When my son and I first came, there was little to no wait time for us. Everybody in the office was very professional but nice and welcoming. My son enjoyed the environment and I did too! I've gone their several times to have my sons teeth cleaned, checkups and most recently, he had crowns put on. After that procedure I expected him to be sore but he came out of there happy as can be! He did really well. He has seen both doctors and they are very sweet. They calmed him down as he was nervous and he warmed up to him real quick. I would definitely recommend the Dental Ark!

Every time that we have visited, the staff has been courteous and informative throughout every aspect of the visit. Not only does the staff make it a point to educate caregivers on every procedure being performed, but they are efficient in their work as well. I am usually done with my daughters appointments within an hour of arrival, from sign-in to the scheduling of the follow-up visit. I did deduct one start, however, because of the fact that they, unlike other dental offices, do not allow caregivers to accompany children during certain dental procedures, which I wish they did. Aside from that, I am very pleased with The Dental Ark as a whole and will continue to take my daughter there for all her dental needs.

They get the job done, but I’ve had to wait 2.5hr for a routine checkup for my daughters (with an appointment) the last 2 times. First time I was okay, I understand it happens. Excuse was school’s out on break. Didn’t buy it, but I let it slide. This time school was not on break. I’m not impressed. And I’m contemplating not making an appointment for sealants- I don’t want to have to wait 4hrs for a job that should take 45minutes.

I love this dental office! I had a horrible experience initially after bringing my infant son for evaluation for an upper lip tie, but Dr. Baker took it upon her self to look into and rectify the situation. The 1st doctor that evaluated my son told me his lip tie was not severe and resolve itself. Dr. Baker scheduled me in for a consult evaluated my son and confirmed the severity and the symptoms of an upper lip tie. She was very helpful and informative about the procedure my son would undergo. The subsequent appointments after the evaluation were great. I would recommend this dental office to everyone I know specially because of the wonderful care Dr. Baker provides. The appointments are fast, but thorough, and the staff is great!

This is the third dentist I have taken my three-year-old to in a month. I was very satisfied with the care at dental Ark. The staff was extremely friendly and made my daughter feel really comfortable. She went in for cavities. They took my opinions seriously and even gave my suggestions a try before doing anything too serious. Although we can’t be in the room while the children get their fillings, They do let you take a peek during the process. I was worried that this experience for my three-year-old getting fillings done would leave her traumatized, but she was not scared at all. The same day I was worried that my daughters filling chipped and when I called they said to come right back and they would fit me in. They were really nice and did not make me feel like I was an inconvenience.

Today she had a fantastic experience with great employees that were friendly and extremely patient. For once she actually did the water with suction and actually enjoyed the experience. After we left she asked when her next appointment was. I will continue taking her to Dental Ark for their successful dental work.

Loved the staff, dental hygienist and the dentist. They were really great. Although waiting two and half hours to be seen was not worth it. They advised that due to children being off from school was the reason for the delay... but I would say that the overbooking appointments would be the reason for the long long wait. When we checked in, we were advised we would only wait about an hour... had someone told us different at the beginning of the appointment I would of rescheduled.

This has to be one of the worst places to take your kids. From the service to dental work. First off my son had completed his braces frame and is now wearing retainers. I took him back for a check up and now they’re saying he needs braces again because a couple of teeth weren’t fully grown. Are you kidding me?! Another 3500? They did not do a professional job here. Second of all the staff is horrible not willing to help and talking to me like they’re higher than me?! I’m older than most and they disrespected me specifically a worker named Marisol. The doctor needs to get this situated soon because just like me they will lose more patients. If there was an option to put negative stars I would.

WARNING TO PARENTS: My 3 year old grandson was scheduled at 0700 hrs for a procedure. When he was called back my son went with him. My grandson was taken to a play room were he would be given the first part of the sedation. However my son was told he had to leave and sit in the parents room. My grandson would be supervised by staff but my son would only be allowed to briefly look in on him periodically. He was also told that during the entire procedure following he could not be present. The very rude unprofessional assistant stated that we should have made prior arrangements to be with my grandson. Since they were unable to accommodate our request we were told to reschedule. We asked several assistance why we were not told about the policies prior! "Answer", WE SHOULD HAVE READ THE CONSENT FORM THAT ADVICES US!! She also told my son that he appeared more worried than the patient. I will not allow my 3 year old to be sedated taken in for a procedure for over two hours without someone by his side. This place should be considerate and family friendly!! VERBALLY advice parents while scheduling appointments about the parent policy!! So we are sailing away to a new Ocean with better dentist and customer service.

My three children have been dental patients with The Dental Ark for almost 4.5 years and two of them with the Orthodontics Department for approximately 4-5 months now. Each of the Dental and Orthodontist professionals, the hygienist as well as front and back office staff members have ALWAYS been courteous, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and empathetic in all aspects. Out of the 30+ scheduled and a handful of emergency appointments I can say in ALL honesty, aside from less than 5 times, that they are prompt and running on time with the scheduled timing within 5-10 minutes. Which is a great rarity in any field of medicine. I RECOMMEND THE DENTAL ARK 100%!

There are times the waiting can be a little longer than usual, but that can happen anywhere.. the staff is very welcoming and make you feel very comfortable. The Dental Arc has friendly service but sometimes you have to wait a while to be checked in by the front staff. For example, today I waited about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged and assisted me as I was waiting behind another customer. The people are very friendly and helpful but very slow. You make an appointment time but it takes them more than 45 minutes to call the kids back from their appointment time. Also, one dentist said my child needed treatment for a cavity, then when I took her back, another dentist said she didn't need treatment. I am glad I didn't have to pay anything, but taking a full day off work for nothing is not good.

After a kink in the very beginning of our experience with the Dental Ark, 4 times going sense have been 100% better and I can't say enough good things about this dental office. Wait times are incredibly short and the staff in the back are so nice and super quick with cleanings and such. I have a little boy who screams and they don't outwardly show frustration, they just talk him through it as gently as possible. The environment is safe and positive. And if all of that doesn't convince you the art in that place is amazing! 5/5 stars for sure!

My boys have been going to Dental Ark for a few years now. They have had cleanings and dental work done before. This time around we were very disappointed! Both of my boys had dental work done on 1/22/18 and both of my children had complaints. My youngest (age 7) has bruises on his cheeks as if someone forcibly opened his mouth. He later told me that "the man squeezed my cheeks because I didn't want to open my mouth." I believe that was unnecessary, and after a full week bruises are still visible. My other son (age 9) was told to be quite during his procedure because he was crying. When we were being discharged I did bring up that concern. I later received a phone call about the boy’s status and I also got an apology. We brought our boys to this facility because we heard good things about them. My middle son was traumatized with the other dentist he was going to. Now as parents we are concerned. Will they treat my son’s like that again without us knowing? Is this why we are not allowed in the back, so they talk and treat them the way they want? After this experience my boys are not going back. I would not recommend this place!

No flexibility for late afternoon services (Regular or Ortho, emergency). Only options are their options. Only options available are to miss school and work. Single parent will need to find others to take their children to their appointments. It's been like this since day one. I need to find a new place able to assist with family schedules. Any suggestions? they already have my child braces complete payment and if I move it will be a new cost for me. I stated the braces were causing pain to my child and still no flexibility.

Our appointment was at 2. We didnt get back there until 3. They hygienist was great and the dentist was nice. My son had 2 cavities. He is 5 years old. They said that to fill the cavities I couldn't be present in the room with him. After I pushed they said there was one dentist who would allow it. Ok fine. Then tells me they are going to give him a sedative to do the cavity fill because they said he seemed nervous which he was not in the slightest. When I asked about the contents of the sedative they danced around the question then when it was time for me to sign the release form it turns out they were going to give him demerol.....a level 2 narcotic to a 5 year old for a cavity filling? When I pressed for info on this I was told "that's just what we give them.its fine." No. It's not fine. We didnt leave until 4pm. It was my first and last visit there. Needless to say they will NOT be doing any dental work on my child.

Untrustworthy...period! We've been taking our kids to the Dental Ark for a few years now and I've noticed certain poor reviews in the past but didn't put too much thought into it until I encountered a similar situation. We had an routine cleaning appointment last week for our 4 year old and were shocked when they told us that our 4 year old had 3 decayed teeth and would need to shave down the teeth and put caps on those three teeth. They informed my wife that our 4 y/o would need to be sedated and given nitrous oxide. They also mentioned that my wife would not be allowed in the room during the procedure and my wife insisted that she be present. The Ark found a dentist that would allow my wife to view from a window and my wife scheduled the appointment. Later that evening, still feeling uncomfortable, we checked our daughters teeth a bit closer and could see nothing, we asked her if her teeth ever felt funny and she told us that they hadn't. My daughter always complains about the smallest things that bother her. We found this odd that she has never complained about her teeth after the Dental Ark's diagnosis. We requested her X-rays the following day and sent them over to two other separate dentists and they both mentioned that it was impossible to diagnose any decay because of the poor quality of the X-ray. Remember, I mentioned that we inspected our daughter's teeth that evening and saw nothing out of the ordinary. Mind you, I'm not professionally trained to diagnose any complications with teeth but if 2 separate dentists informed me that it would be impossible to diagnose ANYTHING with the poor quality of X-rays I was provided, surely the diagnoses of 3 decayed teeth would be able to be seen visually? Bottom line is this, There have been implications of the Dental Ark performing unneeded treatments on kids. I never experienced this until now. Before that things appeared fine, which reminds me, My kids have cleanings every six months. Why was there never a mention of "we need to keep an eye on this tooth or these specific teeth." The dentist that recommended the caps said the decay was too far gone to just do a filling. Surely, this should have been noticed at the last visit then? My honest recommendation is to find a smaller dentist office to send your kids to. This place seems to just care about how many people they can treat and will say whatever they can to bill for unneeded treatments. At the very least, get A SECOND OPINION. You will most likely have to pay out of pocket for it but aren't your children worth it? I feel they are banking on the idea of people not seeking the second opinion to call their bluff. I truly hope this review helps at least one kid from not going through unneeded treatment. How evil can people be to perform unneeded treatment on innocent children? *Update to Dental Ark's response- your response is generic and seems outdated. I've seen this response on several negative reviews dating back a few years. Apparently, your staff ignores your policy about the parent being able to accompany their child then. No need for the dentist to contact us, we're taking our kids and their well being to another dentist. I'm curious what she would say though as she wasn't the one treating my child. Is she going to go off the poor quality x-rays your office provided me?

Been taking my oldest daughter to the Dental Ark since she was 6 months. She is now 12. The staff are wonderful with her and patient. I now take my second daughter there as well and honestly, I'm glad i chose the Dental Ark. I love taking my kids there especially with such friendly staff.

I've been coming to the Dental Ark for 9 years, their treatment of the children have always been the same Wonderful but in the past the waiting time was horrible and they did lose my business for a while but I could not find another dentist that was as good with my children as they were so I decided to give them another try and thank God they realize they needed to work on the wait time. Just recently three of my children went in for their check up appointment it was at 3:30 we were out of the dentist office at 4:45. In the past the hour and 15 minutes would have been how long we would have wait just to see the dentist. Dental Ark you're doing a great job keep it up the wait time is what kills us parents and you figured it out and changed thank you.

My son had to go in for an extraction and although it took longer than expected, they did an amazing job! They take their time to help patients feel comfortable and safe. They even called after to follow-up on how he was feeling. Definitely recommend.

I am very sad to change my review today. Up until today we have had great experience with taking our 3 children to Dental Ark. Dr. Baker has been wonderful as well as the hygienist. But staff over the phone depreciated the value of this place with the lack of customer service. Even when speaking to a “office manager” he laughed at our situation instead of helping solve the problem. As of today I do not recommend this place.

Such a great dental office! From the start to the end of the appointment my kids and I were very comfortable. The doctor who did the exam on my kids was very attentive. If i could i would rate a negative number. Took my 3 kids there and they said they all had 2 or 3 cavities each! Long story short took them to another place since I did not think it was true! And i was right! The new place checked them n they had 0 cavities!!! Cant believe they are money hungry and worst of all dont care of putting kids through pain!!!

When we decided to go to the Dental Ark, it was my last hope. See my middle daughter is claustrophobic. So when you combine that with her fear of dentists at her young age it was hard to get her to calm down at any appointment. I went thru many dental places that did everything from staff holding down my daughter, to not letting me be near her, to having me near her while I watch them strap her down. I'd had enough of extreme measures and one day saw an ad for Dental Ark and called. That was the best decision I ever made. We were treated by a friendly, warm, and welcoming staff. They had that magic touch that made her feel comfortable and put me at ease as well. Not once did they ever go to the extremes of holding/strapping my daughter down and I thanked them for that. It's now been about 4 years now and we'll never go anywhere else. I would recommend them to everyone in a heartbeat!!!

From the minute u walk in the door, someone is there to welcome you. You sign up and review your child's medical history in order to report any changes to the medical staff. Security with every child is a priority. They are always accompanied by the friendlies dental staff in town. All procedures and results are consulted semi privately. Appointments and checking out process is prompt and courteous. Only one hygienist came across as judgemental or unfriendly on one of our first visit, but I just asked my child not be treated by this staff member and all has been great. Don't look around. Call for an appointment today!
