I had an unfortunate experience with this doctor. Even though he had my lab work he made a subjective decision that I should cut my thyroid medicine in half. Three weeks later I was almost a vegetable. Canceled cardiac ablation set for early July. Working with an endocrinologist to revive thyroid. It is a 4 month process due to heart issues. Yesterday I got a call from the hospital about pre-op info and surgery. Dr. Abedin rescheduled my surgery and did not even consult me. Not happening. Still recovering from thyroid. I will not be ready until at least end of October. The audacity! I will definitely NOT be letting him perform this cardiac ablation and have already been seen by a different Electrophysiologist.
