REVIEWS OF Dover Pediatrics IN Vermont

Doctors and medical staff (nurses) are GREAT. WE love them all, patient with the kids and really awesome overall. Never waited long for our appointments and their after hours service has been AWESOME. Giving them 1 star because to get to THEM you have to manage your way through the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Sad because we really like everyone that actually deals with our kids and their diagnosis have so far always been on spot.

I love and trust every one of the doctors here. It is also a huge help that they are open on the weekends.

Horrible experiences, poor diagnostics, many times couldn't get the correct Rx or they failed to send it over, long wait times, couldnt book future appointments, poor experience with them billing insurance, misdiagnosed my baby with a double ear infection and croup but it turned out to be a positive test for RSV by the ER. Mistreated diaper rash for 5 months, I ended up curing it with anti fungal. I got a copy of her records to switch and loads of incorrect information in the chart. One doctor argued with me that my daughter had a history of ear infections, wrong. Even the first visit in the hospital by one of the Dover Ped doctors was horrible. Ruined my birth experience but the nurses coveredfor his rude behavior and incorrect diagnosis of jaundice. If you ask a question you get spoken down to. I met with the office manager to discuss how I felt my child's needs were not being met and was told I was an inexperienced new mom. I left and cried in the parking lot. If this office represents true pediatric medicine I'm better off taking my daughter to a animal vet for real treatment. When "dr google" gives me better direction than actual doctors there is a problem. The lactation consultant gave me bad advice and I lost my supply. So within 8 months I have had 3 false and misdiagnosis on my baby. One was in the hospital when I was told "you didn't think to mention your baby has jaundice?" When I questioned him as this was the first time I had heard it he says "once you see enough of them you know one when you see one she has jaundice" nurse comes in to test and it was neg. had a bad diagnosis of a double ear infection...nope ER CONFIRMED less than 24 hours later her ears were clear. Croup? Nope tested positives for RSV. So sad I felt bullied into all their lies on why they provide subpar medical care.

Horrible. Sadly I love the doctors and nurses they are so nice but we never get advice I feel like if I want answers I have to Google things they never make follow up appts if it wasn't for my child's father seeing the shots schedule on the wall and asking why she wasn't booked or even mentioned that she needed 4 month shots it never would've happened !! They never prepare u for milestones such as this 4 month fussy stage. I feel so unwanted there and like no one cares needless to say we will be finding a new pedi. And I never should be leaving there w no idea as to when we should return and ideas of what each month holds when I have a new born I shouldn't have to see on my baby app that my child should've had shots or be seen at a certain stage and age and have to call and make the appt bc it wasn't done there and we weren't ever told. U go in and the front desk staff makes u feel like ur a complete inconvenience to them

I have 2 children who have been cared by Dover peds since birth (over 5 years). We see all of the providers and they are all fantastic. Once, as an infant, my daughter was seen for a same day appointment at 8pm. It was an extremely busy day with emergencies and they went the extra mile (hours after normal business hours) to make sure ALL patients that wanted to be seen that day were seen. A doctor from the practice is on call 24/7, which is comforting for late night scares. They are also the attending pediatricians at Wentworth Douglass which has always brought us reassurance and they have a lactation consultant on staff. I find all employees professional, helpful and kind.

We have been using Dover Pediatrics for over a decade. I can't say enough about how good they are. We love the place. Our primary Doctor was Terri Lally. She is the finest of the fine. The practice is busy at times but the quality of care is great.

Terrible place. Never respect time. They will give you appointment but never serve you on time, if you late 2min than have to reschedule but they take extra 1hour without any apology. All doctors, diagnosis come different. One diagnosis having infection and next day another says no infection and than said infection. Worst place to go for kids. If you love your kids and time please try to avoid going in here.

This office has cancelled appointments on me twice in one week with almost no notice when I expressed frustration that they were cancelling on me a second time the receptionist was extremely rude to me. Not professional at all.

Stephanie Downing

Love all the doctors and nurses. We continue to bring our daughter here even after moving further away because of the outstanding doctors and support they provide.

Willow Davis

Worst doctors office ever. Staff is horrible and rude.

I went here as a child and I bring my son here who at this moment is 3 years old. Staff are friendly and pediatricians are knowledgeable. Pretty decent facilities and a small play area for children while they wait. Would recommend them to anyone in the area.

This place is terrible. I wish I read the reviews before taking my child around the hostile front desk and people that answer the phones. You guys need to seriously learn how to hire the correct people for these jobs. If they can't handle being polite when issues are brought up they should NOT have a job in these positions. You guys should also not be doing one shot at a time when there is more than 2 or 3 shots! Especially when I ask you to bring someone else in to do them all together.

Nicol Hotaling

I love Dr. Davey and Dr. johnson but hate the service. The staff is not very friendly (you can basically hear the eyes rolling backwards over the phone) and trying to get my child in is always a process. Very disappointing lately. I wish that they would work on their customer service.

Samantha Englehart

Legally laughing at this place. I don't know about the doctors because here we are 2 months later and they are still entering my child's info in the system and he's still doctorless... It's very sad and we are a military family. I really hope other people see this in time to take their sick children or healthy children somewhere else.

The physicians are great! Knowledgeable and caring. Wait time to be seen is very short. The receptionists however, are rude and let you stand there waiting for them to finish eating or conversating with each other before attending to you. Professionalism is key and I wish they would hire different receptionists.

Brian Dillard

Doctor is great, staff and management is terrible. Don't expect them to keep the appointments they set for you... They'll reschedule and act like that was always the appointment (happened twice). The other reviewers touched on some of the other issues. The doctors should hire all new staff, as the poor service reflects onto them and their practice.

I’m not sure why Dover Peds has such negative reviews. I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old, both go to Dover Peds. I can’t say I have ever had to wait more than 15 minutes for my appointment and have never experienced staff being rude in any way. I think it is easy to judge a practice when it comes to the care of our children, especially when a situation is seemingly an emergency. Any time I have needed my daughter or son to be seen without an appointment, Dover Peds has found a way to get us in, even if that meant that they stay after hours (once they had us come in at 7pm just so we could be seen that day). I do wish that they would send reminders for upcoming and necessary appointments for my 3 year old, but I understand that her appointments are annual at this point, so it makes more sense for me to just call a few months before her birthday to set it up. For my 6 month old son, they schedule his next appointment in the office and also give a call a few days before the appointment to remind us that we have an appt coming up. I really can’t say anything negative about Dover Peds. They are a well run facility and definitely try to accommodate their patients. Working with young children, babies, and sometimes overprotective helicopter parents is not always an easy task and, for my family, they have been consistent, respectful, knowledgeable, and of great assistance whenever I’ve needed to call for advice, take my kids in for their routine appts and in times when I’ve needed to schedule an emergency appointment.

I had a 3 o'clock appointment it's now 4:30 and still haven't seen a Dr for my daughter. I think we have been taken hostage
