I have interacted with Lee Davis Pediatrics both as a patient and the parent of patients. When I was a patient at Lee Davis Pediatrics it was under the care of Dr. Brennan and Nurse Barbara. They were always kind and considerate and never made me feel uncomfortable, even during my teen years. My two children now see Drs. Thouhy and Akins for their medical needs, Dr. Brennan having retired some years ago. The time spent in the waiting room and exam rooms waiting to see the doctor are more than average, but the quality of care given by the pediatricians is excellent. I had originally taken my daughter to a general practitioner at another practice but after a bad experience I transferred all of her medical records to Lee Davis. Dr. Akins does a great job explaining all of the developmental milestones she is checking as part of her exam and always asks how I am feeling as well.

The doctor is awesome. Can't say much for the nurse he had. She never remembers the kid, and is not very friendly. Not to mention answering for the doctor when then he later said that was not true at all. Last, the wait time is insane. I can't be an hour late. And now grand daughter has lost her insurance. So now charge me more?

That doctor almost ripped off my son's private area, she was touching my son's penis like she is a witch. I bet she has a son, someone else will treat her baby worst than what she did to my son. I am trying to forget that day and move one, but it always comes back to my mind. That was awful experience for me. She is not a pediatrician, she just lost her way.

Awful experience. I went in and stood at the desk with my new born in her carseat as my 2year took a seat at the kids table alone and I waited to be acknowledge by one of the 2 receptions who seemed to be busy on their computer. Just seconds later a white couple came in holding their newborn stood behind me. After about 15 minutes I went to put the carseat down, it was heavy and causing me to have abdominal pain being that I just had a child. As I sat the carseat down people came from the back and stood in line to make an appointment im assuming. I noticed that the receptionist began to help the couple that was standing behind me. It fraustrated me but I got back up to stand in line to check in and the female receptionist clearly stopped the male receptionist from helping me to help the people who came from the back. I was so emotional about the situation I just left. When I walked in no one said I will be with in a minute. They both saw that I came in before the couple who were obviously there for the same reason as me, I actually heard them ask the women for documents and being instructed to fill out paperwork indicating it was a 1st time visit. Being that 2people were at the desk I don't understand why I wasn't helped at this point. This experience literary caused me to have a break down.

Ever since my daughter was born in May of 2016, we have been here frequently from well child checkups to her urinary tract issues. We switched from Hanover Family Physicians after our family doctor left and it has been the best switch. We love Dr. Tuohy so much! She's so caring to both of my children and very personable! She truly cares about her patients and their wellbeing. We could not ask for any one better to look over the health of our children!

Every doctor that has treated my daughter has been patient, kind, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and caring. The staff always greets us with warm smiles and truly cares about everyone that comes in! We LOVE this place!

Dr. Touhy is amazing. She is very considerate... Does not rush and she is responsive to call and questions. She was very gentle with my son and great bedside manner. I highly recommend her!!

I switched to Lee Davis after a horrible experience with another docter. My son loves the nurses and docters here and so do I. He sees Docter sabino-akins and we love her methods. She's always prompt and so sweet!

The first time I went for my son nb check up everything was fine the second time for his 2 week check up they wernt as friendly so when I come today for his 1 month checkup and forgot his appointment was at 9 and got there at 10 thinking it was 10 so I told them that then I was told he couldn't be seen today then it was I had to reschedule i aske could he just go Thursday being I love over an hour away and his siblings had to come to there appointment on Thursday could he just come then with them so I won't have to keep going back and forth they told me no they can't c threr kids at one time but they all see the same doctor they said something about me having a attitude I mean who wouldn't if you drive over and hour away to see a doctor and can't be seen it pissed me off so I said I was going to call another doctors office to have him seen there and all of a sudden he can be seen in an hour so today might be his last day going there it's sad siblings can't have the same appointment to see the same doctor other places do it it's just the worst

Where do I even begin?! My son was born 5/1/14, and from his first visit, I was extremely unhappy. Dr. Vaughters was more clinical than calming, extremely condescending, and just made me uncomfortable. I had to put my son on formula when he was 2 weeks, and he started having issues being able to go to the bathroom. I called several times to speak with her about switching his formula, and she REFUSED. At one point she was on vacation, so the nurse conferred with another doctor; they wouldn't suggest anything "because he's not my patient". Oh I'm sorry, are you not a pediatrician? Have you never treated a baby before?? All I wanted was an answer so that my son wouldn't be so miserable! Not to mention, on his check-ups, the doctor was so rough with him. Don't get me wrong, I know babies are resilient, but do you really need to handle him like a disorderly inmate?? I have found a new (and WONDERFUL) pediatrician, but trying to get his medical records released from Lee Davis is like trying to wrestle an alligator. This place has been nothing but one headache after another, and I can't WAIT to never set foot in that place again!
