We just had our 5th baby and saw a new doctor (Dr. Tony-Ann Wright) as our previous one had moved. She was kind until I asked for vaccine sheet inserts - the actual ones from the manufacturers - for his 2 month appt. I told her I had concerns about vaccines when our 4th baby was getting vaccinated and that our previous doctor sent us a book and said how important and vital they were. We proceeded and he had a reaction to his vaccines that lasted for 6+ months. So, I explained what they were, and that it was reported to the agency in charge of vaccine injuries. I told her that my husband was 100% for vaccines and that I was simply fearful and wanted to read everything possible to know what we were doing before they were given any more shots. She never once had any sympathy or compassion for our child that had been injured from his vaccinations but continued to pressure me to vaccinate despite that. She even tried to shift blame from the vaccines to his body or other reasons. Even handing us a paper with fear tactics to get parents to vaccinate if they were hesitant!! A doctor with no compassion that feels a parent who is researching everything is somehow careless, may not be the doctor or at least facility for us. She even told me that if I chose to delay vaccines or not vaccinate, we wouldn’t be able to be her patients. This was our first visit with her!!! It’s hard to believe someone would just expect us to take a strangers word, especially when they’ve shown no care for our children or the harm they’ve received. Wanting to have a doctor who understands your concerns, will talk through your worries with you, and is genuinely concerned for your child - whether they get vaccinated or not - is what I want for my children. I want a doctor that genuinely cares. To make matters worse, the nurse didn’t bring me the inserts, just the papers the clinic hands out. She was obviously upset when I said I wanted the manufacturers inserts and wasn’t wanting to give them to me. When she finally came back with them, they were completely unfolded and laughing, she said, “Happy Reading.” LAUGHING!! I don’t think a child who has been injured by vaccines is a funny matter nor do I think it’s funny to mock parents who care and genuinely want to know they are doing what’s best for their children. Trying to degrade parents is a very low tactic in any profession, especially the medical field. This is a different experience than we had there previously (we haven’t been in over a year). If you trust the doctor you’re seeing here, great. I will not see this doctor again.

We love Rivergate pediatrics!!! We see Dr. Keith Thompson and he is an amazing, knowledgeable, caring physician!! I took my son to him recently who was experiencing chills and very miserable during the office visit. When Dr. Keith came into the room, he recognized how uncomfortable my son was and got him a blanket and a dose of Tylenol before proceeding with his exam. It's the little things like this that show how caring and compassionate he is. The nurses and office staff are all wonderful as well! Highly recommend this office!

I took my son to Rivergate Pediatrics when he was 2, they have since looked after the medical needs of both my boys (16 & 12) for 14 years. I don't think it matters which Dr. you see (we've seen several) because they've all been very friendly, professional, knowledgeable & sympathetic. But, I want to make sure I give a special "shout out" to Dr. Joan White my boy's primary doctor. She has seen us through a lot from the flu to asthma to Kawasaki disease...she keeps us continually informed & educated on EVERY topic which makes it easier for us to give our kids the best care at home school & play. She has helped us survive illness, injuries & hospital stays. I'm a Social Worker by trade & I'd recommend them in a professional setting always...BUT...I'm a Mom FIRST and I'll tell every mom (parent) or caregiver that if you're looking for the VERY BEST CARE around this has to be one the places you check out. (Did I mention they are aware of the horrible traffic in this town and will do their best to work it out for you...I wouldn't drive across town for just anyone). THANK YOU RIVERGATE PEDIATRICS!!

Love this pediatrican office! I went here as a child and my 11 year-old daughter has been a patient here since she was a newborn. Dr. Joan White is the best!!!! She spends time with her patients and my 11 year-old daughter enjoys going to see her. We live in Clarksville and actually make the drive to Goodlettsville to this pediatric office. The nurses are awesome too and seem to work really well with the children. Highly recommend this pediatric office!

My kids have seen Dr. Pearson and Dr. Eidson since they were babies and they are fantastic. If we have to see another physician there, they have always been amazing. Dr. White is the bees knees. Such a great lady and we've seen her on occasion. We love the care our kids receive and they are so SO good with children. Zero complaints. Even the front desk ladies are super sweet. They've come to know us like family and when we call to make an appointment they always express concern for the kids ailments. If we move, we are still coming here as patients. I've been going here since I was 8 and my family has always loves this office. The staff is always so pleasant and their bedside manner is perfect with the parents and the children. So it was a given to go back for my own children. My son (5) has been going since he was born and they have been exceptional every step of the way. All the doctors are great and will always cater to your child. Referrals are always just as friendly, they do not send you to bad doctors. Your child is in great hands here.

Be careful who you choose to be your childs Dr here. Robin Pearson stated that this was ok. Someone showed up at this Dr's office and used my daughters name to fill a prescription for my grandson. They (did not) ask for ID from that person.. So I told them I was going to report them to the Medical Board because that is illegal.

Today I called in to get a note for my daughter going in elementary and she has a bad cold with slight temperature. They saw her just about a month ago for the cold and tested her for flu and strep and everything possible and it still turned out to be a bad cold. Similar lighter symptoms today and the nurse Deb on phone is shouting at me that no notes for you until we see you, like we are some beggars!!! When we were here the last time just about 1 month ago, we waited for 2 hrs only to find out it was just a cold... we already knew this, we visited so the doctor can see my daughter. This time we already have the medications that were prescribed to my daughter from the last time. We know a cold is a cold it takes about 10 days for kids to complete the cycle and then it gets better. What is the need to shout at us, I don't understand! Update- The doctor called us in the evening and said we needed to go in again to show my daughter who has been seen there since 2017 by Doctor Field who had moved and the other doctor canceled the appointment that we had scheduled 6 months in advance for an annual physical so I took her to another facility at Goodlettsville Pediatrics and brought in her report at the Rivergate Pediatrics for them to register with them for my daughter so they know she is doing well since they were rescheduling my daughter with a male doctor for physical. They had no dates for 2 weeks near her birthday with a women doctor. Then we took her in for a mere cold just so they can see her and check her up physically and did all that was required that day (we were at the clinic for 2 hrs or more that Sunday), strep testing flu test and paid through the insurance for everything. We took their prescription and spend 2 hrs in waiting testing while they were taking care of other patients and 1 month down she gets a cold and the doctor tells me they will not give her a note for school because they don't know my child's wellbeing!! Awful. I mean really is this a doctor 's office or business of making money. Shame!!!

Dr Keith Thompson is absolutely wonderful. My daughter, who is now 28, saw Dr Keith until she turned 18. When she had her own daughter, there wad no question who her pediatrician should be. My granddaughter has seen Dr Keith for over 8 years now. When Dr Keith is out, we she the other doctors who are also awesome. I highly recommend Rivergate Pediatrics to take care of your precious children.

Both of my daughters have been seeing Dr. White since they were infants, and love her! They actually look forward to seeing her and get upset if it’s not their “turn”. I think she is a GREAT pediatrician and I trust her completely even though we share some different views on parenting in general. Her staff is very friendly and professional. My only complaint is the wait once you get taken back, today we had to wait for about an hour, which is better then in the past but still seems long. However, Dr. White is worth the wait and she does give you her full attention when she does finally make it in, which I appreciate! We love her and wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you Dr. White!

This is the best Pediatrics office in the area. We visited at least 5-6 offices when my wife got pregnant and Rivergate Pediatrics was by far the best. Our daughter is 4 now and we only love Dr. White and her nurses more. We've seen 2 other doctors in the practice over the years for unplanned sick visits and they have been amazing, as well. Literally no bad things to say about this office. I would give it 6 stars, if possible.

I live in Bellevue and choose to travel to Rivergate for my daughter’s pediatrician, Dr. Pearson. My daughter had a horrific experience at her previous doctor and Dr. Pearson was extremely patient and empathic. My child would become so hysterical upon entry that we were given our own “wing” in the doctor’s office to be able to walk up and down the halls trying to comfort my 1 year old. My daughter is 9 now and we won’t go anywhere else.
