Ok. There is no reason that you should have a bad experience here. Dr.Yelton was so kind. Adorable singing and music. The staff was very nice and graceful. The broke everything down as far as charges. (People think that insurance covers everything. Those people need to wake up. I've had all kinds of insurance and it's rare that they will cover 100% specially for root canals.) This is the place to go from now on.Dr. Yelton is bilingual too. I loved it there. They check on you the next day and make sure you have meds too. ♡

I had such a great experience! Getting a root canal is never fun but the singing dentist puts on a great show! Listening to his singing helped break the tension and entertained me. And he also did a great job on my tooth! 5 stars!

This is the second root canal Dr. Yelton has done for me. He is the best at root canals. He explains the procedure and the reason for it prior to starting and also ask if I had any questions for him. Throughout the procedure he checked with me to be sure I was doing alright. I enjoyed Dr. Yelton’s singing as he worked. It helped me relax. The staff is very friendly and informative.

I had a great experience. I had to have my first root canal ever and I was nervous. Everyone in the office explained the procedure to me in detail to calm my nerves. I did not hurt at all. I especially enjoyed the music and the doctor singing. It was very soothing. I highly recommend this office and doctor.

I had been putting off getting a root canal. Having never had one all I could think of was how bad all the stories were. So by the time I called to make an appointment I was in I was having constant tooth pain. I went in the next morning and was very impressed with the overall experience. The staff were friendly and the check-in process went quickly. Every step was explained and went from X-rays to the procedure quickly. Dr. Yelton made fast easy work of two root canals and had me back home before I knew it. The best part was having no pain during the process. Some discomfort from having my mouth open, but nothing a little Tylenol couldn't handle. I hope never to need another root canal, but I know where I'll go if I do.

Beware I went here had two root canals done. I went to another dentist he said there was clouding above this work so I went back here to essential and it was done within a years time this dentist charged me $6000 plus out of pocket to fix his mistake plus late fees. Find another dentist is my advice to you. Would u please call me to see what statue is on resolving this issue

Referred by my dentist for suspicious findings on an X-ray. Got in the same day - wow! Did indeed need a root canal. Dr Yelton is so passionate, confident & expert in his practice, I was very impressed. Was my 2nd root canal ever. Staff was so friendly & explanatory as was Doc. Drilled thru my present crown, NO problems. The whole experience was as good as I’ve ever had in a dental chair & NO pain at all & it’s been a week. AmaZing! Enjoyed his playlist & singing also. Helped my nervousness dissolve. Definitely recommend!

I was very anxious about having a root canal done but the tooth pain drove me to get it done. Thankfully Dr Yelton’s office got me an appointment the very next morning. The staff is very gracious and super nice. Dr Yelton was so good at relieving my anxiety and I have to say this was the easiest, most pain free root canal I have ever had done! I had 1 root canal done and it was the worst experience. First after receiving my numbing injections the dentist didn't allow time for the injections to take affect. He started drilling I jumped he asked "something wrong?" I said yes i feel that! Also the dentist pushed down so hard on my jaw the insert to keep your mouth open loosen my tooth on the opposite side the dentist was working on, also the dentist was pressing down on my head and face the entire time he was working on my tooth. And the loud music playing in the office to which he asked to turn up louder. After all the loud singing I couldn't hear any questions that were being asked or after care information that was given. On top of all that. I called prior to my appointment to find out $$$ the front desk girl said your insurance will pay 100% you own nothing. After I agreed to have the procedure done and I was prep. The girl comes in stated you owe $300.00 in May 2018. Today I get a phone you owe a balance of $160.00. I'm very

I’ve had several root canals done on my teeth over the years but Dr. Yelton and staff have been by far my best experience. I highly recommended Essential Endodontics in the Hulen location to all who need root canals. Dr. Yelton has a lot of knowledge and expertise in his line of work and does fantastic work. I 100% agree with all the other postings about how people love that he cranks up the music and sings along to help distract from what’s going on. I was so stressed out and crying leading up to the procedure and the singing totally calmed me down. I was so worried cause I had to get a root canal on a tooth my general dentist had already tried to complete a root canal on and all during that first attempt they couldn’t keep me numb and I was in so much pain. Thank goodness he knew what he was doing and kept me painfree and as relaxed as possible throughout the root canal

Would have left rating of ZERO STARS if I could have. Here's why. My husband was sent here by his general dentist, Asa Selzer. EE's staff told Dr. Selzer that Essential Endodontics is an in-network provider for our insurance, so hubby drove straight to EE. When he arrived just minutes later, Yelton's staff changed the story--no, they are NOT in-network. BAIT AND SWITCH. But hubby was there, in pain, shocked he'd been lied to...didn't know what to do. I'm thinking Essential Endodontics was pretty sure he wasn't going to walk away. Seriously, that's how you get your clients? He $tayed and had the work done. Then he $aw the bill and REPAYMENT PLAN they had for him. We're PAYING OVER TWICE what we would have at an in-network provider. Thi$ i$ truly a $HADY BUSINE$$ PRACTICE ... again, BAIT AND $WITCH. I *will* $PREAD the word. Don't go here, people. Apparently EE doesn't like waiting for in$urance to pay a di$counted rate & had rather get your BIG BUCK$ up front. But we pay in$urance premium$ for the benefit$, & we don't like being lied to. Dr. JOHN BOND is hands-down the BEST endodontist in the DFW area (and beyond) and is almost right across the street from EE. We've been to Dr. Bond and Dr. Yelton, and we know. YELTON, NEVER AGAIN.

I had a wonderful experience at this office. The staff was great and Dr. Yelton was amazing. I was so nervous before going to the office for a root canal, but dr. Yelton and his staff got me through the treatment with almost no pain. I got distracted while he was working on my tooth by music and him singing. I had an awsome experience today with Dr. Yelton and staff at Essential Endodontics. I was referred to him by my general dentist. From my intial appointment to the day of my treatment the Dr and staff were very professional and courteous. I did not feel a thing. He continued to check with me during the procedure to make sure I was comfortable. He has a nice playlist and good singer as well. I highly recommend the Hulen office for your endodontic needs.

Great experience! Nobody says that about going to the dentist but I really had a great time thanks to the staff. They all make you feel welcome and relaxed, answer all your questions, explain everything in detail, and have everything running smoothly. Especially Sirena, who took cake of me most of the time, was exceptionally thoughtful, caring, and professional. Dr. Yelton fixed my root canal I had already done twice improperly! They were able to accommodate me quickly and provide extensive information what to do after the procedure. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a great endodontist!
