First off I LOVE Dr. Biard. Which is the ONLY reason it has 2 stars and not a negative amount if that was possible.. I have been seeing her for about 18 years. My mother for over 22 years, and she was my grandmothers doctor for many years before she passed. Certain things about this place have always been irritating (see below) but Dr Biard herself kept me coming back, However, at this point now I am currently seeking another PCF. The billing supervisor here unsure of how long she’s been here, is a complete nightmare. After continuing sinus infections, Dr biard ordered a CT on my sinuses, then I proceeded to get a bill for I want to say around 2,000.00 my insurance apparently covered none of it due to the deductible.. what a joke. I was put on a payment plan back at the beginning of this year I believe, and defaulted on it ONCE, due to my debit card expiring. No this place is not the first place that pops into my brain to update my debit card with. The billing did call me, and I called back and even emailed back. With no responses. When I went to make an appointment as I have to do 4 times a year for medication refills, I was told I’m unable to and transferred to billing, where I was told that since I defaulted ONCE on my payment plan it was now going to be more than TWICE what I was paying which I could not afford. So I asked her “so I cannot get in to get my medicine because I can’t afford to pay what you’re asking, and my previous payment plan is no longer acceptable..” I was told that was correct. So I called back AGAIN to make a payment and setup to pay something ultimately I can’t really afford, and made a payment (which I was told by Brittany was fine) and setup for a slightly smaller payment plan starting January.. when I was transferred back to make an appointment I was told I still couldn’t make one until JANUARY 11th. Even though I had JUST MADE A PAYMENT VIA PHONE AND WAS TOLD OTHERWISE BY BRITTANY WHO WAS VERY SWEET AND COMPASSIONATE UNLIKE HER SUPERVISOR. The supervisor suggested I speak to the pharmacy line, so I pressed that prompt when she routed me back to the main menu, well nothing happened when I did that, so I routed myself back to the appointment line and was told by the scheduling coordinator that department doesn’t even exist anymore. (Someone should inform the billing supervisor God of this). I asked her to PLEASE make sure a nurse picked up the phone, (although she didn’t) Bc as you can see from other reviews trying to get a refill from this place Is like digging out impacted wisdom teeth, in the past it has taken me TWO WEEKS to get refills. Despite my pharmacy faxing requests and calling DAILY. I am so so so disappointed in this place because I adore dr biard, the lack of compassion from this office staff is appalling, considering my family, myself included have been patients here for over two decades, I think it is time for a switch to a much smaller more personal practice. The other kicker my mom is currently as we speak at the facility because she physically had to drive there because she could not get anyone to call her back regarding her prescriptions for her bronchitis. This place has been a real treat lately. Oh and be prepared to spend half your day there as well..

The new place is huge with very long hallways. I prefer it over the other location. It's easier to get to and out of. I think they need more than 1 person at checkout. I got there really early and was out fast. I only went to my PCP on the 2nd floor. Cant wait to checkout the other services and see the rest of the new building.

I have been using healthcare associates for almost 15 years now. Since they have moved to their new location on 161, I have been extremely disappointed in their service. The appointment and check in process has been messed up the last two times that I went, my billing has been incorrect, and I feel as if unnecessary tests are being done that cause an unnecessary increase in my bill. I am currently looking for a new primary care physician.

My Dr of 20 years retired and this company bought his practice last year, not impressed. I have been trying to get my prescription refilled for a week and have been given the run around. The doctor wants to see me every 3 months because of my diabetes even though he has passed me off to a diabetic doctor. His staff told me last week that a 6 month follow up would be sufficient, but this week the story has changed and they decided that my blood pressure medicine would not be refilled until I come in to see him. I have been taking this blood pressure medicine for over ten years with only an annual physical with no issues and now they decide it is time to make me come in 4 times a year? To make matters worse, the nurse gets smart with me on the phone. I am looking elsewhere for a primary physician.

The poorest medical services I have ever seen in my life!! The doctors and billing team are piss poor. They don't have any compassion or understanding of a patients health concerns or financial situation, neither. All they are concerned with is getting their money and screw the patients health concerns!!!!! They love to run test and make recommendations but they never give you the results of either one. We have had to beg them for the results of test that they have run on us !! Patient/ Doc relationships are a thing of the past and do not exist anymore !!!!!! Just an FYI, DO NOT use HCA for any of your health needs. They are clueless about patient needs and are only concerned about getting their money out of you. They are a worthless organization !!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent choice for all you health care needs. This office has all doctors you need and all diagnostic equipment right on site. This can save you big on deductible rather than going to a hospital for scans. Walk in clinic too in this state of the art facility off 161. I’ve been a patient for 25 years at HCA and always recommend it to people.

I only gave 2 stars because I do like Dr. C, but that doesn't make up for how terrible the rest of the staff is. Don't waste your time or your money here. The staff is completely incompetnet. Half the time the front desk staff is playing on their cell phones when you go to check in and they act like you're being inconsiderate for being there. The nurses are rude and any time THEY CALL YOU they can't recall what the call is in regard to. Dr. C recommended I see another doctor at the facility and since they already had my records I thought I might as well for convenience. Terrible mistake. Dr. Ward is as incompetent as the front desk staff. I wasted hours of my time and a good chunk of money for her so called expertise. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

I've been seeing Dr Feehrey for as long as I can remember, and I've always loved having him as my family doctor. Sadly, the healthcare organization he is with now, Healthcare Associates, is nothing more than a modern day healthcare factory. You can't ever talk to your doctor because he's shielded by layers of business from the answering service to the front office staff. You have an emergency? Too bad. Make an appointment. Theres a problem with the prescription you got? Too bad. Make an appointment. You could be in your death bed, and you still would not be able to contact your doctor. Make an appointment. But, here's the thing about those appointments. He's ALWAYS over booked. They run the practice like a factory, so they have too many patients for the number of doctors on staff. That way they always have every slot filled in any given day. Got to maximize that money intake. So, if you get sick and need to see the doctor. Well you can make an appointment to see him, but it will be sometime next week. Everytime. Next week! Or, you can see his assistant Stacy. Never see Stacy. Never! She's rude and uncaring. I always liked having Feehrey as my family doctor. My grandmother went to him. My mother went to him. My brother went to him. He's been OUR family doctor forever. Healthcare Associates took our family doctor away, and replaced him with an assembly line healthcare system. Now I'm looking for a new family doctor that is a DOCTOR rather than an EMPLOYEE of a multi-million dollar healthcare system.

Since the move to the new office, there has been a lot of lack of organization. Call center folks making appointment seem to be uninformed about the doctors/PA schedules. One 3 occasions front desk didn’t have my paperwork for my appointment. I was asked to sign a new procedure policy on my last visit and when I asked questions about paying for medical forms, I was directed to my doctors. When I asked my doctors(who requires appointment for completion of forms), I was told to ask the front desk.

Recently, I scheduled an annual physical exam at Health Care Associates in Irving. This is my first time here, and chose to go with Dr. S**** A****. While the interaction with the Doc is neither satisfactory nor informative unlike my previous annual visits where the Doc spend considerable time going through our concerns and addressing them. But the main issue here is regarding a followup visit and fees related to it. When I checked out after my physical and blood work, the office scheduled a follow up visit. I showed up after a week for the follow up and heard that I have to pay my co-pay again even though I paid for the physical just a week before. In order to avoid confrontation with front desk associate, I went ahead and paid my co-pay which is $25. I asked the Doc regarding the fees and she said she is helpless. The summary of the follow up visit is just to hear the Doc say "everything was alright and see you next year", which could be conveyed on the phone as well(but they need the money for my visit). I didn't want to pursue further because its nominal amount. But after a month I received an invoice from the Health Care Associates that I owe them roughly $150, since their claim for my 2nd wellness visit(which is actually a follow up visit) has been rejected by my insurance company. Now they are trying to charge me for a visit that is not needed if the Doc is conscious enough to decide if a visit is required or not. When called the office regarding this, they simply said that I spend time with the physician and I would be charged for it. I am not giving up this yet but I wanted to share my experience here so that no one else should be in to this trap. And I would avoid this facility at any cost because they(both the Doc and the office) have one mission, that is to squeeze money out of your pockets.

Dr.Ward is a really good doctor but her nurse assistant I believe she said her name is Amanda is rude and insensitive. I called because the patient portal Never notified back that my doctor messaged back to me. She literally got on the phone and said “this is Amanda” and that was already frustrating due to the fact that I had just been cold transferred to her after explaining myself. So I proceed to tell her what’s wrong and she had already been WAITING for me to finish because she had my profile pulled up. She read back what the doctor said and was so bland. She used “mhm” and it’s like lady ... I’m already frustrated because the portal is challenging and then to top it off you pick up the phone with a attitude for what reason ? I switched to this doctors office with the same challenges I was having at the previous doctors office the Nursing Assistant. It’s one thing to be rude but to make the patient feel “stupid” or you’re so annoyed is NOT THE WAY TO GO. Not sure if I will continue to go back or not but I really like Dr.Ward ... just not understand why her Nurse Assistant woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Dr.Biard is great, her Physician Assistants are wonderful. Front and lab techs were great, but her medical assistants are not nice they take forever to call with results, and hang up on calls or won’t even answer calls if it’s close to “closing time”. I was very unhappy with the office experience. I sadly will have to find another Doctor’s office because personally being a Medical Assistant myself I always place patients and their needs first before my job is fully done and in doing so with a friendly attitude.

Had a problem with my MRI order. Front desk staff weren't helpful in correcting the problem. It didn't get corrected until it got to the Technologist. The Tech was very professional and did a great exam! I know because I'm also an MRI Technologist. When you have a problem tell EVERYONE you see.

This is a busy office but that’s because the doctors are really knowledgeable and spend time with each patient. I have enjoyed my visits but I am a patient with patience. In the time I have been waiting for you to call in my medication, I ran out and now feel absolutely disgusting. The pharmacy has called you multiple times and faxed you, and I have now called and emailed you multiple times to no avail. Good thing it's only my health that depends on this instead of something actually important. Oh wait.

I have only ever had a great experience with this office! Recently, I called ahead in regards to a very serious infection and upon my arrival my physician got the ball rolling. Dr. Shweta Adya looked it over carefully, handled it immediately, and then set up a plan to get through it. Things got worse later that week and Dr. Adya saw me again and began an even more detailed plan to deal with the infection. Her concern for my well being helped me along the way. She would frequently consult with the IV clinic to get updates and also worked with them to make sure I was being monitored and attended well. She even checked in on me once when I was in the IV clinic downstairs on her way up to her office for the morning. This was a two week roller coaster, one that gave us all a few scares. Luckily, she was so hands on in the whole process and so helpful. I could tell she wanted to see me well again. Thank you Dr. Adya for helping me through this! I made it because of you. A second shoutout is in order: the team in the IV clinic are top notch!! Virginia, Alyssa, and Marc were phenomenal. They went above and beyond to make sure I saw improvement and even though it was a very difficult time, I looked forward to going in because I knew they had things under control. They are a great team and each one of them so pivotal in my healing process. Can't thank them enough for what they did for me. Healthcare Associates of Texas, you have some great employees!

I agreed to do a year of immunotherapy for allergies after I was told that my insurance would cover it at no cost to me. About my 4th vital in I get a bill in the mail for $2,000. I have called and spoken with people in billing and the allergy department 4 different times. Every time I was told someone would call me back. I have left 2 messages for the "billing supervisor". I have not had a single call back. I did get another notice of my $2000 due. I have been trying to get this cleared up for months and have been sidelined every time and never a call back.

Jennifer Mata is the BEST!!! She always takes the time to listen to my concerns (or the concerns of my children) and never makes me feel rushed. Her bedside manner is wonderful and she truly cares about her patient’s well being. She always goes the extra mile to coordinate prescriptions or referrals with my insurance, which is so appreciated. There have been many times I have gotten prescriptions with other doctors only to show up at the pharmacy and find out the prescription is either not covered or an astronomical price. She is a FANTASTIC caregiver and I would HIGHLY recommend her!!!

Ladies at the Windows are great, some of the nurses are very good, but I would run as fast as you can out the door if you are scheduled to see Dr. Torres! He falsely accused my husband of trying to abuse his medicine. He was very angry and scolded us like we were children. He stormed in the room and ordered my husband off the table and told him to sit in the chair! He would not listen to us trying to explain what he might have been confused about. He dismissed me when I tried to call my pharmacy of ten years and told me to call when we were finished! I left his office in tears from his verbal abuse! He did not check his facts and lied about having a message in his file. I verified all of his accusations and he was totally wrong on all counts. Again, if you know what's good for you, you will see another Dr. I changed mine the very next day!

Healthcare is such a racket... first called to make sure they could provide an Emotional support animal letter for my apartment said yes over the phone... so I scheduled and appointment take time out of my day from work ... nurse was awesome! Buttttttttt Cindi Peters ... wow what a joke. If you’re from Dallas you know that typical stuck up highland park attitude. If you can imagine the girl who thinks her sh** don’t stink and looks down on other people because they don’t have a lot of money... that’s her 100% ... Has no compassion or interest in you or what you’re telling the “provider” you need from them.. just wants your money saw me for 1 minuet max and booted me out the door go to letter H she said... oh okay...I’ll never use them again.. Lines are crazy long too. I asked for your help and you just look at me like a number. So wrong.

I received an MRI here and after reading the medical report they didn't image to correct part of my shoulder!!!! Although they didn't tell me that they didn't capture images of the problematic area of my shoulder. They called me and gave me a generic answer if arthritis. I will now need new imaging done PRAYERFULLY it's nothing serious. People obtain the images and read the medical reports!!!!!!

Interesting that I’m reading quite a few of the same issues. My husband has a daily medication that he takes. There are withdraw symptoms associated with this medication so it’s very important that he has it every day. He had been without it for days until our family doctor was able to fill it for him. It has now been well over a week that he’s been trying to reach someone at Healthcare Associates and finally someone calls him back and promises a callback within 24 hours. Not acceptable at all. Florence Oni is who he sees. Worthless. I cannot believe that between my husband calling and the pharmacy requesting the refill, still no one has filled his medication. How can a medical institution let this happen? I’m absolutely disgusted in the service, or lack there of, provided from this place.

Dr. Biard is great. However, I have been struggling to get a hold of someone in her office about my blood work. I got a call last Thursday, 7/11 about results, but I told them Dr. Biard has told me something different. They said they would send her a message. I never heard back Thursday. I called and left a message Friday, 7/12 and Monday, 7/15. No one has returned my calls.

My nursing and tech staff were great. Even the food service staff semmed willing to do anything they could with in Drs orders. I did have one issue with the health care team. When they were trying to get the tube in my nose and to my throat we had problems. I allways have. I found out my sinus structure is very small. When they went down in size from the 12 and 14 they "always use "

The staff was great as was my PA. Unfortunately, the appointment process was a nightmare. I am an established patient (8 years+), I have never experienced this. After making it through the “phone tree” I was on hold for at least 45 minutes. I tried again, with the same experience, however, this time I was sent to a voice mail. I was instructed that my call would be returned. Two to three days later, I did receive a return call to set up my appointment. I was just coming for a follow up, but, what if I were I was ill and needed attention ASAP. This process has me quite concerned. As I waited for my appointment, I overheard a patient say that they were on hold for a a total of three hours.

This place made so many errors with my information and the employees that work there are so rude that I don't understand how they have an average of 4 stars on reviews. Every year I have to get a preventative exam to receive reduced premiums on my insurance, so I went to my health insurance's website to find an in-network provider close to me. Healthcare Associates of Texas had good reviews so I called them to set up an appointment. The 1st thing that went wrong was I found out the address they had listed on my insurance's website was not correct; they'd moved a little bit further away from where I live, but not a big deal. I then give the woman all my information since it was my 1st time here and think I'm good to go. The next day I receive a voicemail saying that they are rescheduling my appointment (no "we apologize" or "we wanted to see if you are able to", just a "your appointment has been rescheduled"). I hardly ever go to the doctor, so I'm not sure if this is standard, but I was a little annoyed at this. I call the number given to see when I had to reschedule to and the woman asks for my name and date of birth, to which she replies that she can't find me in their system. I tell her that I just received a call from them so I should be in there. She either asks for my social security number or some other identifying information, I can't remember now, and finds me. She says that my date of birth was input incorrectly, and she also says that the call I received was made in error and I don't actually have to reschedule. Part of me is relieved, but I also start thinking that maybe I should have chosen a different doctor's office. I shrug it off and decide to move forward; no big deal. Fast forward to the night before my appointment and I start thinking about what time I need to get up to make it there 30 minutes early like they requested, but I start wondering if my appointment was for 8 or 9; I couldn't remember. Then it hits me, I never received an email confirmation, a phone call, or a text message the day before like most places do. I looked at my calendar and luckily I'd remembered to write it down in there. Next day I show up 30 minutes early and wait in line to see 1 of the 2 receptionists who are checking people in, out of the 5 behind the counter. In their defense, the other 3 did look to be working on doing data entry, but waiting in line for 10 minutes while there were other people who could be helping was a little annoying as well. Finally I get to the receptionist and I'm greeted with a cold, cavalier attitude. I'm then given about 6 sheets of paper to fill out (90% of which is asking for information that I've already given and even those forms are asking for the same information over and over again). I finally finish and realize I wasn't told what to do with it when I'm done. Do I return it to her?, do I give it to the nurse who will escort me back?, the doctor? I go give it back to her, wait a little longer, and then I hear my name called, but where is the person that just called my name? I stand up and look around the corner where there are double doors. Not there. I then walk to the other side of the room and around that corner is a woman waiting with her hand on the door handle. Again, it was just rude that they couldn't have even taken the 4 steps past the wall so that you're not searching for this random voice that you don't know where it's coming from. This woman is also very cold and says everything in a monotone voice. The one redeeming thing about this place was the PA I saw; he was actually nice and had a good personality. Everything else goes ok until I log into their FollowMyHealth website for the 1st time to view my blood work results and I see that they have me listed as a female and my emergency contact information (which I filled out on the forms I was given by the receptionist) is blank. I know all of these are small things, but when taken together as a whole, I will be surprised if my tests are reported to my insurance correctly. Overall, they seem pretty dysfunctional.

I've had two appointments here and I was treated very respectfully both times by all staff members that I encountered. I filled out the registration online and had to wait less than ten minutes. Stacy Moretta is the best doctor that I've ever been to and will continue to see her. The nurse, Marisol, was very nice and I could tell that she enjoys her job. She and Stacy were very comforting and accommodating whenever I got nervous about having my blood taken. I would recommend Healthcare Associates of Irving to anyone.

I am so livid with this office right now. I called asking if my prescription date could be changed to 1 day earlier than scheduled because I am just 1 pill short. The nurse said yes of course no problem it’s just 1 day. When I got to the office, the nurses said they can’t have the date changed. they also tried to claim that I forged the prescription date. At my original appt, the PA Mellissa wrote my prescription for 6/31/18. I corrected her and asked for a new prescription date of 6/30/18 (there is no june 31). She wrote over the the original writing and put 6/30.the nurse said, well in the system it says 6/31. I said, obviously there is no 6/31, the PA made the correction on this script, I did not forge the prescription!. When I let them know this, they still said they could not change the prescription date to 1 day earlier. She even said that Dr. Biard said that I should have 2 pills left over. Why would I have 2 pills left over and May 31st is the original filled date for my prescription of a quantity of 30 pills, that I take daily. today is 6/28 and that pill has been taken for the day! I am so angry that they would accuse me of abusing this medicine and also forging a prescription. I will NEVER be back at this office. I am searching for a new physician right now.

I had gone to Dr. Anderson for about 15 years. I noticed I got an outrageous bill a few years ago and was not even warned at how much they were going to charge me for services I absolutely could have gotten cheaper elsewhere. After that I chose to find a different provider. I called today to confirm the bill is paid off and the billing lady said now they show another bill for an additional $300 that apparently they did not bill me for in 2015! I know nothing of this new bill and will absolutely be taking it to my attorney if I get any further charges from them. Be careful.... this used to be a wonderful and caring office. Seems now they are just money hungry. I have heard lots of other people complain of this too.

My grandma got out of brain surgery 2 weeks ago and she should be getting home health and physical therapy. NO ONE has yet to get this set up for her. I have contacted the hospital Baylor of Irving, the home health agency Encompass, and DR Biards office twice and left messages. I luckily have worked with her physician assistant Missy so I sent her a message via Facebook. She did call me personally and said she would put the order in. I don't blame her at all she can only do what she can in her realm. Dr Biard is a very good doctor unfortunately she is a part of this organization that doesn't care about their patients. So in the mean time I have to sit by and watch my grandma that I live with waste away cause no one cares. I have been in health care for 25 years and this is a prime example why I quit.Sure they want to help since this review was posted my grandma still has not gotten helped. And all she needed was a signature from a doctor. That is how much they "Care".

This facility is so unprofessional. I visit Dr Deems and he is great but everything else apart from him is not god. They will never return your calls or voicemails or they will return when you cannot answer. I have been trying to reach them from 48 hrs and still no response. They will not even leave voicemail with direct number. Even when we go for consultation, you will be made to wait like 30-40 mins in patients room. They run thru your physical exam results as if they are on guns point. I have made 10 calls now and left many voicemails and still no luck reaching Dr Deems office Update: Its been more 5 days now and still no one has responded yet after leaving them almost 12 voicemails. Update: Finally got call from them and my questions were answered.

I went in to have blood work done and was treated like an misbehaving child that was wasting her time. When she walked into the room the first words were “I’m confused, why are you here?” And then I was told to “go to your heart doctor for blood work instead of making us the middle man”.. The staff is quite personable and tend to go above and beyond (even if you're late). Ms. Tabitha is an exceptional nurse practitioner and I prefer her over the physicians. She is quite thorough and actually takes time to discuss your concerns with you. She's not quick to throw a prescription at you, but rather, tries to get to the root of what ails you. Also, she quite knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The new facility (they moved locations less than 6 months ago) is nice and has ample parking. They do in-house labs and x-ray imaging. There's also a compounding pharmacy on the first floor.

My second visit to the new location and both times have been extremely disappointed with level of care. Waiting room has ambience of a bus station. I saw a staff member walk thru the area and pick up a discarded tissue that had been left on a chair. She threw it away but then went directly to the water dispenser to get a cup of water. The hand she used to push buttons for her water was the hand that had picked up the soiled tissue. When I went to the desk to check in, I was told by the clerk that she had to finish documentation for another patient and I needed to wait for her to finish. I told her I felt very bad and might faint if I had to stand up for too long and she continued to work on the documents she had in her hand. My appoinment was at 3:00 , I was a little early but did not get called back to exam room until 3:40. PA did not come in until almost 4:00 ( this is the second appt that I got there on time and was not seen for almost 45 min. ) But that is not the worse, I was given a prescription for an antibiotic that I had a severe adverse life threatening reaction that took me months to recover. I did not realize what she had given me until later in the evening at home. I have been a patient of Dr Deems for at least 20+ years but it seems this practice has gotten so big, the importance and focus of quality patient care is suffering. My level of trust and respect for the staff at Healthcare Associates has been greatly diminished and for sure I will be calling management first thing tomorrow morning to provide additional feedback.

UPDATE- 07/18/2018. Office immediately worked to figure out root cause of the problem, within 2 hours, I got call confirming there was an error in back office which was splitting bill and caused the issue. It was fixed permanently for all the patients and management thanked me bringing it to their notice. I already had highest regards for medical service I get here and my billing issue has also been resolved, changing my rating based on recent experience to 5 stars. Thank you so much to Mr David Harbor, the CEO, for taking care of it. For last couple of visits, we have been getting charged twice as copay for office visit. When we inquired our insurance company, we were told they had sent two different bills for one visit such that each procedure cost us for office visit copay which is wrong. We kept on getting reminder notices about copay dues and finally after engaging insurance company and spending lot of time, Health Care Associates refunded our money. Again, when I asked how to ensure this should not happen in future, answer was if it happens again, call us back and we will again refund the double charged copay. Is this really a solution? What a mismanagement, they wouldn't have refunded our money until we would have followed so aggressively, Need to be very cautious reviewing the bills they charge. Lost my trust to their office billing department.

Since taking over for Avondale Family care in Haslet, my experience with this company has been regretful. I take the same medication monthly, and have for 2 years now. My last visit in December, there was no doctor on staff to write my prescription. Was required to return 3 days later to pick up. Was informed that they could only fill one month at a time now. Called last Thursday to refill, no doctor. Should be filled Monday...Monday came and went, Tuesday I was told they would have this office (Irving) take care of it. Wednesday (now) I am told that to fill my prescription I need to make an appointment with this office or wait out a return of a doctor to my other location, maybe next Monday. TL/DR: I go for a follow up, and pick up 90 days of medicine every three months. When HA of Texas took over, still have 3 month follow ups but now I am required to call each month, and now no doctors/can’t get medication filled.

What can I say? Started seeing Dr. Powell roughly two years ago for migraine help. I have been to many specialists since that time (in just about most areas I can think of), being tested for everything under the sun. I am now back to only seeing Dr. Powell and his amazing team. The wait times can be long, but rest assured that he is giving every patient the same amount of time and attention needed for your visit. Answering any and ALL questions in detail. I never leave his office unsure of anything (unless I just forget to ask... haha). Jenifer Mata is just the same. He has a great team with him. Five stars all the way... no doubt.

I wanted to take a minute to write a review about the referral group at Texas Healthcare Associates of Texas. Having an HMO health plan, it can be a trying process to round up all of the referrals needed when there is a major healthcare event in your life. Rather than asking nurses within each of their offices to handle the referrals, Texas Healthcare Associates has a centralized referral group to handle these requests. They are nothing short of stellar. They immediately answer the phone when you call, they are a pleasure to deal with and most importantly, they get things done. I can't say it enough - thanks guys!

I was needing to see a specialist and she informed me how my insurance company has limited specialist and it would 3 months for this specialist to see me. Worst experience with this association. I and my husband were there for annual physical exams. They uploaded the reports on their online portal but never called. When I contacted them after accidentally finding that my reports were available, they never answered my call and rather sent me an email asking to schedule another appointment if I have questions. What? You want more money from me for your negligence? Many factors in my reports are abnormal, and the details of why those are abnormal or what it means is unavailable. In my husband’s case, half his lab results are missing. The doctors here are good but I will not return to this group ever and will NOT recommend this clinic.

Dr Anderson is an experienced medical professional, I have suffered from a condition since I was 13 and to get to the cause of it, I have undergone all sorts of blood exams there can be. (Blood culture and what not) The result would always be normal, except that I did have that condition. When Dr Anderson did my physical last year and discussed the result with me, not only did he pointed out that I have a condition but he also mention what is the causing that condition. He prescribed me the correct treatment and I am seeing the improvement already.
