no follow up by the doctors. You go in with a problem and it take forever for them to follow up.

New patient here but impressed they got me in for an appt the same day I called even though they were booked, twice!

Avoid if you can.

Appointment was at 9am. I was in the office at 9:07am. DR. Was thorough and was able to get blood work done and a tetanus shot almost immediately. DR. Scheduled two future appointments At the hospital for a follow up exam and potential operation, med refills were updated and full work up complete. I was out at 10. All in all good visit.

I've been coming here as a kid and my experience have been great!! Love this place a the people

I'm done with this office. Seen for bronchitis by Np Monica who was very nice. I called three days later to get meds for unstoppable coughing. Dr Volansky refused to give me anything... I was told to drink water, take honey and call if I have a fever over 105...are you kidding me. I called again next day, it could take up to 48 hours to get response. This is unacceptable Healthcare especially with patient with COPD. This isn't my first go around with them either. It's now been 24 hours since my second call.. . Still no call from them. It boils down to this... My Primary doctor doesn't really know me. I'm a name with a birth date. Very sad. I got care today but by another health facility.

Doctors seem more concerned about getting through the day. Rushing people through rather than caring for the patients in front of them. Reception most of the time appear to be clueless on most things around the office. I find that I feel like I am not being heard when I speak about things with just a quick "uh huh" as a response while they keep typing away on there tablets.

While on vacation, I needed a pediatrician to see my kiddo. They were efficient, warm and kind, and we were able to get the diagnosis and prescription right away.

Albert Kumin

I Needed a copy of my medical records, and i was told their office outsources their records so they are unable to provide me them and that i had to wait 30 days, I told them it was critical i had them in the next week and they responded "We are allowed 30 days by law". VERY RUDE

I spent an hour of time I didn't have just to pay $20 for a referral I could have gotten over the phone. I'd recommend seeking health care elsewhere, but if you do go here don't make my mistake, ask what your appointment will entail be for going.

Drs are fine, Got a return call from Nikki who was extremely rude. Hopefully I won't have to deal with her again

GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. PUT A BAND AID ON YOULL BE FINE NEXT CUSTOMER...... The SFP receptionists are nice and seem caring. The problem here is the DOCTORS, especially Dr Quinn he was terrible, they just care about getting as many patients in and out the door in the shortest time. They do not care about your health they only care about the bottom line paid by insurance $$$$.

Jola Leginowicz

Doctors are friendly, but receptionists are terrible. I have bad experience with this place.

Frederick Guerra

I saw Dr. Quin three times and he introduced himself to me every time as if he had never met me before. To me, this tells me that he didn't look at my chart thoroughly before entering the exam room. Stowe Family Practice suffered a massive loss when they lost Dr. Bisbee. If you're not coming here for anything more than a cold or flue, I suggest going to a teaching hospital, like UVM or Dartmouth.

John Oullette

Stowe Family Practice is comparatively fine but has been dragged into the national tide of considering Medicaid recipients as expendable ( even children). The doctors themselves are polite and courteous but most definitely give a different type of service to the wealthier privately insured patients of affluent Stowe. This two tier policy extends to hospitals, naturopaths, and the medical industry in general. It is sad that a child with a persistent cough that is lasting months is merely brushed off with repeated antibiotic prescriptions instead of doing the standard diagnostics that a rich person's child would get , such as blood tests for mold exposure or any of the other myriad causes

Faith Goodtowne

The doctors here are fine, the real problem is with the receptionists. Of all the companies I have ever interacted with, I would rate the service received here from the people who answer the phones as the worst I have ever dealt with. Calls are not returned, questions are half answered, and all inquiries result in you must see a doctor, and you must wait a long time for an appointment. I've called about a simple prescription renewal and repeatedly I spoke to someone who promised to call me back and never did. The real problem seems to be cultural in the sense that the receptionists seem to have an attitude or culture that customers are a pain and do not need to be treated respectfully and courteously. I thinks some customer service focused training is really needed.

This place is a disaster. Go anywhere but here. I took my wife here for care after she injured her knee. They took X-Rays and told her there was nothing wrong. Take some Motrin here's a referral to physical therapy. Well five months later 800 miles away knee is still causing extreme problems. We went to a local Dr who right away ordered an MRI and surprise surprise, it's a torn ACL requiring surgery. How does a Dr in a ski town miss a torn ACL ? Dr Quinn also did a physical with blood work etc. Found nothing wrong. Even though my wife has taken thyroid medicine for years. Suddenly her thyroid is cured and she no longer needs any meds. Local Dr 800 miles away does same physical with blood work and refills prescription for thyroid meds. Also orders other tests and develops treatment plan. Stowe Family practice was a quick come in, who's your insurance company now get out experience. Front desk was rude and acted like they didn't care if you were there or not. Do yourself a favor and drive to another clinic any clinic besides this one.

My 14 year old daughter left Toronto sick with a sore throat and fever. Her throat got worse and worse but the results for strep came back negative before she left. After 5 days on vacation we took her to Stowe Family practice. My daughter was having trouble swallowing and breathing from her swelled throat. They took her in immediately and Dr. Marvin was amazing! She was tested again for strep and it was positive. Dr. Marvin followed up with us twice on how she was doing and she is 50% better less then 24hours later. Thank you for the amazing care and concern, this is a must go to if needed. Karen

This place is honestly horrible. The receptionists were rude, the waiting room was dirty (dust balls under the chairs) and the bathroom in the waiting room smelled horrific. The care from the doctor was alright, she seemed nice. You’d be better off going somewher else....that is clean.

Jackson Kytle

My personal experience has been good. I can usually get an appointment when I need one and the staff are friendly and competent. My primary is Dr. Volansky and she is perfect for my needs.
