Not Dr. Firszt, he followed my care evan by calls to my home. Most of all he had the knowledge base to figure out how to help me. Finally I am able to function again . We have been visiting Tanner Clinic for some time for my daughter’s oral immunotherapy program for peanut allergy. Dr. Firzst and the nurses are attentive, caring and helpful throughout the program. Dr. Firzst has taken his time and answered every question and concern we had. The clinic itself is in a great central location and is easily accessible off the freeway. The allergy treatment is a long term program, and we have been satisfied with the experience. If you are interested in oral immunotherapy for peanut allergy, I would recommend Dr. Firzst and Tanner Clinic.

I have been to other Tanner Clinics and have never had any issues. Today was a completely different story. The MA was great and so friendly. He made sure to go through everything. Then Dr. Firszt came in. I have absolutely nothing good to say about him. He made me feel stupid for coming in and he was very condescending. I will never be going back or taking my children back to him. We went looking for answers to our questions and he basically shut them everything down and acted like I was an idiot for bringing my son in.

Dr. Firszt is a great doctor and very professional and knowledgeable. I love his move to Tanner Clinic. It is easy to park and to get to and the office staff is efficient. There is limited time waiting to see him as they keep on schedule and he devotes his time to you. We have been working with Dr. Firszt for 5 years now as my son has EOE. Dr. Firszt goes through a process to determine which foods are causing the symptoms, in our case of EOE. My son has improved so much and is able to enjoy life without all they systems from EOE as we have identified this food allergy. I highly recommend Dr. Firszt for treatment of allergies and especially EOE. He is great.

The Murray allergy clinic is full of fantastic, caring staff members, and we've had a very positive experience there over the past year and a half with Dr. Firszt, who has provided excellent care for our complex allergy family. We deal with severe food/drug/seasonal/animal allergies, asthma, eczema, food protein induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES), eosinophilic esophagitis(EoE)/gastritis(EG)/colitis(EC), and more, and we feel confident in and trust the guidance and expertise of Dr. Firszt and his team. Unethical billing practices! My son has been a patient of Dr. Firszt's for years. We never had issues when he was at Primary Children's, but Tanner Clinic has billed us for services not rendered. Also, for every bill our insurance covered in full, they billed us an additional amount then said they "incorrectly" billed us instead of our insurance. We started noticing additional charges for services my son has never received. Every time we call, the person in the billing department can't help us and refers us to their supervisor Lori. But Lori never calls back, never fixes the issue. We travel from out of state to see Dr. Firszt so we cannot just walk into the billing office. We have been trying for over two months to get these issues resolved to no avail. Because of this, we will never go back there and have had to seek out a new pediatric immunologist for my son. Tanner Clinic takes advantage of medically fragile children to line their own pockets. If you must use this clinic, go over your bill with a fine-toothed comb!

Dr. Firzst saved my sons life. He is the best immunologist I have dealt with. He was able to diagnose a rare disease that no other Dr.s understood and has been treating us for 4 1/2 years now. I would travel any distance to be seen by him, luckily he is close by, and now he can treat all of us at once! I will never be able to thank him enough for every thing he has done for us, because of him our son is alive and well, and even better he hasn't been inpatient since our first visit. He was even able to see that our daughter had the same disease and saw her before it became life threatening! He has always gone above and beyond his duty to us. We love him! Worst clinic I have ever been to. The urologist diagnosed me with something and then ran the same tests and said I didn’t actually have the disease. He had no idea what he was talking about. Also, the insurance said they would cover the costs of the diagnosis and I was working with the insurance to have them pay for it. I let Tanner Clinic know what was going on. While in that process they sent me to a collections agency. So now I have to deal with the collections agency, Tanner Clinic, lawyers, & my health insurance providers. I have spent so much time on paying for the diagnosis of a disease that i did not even have. They are the WORST! Avoid them at all costs.

Dr. Ray Firszt (Murray clinic) has the rude and condescending bedside manner of Dr. House but lacks the diagnostic skills to back it up. I highly discourage any parent from letting him treat a child, he is far too abrupt and abrasive (and as my child says “mean”). Perhaps he is better as an allergist, but as an immunologist he is not up to speed with diagnostic protocol and treatment. Please don’t be fooled into thinking he treats Mast Cell disorders as he states. His arrogance may be putting your child’s life at risk.

Dr. Firszt gives wonderful patient care. He listens to your symptoms/history and accurately decides what testing needs to be done and then what medical plan can be made! It’s hard to find doctors who truly care and don’t think of you as less than themselves, but you’ll find this type of doctor at tanner clinic.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Viera Hutchins for allergic testing. It started out ok and I had a reaction to the testing. I made another appointment to talk over symptoms i was having. She was short, ignored my symptoms and said she had never heard of any symptoms that I was experiencing after having the testing done. She said that no studies had ever been reported to any of my symptoms. So does that mean my body can't have an allergic reaction to the testing and I be one of the first that could have difficulty with the testing? I then called two doctors and sure enough they said I could experience the symptoms that I was having due to the testing that was done on me. I felt validated since Dr. Hutchins was unaware that chemicals could cause the symptoms I was experiencing. So I guess I'm being put in a group of people that have never experienced anything like I have had. So not only did she not listen, validate, or believe me, she then said your depressed you need a psychiatrist. She then on her own sent to that I needed a psychiatrist to Sedgwick and my employer. Who does she think she is God? Who is she to say something like that when my symptoms we're real. She has no clue about my body and the effects the testing had on me. I would never ever go back to Dr. Viera Hutchins. I don't think she is a sympathetic person, I don't think she is understanding, I don't think she is open minded enough to take my word about my body and what I was going through. I don't think she is willing to go the extra mile as a doctor should. If you want someone that will go the extra mile to get to the root of the problem, that will listen to you since it's your body that is experiencing these symptoms then don't go to Dr. Viera Hutchins. I'm passing the word to everyone that she writes letters to Sedgwick and employers that states a person needs a psychiatrist when that is definitely not her job. This is a serious accusation. I would never recommend Dr.Viera Hutchins.

This is an outstanding allergy clinic. We have had the best care with Dr. Firszt and his staff. We followed Dr. Firszt from Primary Children’s because he is an outstanding doctor, he is very thorough and makes sure we completely understand everything. My husband also sees Dr Firszt for his allergy care so we can’t say enough about how great he is and what an amazing staff he has. My son loves the people at Tanner as well, it says a lot when your six year old wants a picture with his doctor and nurses.
