This was my first appointment with Dr. Wheelwright I have to say he is an amazing doctor. He is so kind and patient. I’ve had lots of doctors at tanner clinic rush through appointments but he doesn’t do that. He takes time to explain every question and is very thorough! His bed side manner is immaculate. I'm definitely going to continue to go back to him and I would recommend any of my friends or family to him. (This rating is for doctor Wheelwright only! Not Tanner Clinic as a whole)

We were fortunate that no other patients were present when we arrived shortly after 10 am. Our wait time was minutes. The dr was able resolve my concern very quickly, give me a time release steroid liquid and sent me on my way. I was very pleased and surprised about the simple treatment. I was beginning to feel better in a short time.

Very disappointed in the quality of care that is given at this Urgent Care. Be prepared to pay a premium fee for a doctor and never see a doctor. My wife has been there twice now and has seen a nurse practitioner each time. She has been prescribed random drugs that never seem to work, that is if we can even get them. The last time my wife was prescribed a drug that is not even available in this part of the country. If you have a follow up question about your visit or prescription, don't even bother. The customer service and availability to speak with someone is non-existent. After the each visit to this urgent care we have had to go else where to a facility that actually has trained physicians. Take your money elsewhere.

Occasionally you will find one that is not for you, that happens anywhere but the majority of the doctors are kind and hardworking men and women who do their best for their patients.

My daughter was seen with the urgent care service at Tanner Clinic and I was very satisfied with our care. We didn’t wait longer than 5-10 minutes maximum which was a great plus considering juggling a 1 year old baby and a 4 year old who doesn’t feel well can be very difficult. The MA was so kind and patient with my daughter. My girl is developmentally delayed when it comes to speech and language but both the MA and doctor we saw today knew how to speak to her and worked so well with her. I’m used to trying to be the buffer for my daughter, or interpreter if you will, but that was not needed today. It means a lot to see someone actually take just the little effort needed to try and communicate with my daughter and she totally responded to it. She listened to them and cooperated for the exam and the doctor was able to figure out what was wrong and also a solution. This was a minor ear infection but the bedside manner was so above what we have been used to before. The doctor offered options for treatment along with her recommendations but ultimately left it up to me to decide which was great. My kids actually left the office in a great mood which is never usually the case when visiting the doctor. I would definitely recommend Tanner Clinic to everyone. Especially the urgent care.

Does the review system work? How does a health care company properly respond to a review without breaking HIPAA laws ? More importantly, how does a doctor or provider respond to negative reviews? How does a company verify that the people leaving the reviews have even been to that doctor or to their office? Is there a silent majority out there that doesn't take the time leave a 5 Star Review? Is it more common for someone who has had a less than perfect experience to leave a negative review? I chuckle when I read most of these negative reviews. Most consist of people who are mad that they are waiting to see a doctor. Then they are mad when the doctor doesn't spend enough time with them. How many times are Health Care providers being judged based on what the patient just read on WebMD 30 minutes prior to coming to the Urgent Care? The moral of this long winded review is that you should take all of these reviews with a grain of salt. Nobody is perfect and everyone has their bad days. I have been a patient of Tanner Clinic for 33 years. I have been with the Clinic since they were a 1 building shop. I have had multiple doctors and multiple health struggles over the years. There are better doctors than others but at the end of the day I am confident that everyone who works at Tanner Clinic is doing their best to ensure that I am well taken care of.

I had an appointment today in kaysville at 10:45. At 11:30 I cancelled the apt., hopefully got a refund and left. I think 45 minutes in the waiting room is un reasonable. All I needed was a referral to an orthopedic for knee replacement I called the surgeon and the desk told me I has to see my primary first, pretty rediculous

Dr fife is the best doctor out there. The most knowledgeable provider that I know. Save yourself some time if you are looking for a great Doctor and go see him. Awesome bedside manner as well. I showed up in an old Georgetown shirt and moccasins once when sick and he and staff still made me feel welcome.

I cannot think of a time I have waiting in the examination room for more than a normal few minutes. Dr Ryan EVANS is my favorite Doctor of all time! He is kind, professional, remembers us from visit to visit, and is so good to get us in. He addresses our concerns sensitively and proficiently. He has been our pediatrician from the birth of our first baby 30 years ago through all 6 kids and I can't imagine going to anyone else!

WARNING: We took our three month old son to this clinic for a check up with Dr. Evans and were told an immunization he needed would be covered by insurance. When it wasn’t, they sent us an $800 bill. Keep in mind, this same immunization cost $5 at a different clinic down the street. We tried to negotiate but after threatening to take us to collections we were forced to pay the $800 in full. I have a pit in my stomach every time I drive past this place.

I cut my index finger pretty good last summer and had Tanner clinic stitch it up. It healed without infection but inadvertently the epidermis was tucked in and as it healed the skin kept building up and caused a huge mound on my finger. So I had it taken off by Dr. Donigan on Jan. 14. It also healed without infection but after they cut off the stitches it hadn't healed yet. There was a big crack. So I had to go back and have them put on some tape to try to get it closed. The tape is still on and I hope it is healing correctly right now.

I was in a slip and fall accident on May 4th at a store. I slipped in a puddle of water with a quarter of a peeled orange in the middle of the puddle . I slipped , slammed my head on the floor, ( since then I've had horrible migraines! differently from the migraines i used to get 20 years ago!) Twisted my rightg ankle.. in which it automatically swole up, I hurt my right shoulder and when the accident happened I only had about a 40 degree range of motion, my right hip, and lower back was injured!! I have bruises on my left arm. An Employee saw the accident .I just wanted to leave! But she talked me into filling a report.. So I did. But Smiths corporate office called and said I need to pay for a Dr. Exam, to document my injuries . And they would reimburse if they felt it was necessary!! But with no ins. I had no money for intial exam nor to go to the ER.. SO I decided on Friday the 10th to go get checked out at Kaysville Instacare ! Because feels like nothing is healing! There I met Linday. Dr, NP, PA. Or whatever her credentials were.. Was not nice at all. Very snoody, she asked me to raise my shoulder.. I said I can only raise it this much! (And just to say she was in the room for a minute ) before asking me to raise my arm, and I raised it as far as I could. She said .." You had a wider range before!") No I did not and have not. I had a bad feeling about going to Instacare at Tanner Clinic.. She said I need a CT, x-rays.. in which I get! But it was her attitude and energy that made me feel like I was faking my injuries. When clearly my left ankle is swollen and has not gone down, my shoulder can't be raised, but she is smarter than me though. Walking in the exam room with a I know it all better than you attitude!! I can't stand people like her. So i left.. i freely so humiliated and it was just such a bad energy state of mood, even with her M.A. Didnt care for her either. Only Dr .I will ever see there is Dr. child.. Just because you have M.D., P.A.or N.P behind your name and you went to school longer than me.. Doesn't mean you are God, and that you get to judge and make someone feel like they just want to cry and run!! So I made up an excuse an ran! So yay me, I am going to get a bill when nothing was accomplished!!

I was very impressed by this clinic, the medical assistants/nurses, the doctor, and the front desk staff. They were all so kind and pleasant, as well as competent and very helpful. We only waited in the waiting room for 5 minutes and we were seen by the doctor within 10 minutes of going back to the exam room. Both the nurse and the doctor had wonderful bedside manner. They listened and addressed all of my concerns. I didn’t have to repeat myself to the doctor after already explaining everything to the nurse, which I appreciated. I didn’t feel rushed or hurried, and the doctor wasn’t quick to prescribe medications that I didn’t really need. I would highly recommend this clinic and I will go here for any future urgent care needs.

We’ve been with Tanner Clinic for almost 20 years & I don’t plan on changing any time soon. All my kids see Dr. Hoagland (my oldest is 17) and we couldn’t be happier! I could leave pages & pages in this review but for now, I’ll just say that if your looking for an amazing pediatrician, someone who truly cares about your child & will seriously work day & night to make sure your child is 100% taken care of...then you’ve come to the right place. (On a side note, when we aren’t able to get in last minute with Dr. Hoagland, Dr. Evens, FNP Enz & DNP Stapley are phenomenal as well. They give just as much to us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.)

Very poor experience and I will not be going back. I made an appointment for the end of the day Friday, as it was the best time I could find with my work schedule. I called to make an appointment for two specific issues I wanted to address with the doctor and I told the receptionist over the phone what I needed. I met with the doctor, who was in an obvious rush watching the clock to leave for the day, for a total of maybe 10 minutes. He was very impersonal and didn’t address either of my issues, I was told I needed to come back to have a procedure performed even though when I made the appointment I told them I wanted to do the procedure that day, and was told that I could. I was charged $155.00 for the 10 minute appointment, I would be in the same place if I would have just used the money to go out for a nice dinner instead of going here. My suggestions would be find another clinic to go to, I know in the future I will be driving back down to Herriman and see my previous doctor.

Kaysville Urgent Care - Lindsay Florek, PA This is one and only negative experience at Tanner clinic but it is worth documenting. I went to Urgent Care for foot pain. I was sent for an Xray before I even saw the PA. At this point, my experience was going well. Then...I met Lindsay Florek, PA. What she did positive is show me my Xray that you can see that 2 of my foot surgery screws are backing out. Her recommendation to me....Wear a larger shoe. I then requested she go talk to the podiatrist about my Xray, which she finally did. The podiatrist wanted to see me that day because he knew the screws would have to be removed. If I did not have an orthopedic background, I would have left Tanner clinic that day with no resolution of my symptoms. I was upset enough that I ended up filing a grevience against the PA. I definitely will not be returning to Urgent Care at this clinic EVER.
