I swear by this place, Dr Wright and his staff have treated me incredibly well every single time I've been in. Most importantly they've helped me with my allergies better than anyone I've ever seen for allergies in the past. I'm completely satisfied with my results and will continue to go back for potential surgery and routine/seasonal allergy work!

I went there in January of 2017. I was treated great! I also got in and out in great time. I also received a awesome tech who did an excellent job with me. I am now with the office that fits, orders, and maintains my hearing aids. And Dr. Jo-Anne Sacks is awesome!

I typically do not write reviews. However, after an awful experience with this office, I felt it necessary to warn other future patients. I was unsatisfied with the level of treatment and there billing practices are completely unfair. The technicians are nice, however, there business practices are horrible and I will never trust them with my care.

Great Doctor but if I book an appointment for 1:30pm I expect them to see me at 1:30pm not at 2:45pm. Expect to wait a hour or two more than your schedualed appointment.

Pretty hit or miss when it comes to them being on time for appointments. I recommend for the nice staff, but give a low rating for lack of communication. I signed a release for medical records to be sent to them, and after over a month there was no communication. I called in and was told nothing had been initiated but the signed letter was on file. I collected my record and delivered it to them. No big deal. It's just I called beforehand to ask when their lunch is and was told "Lunch starts at noon, but there should always be 1 person at the front to help." Not true, just FYI.

Booked early in the day with the hopes of avoiding the long wait times that everyone else reviewed. My appt was at 8:20 for my 9 month old baby. She has been struggling with ear infections so you can imagine our eagerness for this appointment. I took time off of work to be here. Sure enough our appointment time came and went. Then ten minutes. Then twenty minutes. I asked the woman at registration what we could expect for our wait and she informed me that THE DOCTOR WAS NOT EVEN THERE and there were two other appointments in front of us. I immediately cancelled our appointment and informed all of the others in the waiting room since no one else working there was going to. OAT will not be getting any of my business and i will be sure to tell our referring physician of the awful reviews and their accuracy.

I want to give them more stars based on Dr Mantle, who is such a caring and compassionate doctor. But this place is a mess and I should've gone with my gut. First appointment they wouldn't see me because I "didn't get insurance authorization." I got home and verified that this had been handled and they were wrong. Next visit I waited an hour to see the doctor. Opted for surgery which was unsuccessful. I couldn't schedule my 3 month follow-up to discuss this because the doctor wasn't in the clinic the one day my schedule allowed. I finally blew off a day of school and when I got to the office they told me to go to, I was told I was at the wrong location. Quickly drove to the other office and waited 90 minutes in a room without being seen. I had to leave and the front desk was very rude about it. When I tried to reschedule they kept telling me "just come on Monday at 8am." I had school. That's all they offered. After receiving several very rude messages on my voicemail from staff/nurses, I gave up. But my symptoms got worse so 5 months later I call to make an appointment. They told me they could see me the 31st and I knew I had to work. She found an opening for today at another location. Even my roommate heard this phone call and can verify. I got to my appointment and was told I was scheduled for the 31st. When I tried to explain they were wrong, a nurse came out and confronted me in the waiting room calling me delusional and yelling at me telling me I could just leave if I wanted or I could sit there and they'd "be nice and fit me in." Shaking and in tears, I stayed. I waited an hour and was called back. A different nurse glared me down the whole time and the doctor didn't find any reason for my symptoms. I was sent on my way dreading the next time I have to go back. The office staff will screw up every single time and everyone (minus maybe the doctors) will be super rude to you like you're an inconvenience. AVOID THIS PLACE AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

I am only adding an extra star because my doctor was pretty great (despite not giving my a hearing test like I’d requested when I made the appointment?) Wait time was absolutely ridiculous. I went in April and was waiting for hours. I need a follow up appointment and have been hesitant to schedule one because I can’t take another entire day off of work just to go to the ENT. They recommended that I see a speech therapist but they set up the appointments for a time when I said I was unavailable. I contacted Vanderbilt (where the therapist was) to notify them and the entire thing was all kinds of confused. Apparently I had been scheduled by the OAT office with the psychiatric services? And then when I didn’t show up for the appointment, they started contacting my emergency contacts because they were concerned I was in crisis! Seriously it’s just one thing after the other since I have left that appointment. Now, I got a bill after the fact that charged me a ton extra after what I’d already paid upfront. I called them and they said it was sent to collections, so I called collections and they said they don’t have it, so I am trying to get ahold of the office again and no one will answer, and I learned the hard way in March that they don’t answer messages either. All in all, it’s a mess, and I’m finding a new ENT.

1 hour and 15 minute wait before even seeing the doctor at all. Made me late for work. Nurse was rude. Front of house staff was nice. Walls are paper thin, can hear every word of doctor and patient in next room and hallways.

Very rude and terrible bedside manner!! Would not suggest this doctor at all!! He constantly talks over you and acts as if your response to his questions are irrelevant! I would give him a 0 but that was not an option!! Very disappointed with no helpful information!!

They really had great doctors, but others in the place were...,., Please DO NOT come to this place for anything, I had the worst nightmare at this place this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I read the reviews before I came in..... The front desk”Lady” missed up my appointment time, I scheduled at freaking 8am, not 8:20!!!!!!! Just go somewhere else if you can! Trust me!!!

I have been going to the doctors and nurse practitioners for several years. Everyone has been friendly and personable to me and my son, who also sees them. I particularly like the care I receive from the nurse practitioners. They are often available if my doctor is not available to schedule last minute. I recommend this place to friends.

I have been to the downtown office several times for appointments with Dr. Cate and both Nurse Practitioners! They have always been timely and courteous. I have been an Allergy sufferer for years and didn't know it. Dr. Cate and staff recognized my issues immediately and I barely get colds anymore. Highly recommended!!!

I am from NH and I have seen an ear spcialist all my life, my family moved to Bowling Green KY and I had seen a few ear specialist there and very disappointed so I reached out to OAT, was skeptical but to my surprise I was very pleased and I do not say that lightly. My ear problems are complicated and in NH I had a world reowned ear specialist, he was the best of the best. Dr. Cates @OAT really took the time to listen to me and he answered all my questions. I will be going back, the drive is well worth it. I was very pleased with everything from the scheduling, the wait time and seeing the Dr. I would highly recommend this group to anyone. When it comes to my ears, I don't take that lightly.

I was really excited to come to this office as it is close to my new home and I have to see and ENT a few times a month for chronic asthma and allergies. Unfortunately, I didn't even make it back to see one of the many doctors here because I have never, in my life, been treated so poorly. Charlotte with the short blonde hair at the front desk was frazzled by the time I got there, which happens with any job, and is totally fine and understandable.. what is not okay, and in no way understandable, is how strongly and inappropriately she took it out on me. It completely shocked me.. I don't think even my family at their worst has interacted with me so poorly. I was trying to help give her all my information and she kept rolling her eyes, raising her voice and forcefully giving things back to me. This near violent behavior continued our entire interaction to the point where I felt completely uncomfortable being there. I finally broke down, and in tears, asked her if she could be just a little bit nicer.. :( she picked up the orange tablet and threw it into my hands and said she would make sure to let the doctor know I was unhappy. So heartless. I'm sure you guys are great doctors, but I also hope people make it past your front desk to see you. Sadly, I will be going else where for my health needs, and will make sure that no one else goes here and has to experience that.
