I called and made a same day appointment with Dr. Soares and was informed that they had a 24 hour cancellation policy and if I didn't show up there would be a $30 no show fee added to my account. Just so happened that I was delayed due to a major accident in route and was caught in traffic which put me behind about 15 minutes. I called and asked receptionist to see if I could reschedule and she said yes. About 30 minutes later she phoned me and said before the doctor will see you, " you will have to pay $30 fee for no show before he will even see you" Horrible customer service! I asked them to send a bill for the $30.00 and I will find another dermatologist.

After visiting another dermatologist, I was told that there was nothing that could be done for my problem. That dermatologist spent less than 10 minutes with me, which included a skin cancer check. This led me to Dr Soares. I was impressed. My visit was not rushed. He used a light for my skin cancer check. He took the time to explain the skin issue I was having. He gave me a treatment plan and different options. My skin issue is improving. I was even provided with literature related to my skin issue. I will definitely be back!

I had eczema on my hands that would not clear up with whatever cream I was given. Dr Soares wanted to do a biopsy just to make sure it wasn't something else. Before I knew it his nurse stabbed my hand with a needle full of lidocaine without even cleaning the area. Dr Soares came in and was about to do the biopsy without cleaning it either. I quickly pulled my hand away and told him it had not been cleaned. What kind of a dr does not clean an area to be worked on ?? Horrible experience and still have eczema that isn't cleared up.

I went to see Dr. Soares to clear my acne. I had really horrible acne scars from years of popping pimples. It was a bit of an emergency as I was to be married 2 short months after the visit. After a consultation, the Doctor took the time to answer the plethora of questions I had and prescribed some topical mediation for me. Needless to say, the scars are gone and the wedding pictures came out amazingly. My experience at Dr. Soares' office was comfortable, informative, and most importantly, I got the result I was looking for and more!

I will never go back, Dr. was very rude, I went for something very simple that he don’t even took a look. Then I ask for something else and then he got upset and talked to me in a very rude tone saying you should tell all the details to the nurse, now I have to type everything down in the laptop, I want to help you but you have to help me. What????? Make feel bad for asking something? I’m pretty sure that he will be happy charging my insurance for 3 minutes consultation. Never again.....

I had a spot on the bridge of my nose that didn't want to go away and called Dr. Soares office, they were able to see me that afternoon. The nurse who took me back was very professional yet kind and caring. Dr. Soares came in with very little waiting time, kindly examined the spot and advised that it should be removed. He was very reassuring and gentle, the procedure was performed in minutes and I actually felt no pain! I will use Dr. Soares in the future.

My 5 year old began showing signs of skin discoloration. Dr. Soares was very attentive to my concerns and explained step-by-step what he was doing to identify the underlying cause of my concern. Ultimately, he successfully diagnosed and treated her and she has not experienced any additional skin irritations.

The dr and his staff listened to my concerns, removed the growth easily and quickly! I felt Zero pain! The staff was so polite and helped calm my nerves! I called yesterday morning to get an appointment to have a mole looked at. They got me in the same day. Wendy greeted me when I arrived. When the nurse told me I needed to have the mole removed they provided me with an estimate on the cost. Dr. Soares was very kind, gentle, and funny. I was very nervous but he was able to distract me during the procedure. It was very quick and painless. I highly recommend Dr. Soares and his staff!

I have been coming here for a couple of years - had a skin cancer on my face - took 3 tries before I could even get someone to call me back to get my results - was told I need to come back - NEVER got anyone to call me back to schedule this appointment. After 4 tries I went and picked up my pathology report to take to another doctor. The women at the front are rude and I don't need to be treated like that by someone I'm paying. He needs to revisit his staff.

Please read the other 1 star comments as well. I was limited to only 3 concerns that I could have checked. If I wanted to have my other concerns looked at then I would need to make another appointment. The time the doctor was in the room was about 2 1/2 minutes. I was given a prescription for a steroid cream to use on my mild eczema that cost $1,700 per tube. Lastly, I was repeatedly suggested to use a certain brand name of soap and moisturizer and prompted to only use that brand. I get the impression that this place is strictly about money. I will never return and I will tell everyone I know that this place is a scam.

I spent 15 years suffering with a rash (some type of eczema) on both my legs that multiple dermatologists attempted to address. None of the creams or ointments ever worked, and most made the rash even worse. It was terrible as I was unable to wear shorts or dresses and had to fight to make myself not scratch. Dr. Soares is truly my hero. Over the years I would visit different dermatologists form time to time just hoping one of the could make it go away. I didn't have much faith or hope when I visited Dr. Soares - but he prescribed a different ointment than I'd ever been prescribed before, and he added something to it: He told me to rub lots of the ointment on, and then sit with my legs wrapped in a hot towel for thirty minutes, twice a day. He said my rash would be gone in a week. I thought, "Yeah, right." - BUT IT WORKED! For the first time in 15 years I am able to wear shorts and dresses and I have no worries because any time the rash starts to pop back up, I use the ointment and wrap my legs in towels and - voila! I'm clear again! I adore Dr. Soares because he's brilliant and because he gave me my life back!

THEY JUST LOOKED FOR ABOUT A MINUTE AND STARTED SUGGESTING LIKE 4 DIFFERENT TYPES OF CREAMS AND SOAPS. THEY GAVE ME SAMPLES AND WHEN MY FRIEND AND I LEFT SHE SAID THE SAME THING AND SHE HAD GOTTEN THE SAME SAMPLES AND WE HAVE TOTALLY DIFFERENT SKIN. PLUS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!

Dr Soares and staff were great. The front office was welcoming, had all my ins verified and explained it all to me. Dr Soares has a great bedside manner he thoroughly explained what I had and what needed to be done. They were able to set my appt in a week. The day of my surgery i was promptly taken back explained again what was going to be done. They never missed a beat with keeping calm and comfortable.. The music was the best.. Before I knew I was done!!!

I was in and out in about an hour. I had 2 cyst on my face removed. Dr Soares was professional and very nice to not only myself but my husband as well. My dad has been going to him for skin cancer for over 10 years and loves him.

Dr. Soares is truly the BEST Dermatologist! I recently saw him due to a rash that appeared all over my body. I was miserable and could not handle the itching. I was being treated by my primary doctor for two weeks with no improvements. So, I took it upon my self and came across his information (Really glad I did). His staff was very welcoming, the receptionist was able to squeezed me in there busy schedule (I had called other dermatologist office but there was no same day appt.) He prescribed a couple of medications and with in 2 days my rash was completely gone. I could not be more satisfied with his service.

Staff is very rude. I sent my daughters to Dr. Soares for acne, the nurse took it upon herself to send her prescription to one of their pharmacies. I called the front desk to have her prescription picked up, the receptionist was very rude and felt the need to raise her voice. I do not recommend this place and just wish I would have read their reviews before I decided to send my daughters here. I have never dealt with any office as rude as this place.

I have visited several different dermitologist throughout the years, including some in Oklahoma as well as Arkansas, and of course in Texas. Anyhow, Dr. Soares is the best one BY FAR! The staff is fine, and I am always treated kindly. And the most important part of my review is to let others know that if your looking for a dermatologist and need someone who is knowledgeable and has extremely convenient hours, then this is the place to go! It's definitely worth 30 minutes of your time to go check him out for yourself! Thanks to Dr. Soares and staff for helping me achieve my dermatology goals!

I had struggled with toenail fungus for half my life, trying every remedy possible, and nothing ever worked. Dr. Soares treated me with a combination pill and topical treatment, and I am thrilled to say that my toenail fungus is completely gone! After all these years, I am no longer embarassed to wear flip flops. He also treated my daughter for molluscum that she had for a few years. He was very up-front in not guaranteeing the treatment because it only works for a certain percentage of kids, but it worked for her! She was very self-conscious about it, so making her feel comfortable around friends at school is a huge blessing. I am thankful for the cures he has given us!!!
