I was refered to Dr. Jolly at the age of around 24. I needed a spinal fusion and had been in so much pain I was willing to try anything. He came off ok at first, but the day of my surgery was like no other ive had before. I was the first procedure and there were between 6-8 of his other patients back in pre op with me. He finished my spinal fusion which was alloted 4 hrs in an hr and a half. Less than a week later I woke up and was stuck hunched to the left and in excruciating pain. I went in had an xray and the hardware on the left had fallen out and was sitting sideways. So back in to remove that side. When I was 18 I had my 1st back surgery and almost died from the most dangerous staph infection you can get. It was in my blood and my bones. It took 3 1/2 months of dripline antibiotics and a pickline to get rid of it. So I was very cautious after this surgery, and I had a hole in my back that wouldnt heal. I saw him about it twice and the 2nd time he was so awful to me. Saying what do you want me to do cut you back open. Then not even 2 years later my new surgeon went in and found that the hardware on my right side wasnt even connected it was just flopping around. Im not saying Dr. Jolly is an awful Dr., but in my opinion your just a number, and he has WAY to many patients, so it causes him to rush and not take the proper time he should. This is just my warning, you can take your chances.
