Yikes. The outpatient care is really missing the mark. I do want to give a warning to those thinking of using their services. I had to fight tooth and nail to get into their outpatience services, after a loved one was in their inpatient which makes you worry about their continum of care. I waited in the lobby for a good 10 min after her appt started, took a looooong review on a device and the therapy itself (with an undisclosed LCSW) was really slow with no direction and lots of vocal judgements. Goals? Homework? Projects? Affirmations? Support? Nope. Sigh, yikes indeed. "Keep a journal" we were told, which we explained we were already doing. We needed something with more assertiveness, or more support and this fell flat. There is very little communication from the front desk staff and they are far from friendly. Goodness, this place was a waste of time and money. So my sighs turned into frustration and here I am. Go with The U, or a private practice . You will get no where with this place. My review of Inpatient might get 2-3 stars. Just know, there are better options out there.

My daughter received services here. Staff and professionals are great.

I spent a week here in high school and I'm still pissed. Everyone I know who has gone to some behavioral clinic had a MUCH better time than me. This place was hell, simple as that. I didn't get better, I couldn't focus ON getting better, all I wanted was out of there. Spending my time here made my depression worse. Which, after an attempt, seems almost impossible, no? We were prisoners there...pretty much literally compared to Uni and all these places I hear of. I had thought all these places were awful and it was always a negative experience. But no, I'm happy there are others out there that actually help, but it really makes me wonder what my life would be like had I ACTUALLY gotten help there. Please don't take your child here...please don't.
