Dr Burton is excellent. My daughter has been seen by her since she was a baby and is now a teenager. Dr Burton cares about her health and well being. She makes herself available for early appointments to fit us in. She has good medical knowledge and will research to obtain further information if it is a condition that is less common. My daughter and I trust her. Her staff is very helpful. We get called back the same day if we need to talk to someone. We get same day appointments when ill. I would highly recommend Dr Mary Burton. I especially like that the care we receive is comprehensive and thourough. We can get immunizations, physical exams, well-child checks, sick checks, emotional support, referrals to specialists, electronic prescriptions to our pharmacy. If Dr. Burton cannot see us if our daughter is sick, there are other doctors in her office that can fill in. Dr Mary spends the time we need discussing our concerns but can also balance making evaluations and a diagnosis so we can leave the office without staying longer than needed.

Amazing pediatrician! She is always on point. She genuinely cares about her patients. The clinic is always great as well. If you call early morning (8am) with a concern, they will always get you in on the same day.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY!!! I took my 13 year old daughter (who was suffering from an obvious sinus infection) to see Dr. Burton as her regular pediatrician was out of the office that day. She did not focus on why my daughter was there, she solely focused on the fact that I had been ill the week before and what script my doctor had given to me. She then proceeded to interrogate me about the script my doctor had prescribed to me and blatantly disagreed with his diagnosis! WHAT!? She also focused on the fact that my daughter had not had her fall flu shot (it's my prerogative as a parent not to give it and I was absolutely judged by her for not giving it) and, she was very assertive to give my daughter an annual physical while we were in her office. The aggressive push for a physical leads my mind to wander and question her intentions...Hmmm......First of all, that is not why we were there and secondly, I would place her with HER pediatrician for her physical as they have an established relationship and she would feel more comfortable! That said, Dr. Burton PROMISED that if my daughter was not feeling better in 4 days to call her and she would call in a prescription without us having to come back in. After my daughter missed school for 4 days due to sickness, (as any of you know with middle school kids, they can't miss school or they get TOO far behind) I did just that, I called her for the prescription. She declined to fill it and told me to wait for another 7-8 days. Dr. Burton's nurse told me that she had spoken to our pediatrician and one other doctor (still unsure who that second doctor is) about my daughter and that they were all in agreement and to call back if my daughter was still sick and then she would fill it. I booked an appointment with another physician after hanging up the phone with Dr, Burton's nurse. Two hours later and in a different doctors office my daughter was diagnosed with a severe sinus infection and was put on antibiotics immediately! They even asked me why I had waited so long to bring her in! After persistent effort I was finally able to speak directly with my daughters pediatrician regarding this frustrating and irritating office visit as I strongly felt she needed to know that this is how her patients are being treated by Dr. Burton while she is out of the office. Clearly, it is affecting her practice and other colleague's practices within that office. It was evident to me and confirmed by OUR pediatrician that details of my daughters visit were not entirely reiterated and that my daughters visit and diagnosis was only mentioned "in passing" in the hallway and not thoroughly discussed. Disappointing for my child. Our pediatrician was stunned to hear what I had to tell to her in detail about our office visit-beginning to end. Her words verbatim , "I did not hear any of that". Dr. Burton had clearly told her what she wanted to tell her. I will NEVER take any of my children to Dr. Burton and I would NEVER recommend anyone to her either! My daughter was ill plain and simple. That is why she was there. She needed an antibiotic for a sinus infection nothing more . Apparently my daughter needed to suffer for an extended period of time, miss countless days of school and contaminate others before Dr. Burton would do anything to help her. This doctor was beyond frustrating, she was skeptical, not helpful in anyway, extremely dismissive toward my daughter and I, blatantly rude to my daughter and I, judgmental towards me as a mother, has a terrible bed side manner, and obviously does not keep her promises or her word. I question why she's in practice. Is it really to help the children or is it more about invested, self inflated ego and self interest?

Terrible bedside manner. Very abrupt and no clear plan for a solution to issues. If you are looking for someone to insult you and tell you how terrible you are living, you found the right place. She seems to know it all and will remind you that she is a doctor. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

SATY AWAY!! Seriously so rude! I took my almost 3 month old to go see Dr Burton because they had had a higher temperature all week and my child's doctor (Dr Unger- who is AMAZING) checked my baby on monday because their fever did spike a little over the temperature they say to take them to the ER over the weekend. Took him in and they checked him out and said everything looked fine, but to call on friday if his temperature was still up. They didnt tell me a specific number. His temperature was still up on friday, i called and got in with Dr Burton, and then when i actually saw her she was so rude and dismissive. She was asking me questions but then not really listen to my answers and then proceeds to insinuate that I've been sticking the thermometer up my child's butt just for the heck of it and that i should only do it if he feels warm. I'm a first time mom, I'm learning all of these things for the first time and the way she treated me made me feel like I was an idiot and that i never should've called or even have worried about my kid in the first place. Seriously, stay away from this doctor. I'm so frustrated by our visit with her

Absolutely love this pediatrician. She takes such great care of her patients. Make sure that they have the time they need with her to address their concerns. Have been coming to her for 10 years and will come for many more.
