I’ve been seeing Dr. Ring for nearly 14 years. I cannot recommend seeing her while she is practicing at Southridge Pediatrics. This practice is not patient centric. It’s 12:30am and my 13 year old son has a fever and the onset of scarlet fever. His mother calls the on call doctor who assured us the rash is just a fever rash. Five mildoctor calls back and tells us his strep culture has come back from the lab and he has strep and likely scarlet fever. However - they won’t call in a prescription for amoxicillin. I have to wait. I’m headin out on a road trip w 5 people in my car tomorrow - and I’d prefer to be doing so without a contagious kid. After some back and forth the on call doctor refused. Get it figured out. This is a simple task. Because of this action, I’m now looking for a new practice.

Seriously Dr. Blackburn is the best pediatric doctor! We love him! So great with my kids and also very nice to me and my husband! Even if we move further away I plan on driving to riverton so we can have him as our doctor still!

Dr. Blackburn is hands down the best Pediatrician! So very grateful for him with my 2 littles. He is very knowledgeable and up to date on information. He makes me feel like I’m a great mother and doing my best! He talks fast which I personally appreciate. My kids and I look forward to seeing him!! HE. IS. THE. BEST!

Doctor Blackburn is definitely one of the best doctors in the Valley. He takes the time to make eye contact and greet my babies before examining them. He is gentle with my girls and I love that he can answer any questions that I have. I am never rushed when I'm there even though he is often double-booked. I was very grateful for some of the advice that he gave, especially when my girls were little as it made motherhood easier. He definitely knows his stuff, not only because he is a doctor but because he has 5 children. Some of his advice came from his own experience with his own children. I also love his staff because they always called me back, and even did a consult over the phone when my little one was sick. I am so sad that I can't bring my girls there anymore since I moved out of Utah.

Dr. Blackburn is so amazing with parents and kids. He is funny, approachable, and frank. He addresses tough issues with teenagers and makes the little ones laugh. We love him!

Dr Blackburn is the best pediatrician in the Southwest Valley. If you're in Herriman, Bluffdale, Riverton, or South Jordan and need a pediatrician he's your guy. Our kids absolutely love him and are always excited to go see him.

Doctor Blackburn is amazing!!! I have. 4 month baby and he seriously makes him smile the whole appointment! He's so funny and goofy with my baby and really knows what he's talking about and takes his time to explain everything! We love him! Highly highly recommend him to anyone!
