REVIEWS OF Curcio Dermatology IN Tennessee

This was one of the worst experiences with any type of dr I've ever been to. I showed up early to my appt, I was quickly called back to a room and asked by the nurse or assistant why I was visiting. I explained in detail why I was there, waited a few minutes and then the dr came in. The dr asked me the SAME EXACT questions and I felt like I was on repeat and didn't understand why I had to repeat the questions I had JUST answered. I explained in detail my reasons for visiting and the dr seemed as though she didn't think my concern was the least bit valid. I got very vague answers as it could be this or could be that...not sure, but not severe enough to give any treatment. I left with absolutely no answers and had to seek a 2nd opinion. To make matter worse I got a bill about month later which I am fighting b/c the dr didn't even provide any service other than listing to my answers over and over. I would NOT recommend this establishment

I am from NY and am very particular about my Dermatologist. I decided to go here after hearing about it from some friends. Went for some minor work and ended up becoming a regular. Dr. Curcio is one of the best dermatologist I have been to. The staff is always helpful and accommodating with bookings and their facility is state of the art. Very impressed with the cleanliness and the overall professionalism of the practice. Highly recommend if you want quality work.

Nicole Curcio was the worst decision in specialized healthcare decision I ever made. I too, like other negative reviews here, was rushed through the whole visit. I scheduled a visit to look at small acne like bumps on my arms. She flew into the room and before even taking a close look told me I had 'Molluscum'. She did little to no explanation of what this condition even entailed, yet recommended that she freeze off all the small bumps on my arms with liquid nitrogen right then and there. Before I could even finish uttering my sentence of approval she border-line yelled to her assistant "NOTE THE PATIENT AGREED TO PROCEDURE", and proceeded the 'treatment'. After leaving her office not happy with her procedure or even convinced of the diagnosis at all, I googled 'Molluscum' and laughed. out. loud. I immediately scheduled another appointment with a highly rated dermatologist in Green Hills, and was told I was absolutely misdiagnosed. I merely was a victim of minor clogged pores, and Molluscum was an irresponsible diagnosis. I also consulted a close friend who has been a hospital lab technician for 15 years, who handles skin samples daily, and was told the same. On top of it all, they outsource their billing to somewhere "west coast", and trying to waive the additional 'Molluscum' procedure charges was a complete run-around. So I ate the charge. Advice: Look elsewhere for a skin care specialist

Excellent Physician! Great Staff and Beautiful Office! Office runs on time and her clinical knowledge is superb!

I had a great experience with three pilar cysts on my head getting removed, especially since I'm a professional musician playing every weekend and I didn't want to look unpresentable. I had a great experience. I read these other reviews on here and it seems that anyone who had a problem with her was either late to their appointment or were just bad patients and blame her (like the one who took a conference call during the appointment and didn't like being charged for the time she took up. Really?! ). Give her a try and you'll see what I mean. She's extremely busy for a reason so make your appointment ASAP.

Dr. Curcio is an excellent physician. The office is beautiful and the staff are friendly and efficient. I look forward to my appointments. I can highly recommend Dr. Curcio.

Jenna Preble

Marla Telfair

She is amazing! Spent a lot of time discussing my options and was honest about what was not fixable. I recommend this place highly!

Marty M

Highly recommend. Beautiful office, helpful staff, wonderful doctor. Our new choice for family dermatology.

Jonathan Weindruch

Although I have not received medical treatment from Curcio Dermatology, I have had the opportunity to visit Curcio Dermatology in Green Hills for a few consultations with Dr. Curcio. The office / clinic is beautiful, and Dr. Curcio is easy to talk to and obviously an expert in her field. I would recommend Curcio Dermatology to anyone seeking skin treatment, Mohs surgery, or dermatology consultations (or 2nd opinions).

Ali Veech

Very friendly and efficient staff. I came in for a facial for a "self love" day and I felt so comfortable and relaxed. They showed me great hospitality and I'll definitely come back!

Dan Johansen

Receptionist seems not very bright, sub par.should seek employment in some other capacity, such as telemarketer so she can be hung up on instead of being the one to hang up on someone trying to make an appointment.

Bret Mobley

Dr. Curcio is knowledgeable and efficient. I will definitely continue to see her for my skin checks and skin lesion removal.

To be Fair - The Staff can come across as "snooty" as a first impression. The ladies on the front desk could be more friendly and inviting but they really aren't. They do Charge $30.00 upfront to reserve your spot when you call in for an appointment, however is well worth it if you are serious. Dr Curcio is not your typical Southern Bell. She's Blunt and aggressive but that's what worked for me and my condition. I had several huge warts under my fingernails that I couldn't get rid of for almost a year. After trying several dermatologist in town and seeing no improvement I decided to see her for a 3rd or 4th opinion. She started doing laser treatment and I was able to see a 95% improvement within the first 3 visits. Warts are almost completely gone and have not come back. I am over all very pleased with my results and I'm glad I paid the $35 to reserve that first appointment.

I moved to Nashville three months back and have been looking for the right place to get a facial done. I tried out Curcio Dermatology and absolutely loved the experience! The staff was helpful and accommodating, the office is beautiful and their customised facial was just what my skin needed! Highly recommend this place!

Dave Mullendore

I have been going to a dermatologist since I was a preteen. As I have aged many basil cells have occurred so now I go every 6 months for check ups. Natalie is the best because she is up to date from a skills and technology standpoint. I find great comfort in recommending her to friends and family. Great Staff and great location with easy access.

Checked me in and waited 10 minutes to tell me I was late even though I technically made it on time before the five minute courtesy time was over... Did I also mention they took my money and ran with it? If you wanna pay before even seeing the doctor for a scheduling spot then be my guest, but I'm better off going to another dermatologist who doesn't CHARGE! The ladies up front can care less about you because apparently your inconveniencing them. It infuriates me to just write about it.

JP Dress

I've been going there for about a yr now after being diagnosed with cancer. I've been going every 3 months and am very thankful for Dr Redding (and Dr Curcio of course) for her wonderful "bedside" manner. She's never in a hurry and is happy to discuss any concerns you may have. She explains things to where you understand them as well. The rest of the staff is also always very nice and accommodating. A wonderful place.

Mark Hollingsworth

Dr. Curcio and her staff are top notch. I went in with a rash that was the result of an allergic reaction and after a consultation with the Doc and a shot, I was back to feeling normal in just a few days. She and her staff are knowledgable and friendly. The office is nice and conveniently located in the heart of the Green Hills neighborhood. My most recent visit to Curcio Dermatology was my first and I will definitely be using Dr. Curcio for my skin needs in the future.

Olivia Nash

I must chime in to share my experience. I have a standing appointment each month (aesthetic) at Curcio Dermatology but also see Dr Curcio regularly - as one needs to do when you have reached a certain age and didn't "discover" sunscreen until your 30s. Unlike some reviewers here, I happen to respect the booking policy as well as their late policy. Each (medical) patient spends the majority of their office time with Dr Curcio, and her time needs to be respected and her patients need to be seen in a timely manner. The late policy is smart because it keeps the office traffic moving smoothly - I am into my appointment and out on time. Every time. I am busy and that is important. And in my experience, the staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. It is too bad some patients have left unhappy - or maybe they never even decided to make an appointment, which is a shame. My multiple visits are always the same = great.

Jimmie Hatcher

The worst bed side manners I have ever encountered. Within 60 seconds of being there, I was too fat and my condition was "nasty". It's obvious that they only cater to right white girls with acne.

If you hate burn and turn dermatologists that barely give you the time of day, go here. She was great, and was the first derm who actually gave me an accurate diagnosis.

Scott Cunningham

Dr. Curcio is a consummate professional----she will spend whatever amount of time is needed for each of her patients, giving her patients a first-class experience that is second to none. I recommend her without hesitation---my experience is similar to that of many, a great experience worthy of five stars.

Leslie Nefzger

I had a horrible experience. If I could give less than one star I would. She knew past antibiotics did nothing for my acne, she promised to give me accutane after 2 months of minocylin if it didn't work, here is a huge surprise, it didn't work. And then she completely disregarded what I said after I repeated what she had said previously and then she handed me a prescription for some androgen blocker with horrible side affects, keep in mind I don't have high androgen levels so it wouldn't have done anything anyway. So after wasting 2 months of my time and money here I am out $150 and still have this hideous acne on my face.

Sonal Patel

Dr. Curcio and her team are top notch. I was very impressed with how knowledgable and professional the entire staff was. Left with glowing skin and a new found confidence! The office itself is also very beautiful. Can't wait to go back!

Lashay Hines

I had my first appointment today (10/6/2015) and it was the WORST experience EVER! The front desk staff are so unconcerned and unfriendly; it's felt as soon as you enter the door and the actual Dermatologist is a 'fast talker'... (Hey I've lived almost everywhere, ArmyBrat) I can keep up with the best of 'em but I also know B.S. and 'product pushers' when I see them. She only told me what I already knew from my Google and WebMd research! She gave me a lot of product knowledge but NO SOLUTION or REALISTIC expectations. *Visit at your own risk!* FYI: Oh yeah, the $30.00 upfront 'hold' for your appointment and your co-pay at time of visit, I read the paperwork and it also gives you a LIST of Non Refundable Fees etc... Seems to be ALL about the money and appeal (as you can see in the waiting office). The only GOOD experience I had was with nurse Kelly, she seemed genuine BUT very nervous; maybe it's the 'Atmosphere' (she doesn't belong there)!

Dr. Curcio is great. I have been to a few dermatologists in town and she is by far the best. Very knowledgeable and great attention to patient needs. She helped me out with several problems I have been having. I recommend her to all.

A Thomas

Terrible service. Charge $30 to hold appointments and then make you reschedule if you are 10 minutes late even if it's due to unavoidable traffic delays. Staff conveniently does not tell you this policy up front. Receptionists and manager were rude and do not care about patients. Will not return. This practice clearly doesn't care about helping people.

Asad Hameed

Moved to Nashville from Toronto and I am so so happy to report that I have found my dermatologist. To begin with, the office looks brand new and is very inviting. The staff is friendly (i know other people have had varied experiences but my interaction with the staff was always great), and the waiting area is very comfortable. There is a self service beverage fridge in the lobby, but I have never waited long enough to get a drink. Dr. Curcio is very knowledgeable and very attentive to my questions. And believe me i have lots of questions. And I am very happy with the treatments that I have received. Yup...super happy to have found Dr. Curcio.

Amber Stone

I was just here this afternoon for an acne issue that decided to curse my face over the last few weeks. The staff in this office are some of the kindest people I have encountered at any doctors office I have been to. The office is beautiful and the patient rooms are clean and inviting. Dr. Redding was quick and she was able to prescribe me a few things to help my breakouts. I also had the Dermasweep, which was a quick 20-25 minute treatment. The treatment only left my face slightly pink. It is now faded after only 30 minutes and my face feels so soft and looks refreshed! I will absolutely be coming back here!

Caroline Hubbard

Great experience! I was in and out within 30 minutes, and Dr. Redding was knowledgable and friendly.

Jamie Rathermel

A team of very friendly, professional staff. Dr. Curcio took time to educate me on a number of therapy options, without ever rushing or pressuring me. The entire experience was refreshing - I will definitely be back!

Sharon Sherrod

Nicole Curcio was the worst dermatologist I've ever gone to. It is very clear now that only white women should make an appt. and visit this person. I visited Nicole, just to get a consultation of what product I can have with my facial. Nicole busted in the patient room where I was and flopped down on a stool and yelled, What Can I Do For You. Now this is after I haves filled out all the paper work answering all such questions. It was as if she was attacking me for coming in to see her. She did not wash her hands upon entering the room she did not put on gloves. She touched her mix blond hair, crossed her legs and touched the bottom of her shoe and then touched my face. What she said to me I could have gotten off the internet. I paid for nothing. Very unprofessional and incompetent. If your skin color is darker than white I would not recommend this person. I would not even call her a doctor, actually I am not sure. I will check in with the medical board with this complaint. I also was charged 150.00 for nothing. I will also alert my insurance company so they are aware of where to refer people with skin colors darker than white. Terrible.

David Dilts

Dr. Curcio is by far the best dermatologist I have ever gone to. She is caring, thoughtful, and listens closely to what you have to day. I will definitely use her services again.

Chip McCollum

I had a great experience in their impressive offices. Dr. Cucio is very knowledgeable and courteous and the medical staff is very professional.

Graham Carver

Beautiful office and the BEST staff and doctor in Nashville! They are always courteous and professional.

Mark Turcotte

abhishek Pardeshi

great physician and team. 100% time with the doctor - she spends most of the appointment with you. beautiful office

Aaron Niezwaag

An exceptional experience: staff, doctor, and location were all very professional and welcoming. You can definitely tell the differences between this place and large hospital-like doctor's offices. I will definitely be back for myself and my family!!! Thank you Dr Curcio!!!!

Tom Santi

Dr. Curcio and her staff treated me with the utmost care and professionalism. Many thanks to Dr. Curcio for going above and beyond.

Rip Trammell Sr.

Wonderful professional staff, convenient location with plenty of parking and the best Dermotologist in Nashville.
