I had the worst experience with TOA and Dr Anderson's physician assistant. I had a steroid shot in the knee by Dr Anderson and within 36 hours had severe pain. Over a two week period, I called the doctor and spoke to the PA everyday and saw him three times. I was made to feel stupid, and that I could not endure "discomfort." The PA finally said he felt nothing was wrong, but wanted Dr Anderson to look at my knee. I saw Dr Anderson and was in surgery within 5 hours for MRSA. This led to over 13 surgeries, two month stay in the hospital, and extensive scarring to the point a skin graft was used by the plastic surgeon to close the opening on my calf. I also have a scar from my hip to the knee. My first follow up I am in a wheelchair, and the financial advisor calls me back to set up payments before I can go back. Second visit, they call me back again and I had to prove they were taking money from my account monthly. I am still paying them my deductible after they could have taken action sooner, and maybe prevented the extensive damage, and after almost a million dollars from my insurance has paid. I have been medically released from the TNARNG, because I'm unable to perform. I have medical PTSD now from the event and have to see a therapist. I am young, but lost my ability to do the things I love for a year. However, I have been blessed, I found a wonderful orthopedic from another practice who has replaced the knee and healing. Please, if you use this practice and know something is not right, take charge.
