I have been waiting for cataract surgery over 10 years! Wanted to get away from contact lens, repeated myself over & over making sure Dr. Fogel knew I wanted 20/20 vision! December 13, 2018 Dr. Fogel did the surgery... she did not give me 20/20 vision I STILL need to wear CONTACTS, so very disappointing! They just don't listen anymore! Moral of story make sure your Dr. is listening to you and get it in writing what they plan to do! Too late for me. Sheila M. Bartlett

Great service, friendly doctors, but 3 stars because they make you wait in the checkout line, and then you have to wait in the optical shop shop line to get your actual Rx. You should be able to get your Rx at checkout, and not have to wait in an additional line so some salesperson has a chance to sell you overpriced glasses.

Please do not go here if you have time constraints or financial constraints. My first appointment was supposed to be 90 minutes - it was 2 1/2 hours - all they said was we are short handed - how can you be that late at 9am? Second appt was at 8:20am, supposed to be 30-45 minutes, I didn't leave until after 10am - the Dr was rude and he was more involved with his coffee and football talk then he was the patients who were waiting. All this for a $650 first appointment and $200 follow-up? Now I know why people walk out of their appointments.

Concord Eye Center is the clear choice for eye care in central NH.

I've been going to this practice since childhood. I am 45 now. I have a family history of glaucoma and Concord Eye Care has always given me great care and council. Super friendly support staff as well.

Although I had to wait forever for an appointment and subsequent cataract surgeries, the staff and Doctors

I would have given a -ve star if that was possible. After checking, I waited for 40+ minutes. I went to the front desk staff to talk about this she took some notes and asked me to wait for a while.. I did waited for a while, and luck.. I am not going to that place again.

Please do NOT go here if you have a serious eye condition! Besides waiting forever, the Dr. Was extremely rude, condescending and clinical. He didn't want to answer any questions and yelled at me when I disagreed with him. He scared me. Very unprofessional. We went and saw a different Dr. In Manchester...so much more helpful and turns out I was right!

I have had difficulty ordering contacts several times. They make excuses that they are really busy but this has happened three times. Don't expect quick response from them. Also doctor gave my daughter old prescription on contacts right after new exam! They even put the wrong prescription in one of her eyeglasses the year before! I would normally put this aside and consider it human error but it has happened too many times. Very disorganized and understaffed. I'm going elsewhere.

I stopped by a couple weeks ago to look into new lenses after an exam showing a need to update my correction. I sat down with Kimberly and after some discussion about new lenses and frames she looked at me with concentration and asked for my current glasses. After a moment or two, she handed them back and I was astonished at the improvement with my old prescription. It seems no one had looked very closely at my glasses on my face. I ordered new glasses anyway because of the change in my prescription. The new glasses came in a week or so and I went to Kimberly again. She spent the necessary time to twist and tweak the frames and I haven’t seen this well in 35 years. I highly recommend you ask for Kimberly because she is very focused and fit my glasses to my face like I have never experienced. First class treatment from a talented lady! Thank you.

Terrible experience. Brought our son for evaluation and the doctor couldn’t be bothered. During the appointment we felt as if we were intruding. The evaluation was quick and a very general diagnosis was barked at us. We learned nothing and do not believe the doctor cared to be thorough. Waste of time and money at Concord Eye.

I was promptly checked into a room by a nurse. After waiting almost an hour, the doctor came. He hardly looked at my eye infection and hurriedly tried to push me out the door after slapping an eye drop prescription in my hand. He could hardly be bothered to answer any questions I asked in the rushed 30 second time-frame I was given after being explained nothing. I usually have great luck here but have not been satisfied with the Ophthalmologists they've had as of the past year or two.

I received a phone call confirming my mother's appointment four days ago, which I confirmed. Then I received a text also confirming my mother's appointment. My sister took my our 84 year old mother who suffers from pulmonary fibrosis and arthritis to the appointment which I had confirmed and was told they had no record of her appointment. How does that even happen?

My wife appointment with the Dr because she was 10 minutes late. Outrageous

In the past we had exceptional service with Dr. Wheeler- now our child has been passed off to Dr. Rychwalski who clearly isn't as kid friendly and after two visits we won't be returning. My wife and I have been in healthcare for over 25 years and have never written a review but felt it necessary to save someone else the unnecessary frustration we encountered at our most recent visit.

Concord Eye Center is definitely the worst eye care center around since Dr. Alanzo left. The cost of contact lens evaluation has tripled since one year ago. The evaluation is marginal and I was forced to go in or I could not get any more contact lenses and then when I complained that the service was poor and the cost had tripled they released me as a patient and refused to order my contact lenses.

This was our last appointment here and the final straw. Dr Morse seemed like she couldn't be bothered to interact with my two children. Don't get me wrong the nurses are great and I apologize for not knowing her name but the woman with the English accent is wonderful and so very kind. Dr Morse couldn't take the time to greet us. She comes strolling in hair a mess, looking disheveled. She quickly picked out a prescription, told me one child would need to patch and left the room in a hurry. No conversation, no telling us anything about the patching. One child's glasses seem too strong for her. She feels seasick with them and keeps taking them off. She's complaining everything looks too big. Picking frames is just a mess. You have to go downstairs to the adult section for glasses. The young guy in glasses, dark hair, slightly husky who helped us seemed annoyed that he had to wait for my kids to pick out a pair they liked. I kept insisting the pair one of my girls picked out were too big. They're clearly too big on her face but he kept saying they're fine and hurried us along. Previous times we were given glasses that were too big. They were being put in glasses meant for older children instead of baby and toddler sizes. One time they tried making me pay out of pocket to fix them to the right size. Why should I have to pay to fix your mistake? You guys are trained in this. It is your job to help patients get the correct glasses especially children as their eyes are still growing and developing. Really regret giving this place one more chance. I really should've just scheduled at NH Eye Associate . It's closer to home and people have great things to say about them.
