, been thorough, and have always prioritized my needs and got to the bottom of what the cause of symptoms was, versus just trying to treat the symptoms themselves.

We had been waiting over 72 hours to get my fiances insulin filled. They (Amber and Vicky) claimed over the phone they took note that it was urgent (because he was totally out). We called everyday for three days to urgently try and obtain his insulin. We never got a call and they never sent the prescription to the pharmacy. We finally went in to get a physical prescription and when they checked the computer it said that no note or memo had been taken down that he was out of insulin.

Before moving to North Carolina I was a patient of forest family physicians for over 10 years. I found the practice to be extremely caring and helpful to me with my health concerns. My primary physician was dr. Jarrett Dodd. He took adequate time to hear my concerns and I did not feel rushed when I saw him.

Extremely caring staff. The doctors are very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about any ailments. Also easy to get either a next day or same day appointment.

After being a patient for more than 18 years, I am not able to set an appointment for my son! My son had been using this office as his primary care office for several years, and then moved to California. After returning to Forest VA, he has tried repeatedly to get an appointment at this office. Because medical records in CA are electronic and CVFP only accepts FAX records, my son has been denied as a patient here. All of his medical records for the past three years are local, but that is not enough. CVFP wants records that are impossible to get before they will see him. What a joke. My family will cut all ties with CVFP. What a shame.

Called to set up a new patient appointment and the lady I spoke with was very rude and spoke to me as if I was an idiot. Didn't even consider going to them after the initial phone conversation.
