I love the staff at this location! My husband and I are patients of Dr. Davis and we can't say enough great things about her and this clinic. I have several health issues and need accommodations when visiting the clinic. The staff has always been very helpful, professional and never made me feel uncomfortable because of my difficulties. They are quick to respond, even last minute. The hours are super convenient and check in is a breeze. I highly recommend them.

I found this clinic because I it is very close to my office and decided to go in when I injured my wrist. Next time I will wait for an appointment with my primary care office. I found it disconcerting that they advertise that they accept walk-ins (and they do) but the second you walk in the door with no appointment they let you know that you may have to wait "a long time". It is understandable that they take appointments before walk-ins but the attitude I recieved from the staff made it seem like I wasn't wanted there. I found the staff a bit abrasive (not quite rude, but dismissive and proccupied with the phone and their personal conversations) and they let me know that they did not know if anything would be covered by my insurance. When I explained that I have a very good insurance plan they said "Well, we'll see" and asked me to take my seat and wait. Once I got to the back I was allowed to wait 45 minutes for a doctor to come in and speak with me. The doctor was very personable and quickly ordered x-rays. They were able to do them immediately. I waited another 45 minutes and the doctor came back and let me know they didn't see any issues. In all I spent 3 hours there on what was intended to be quick trip to the walk-in on my lunch hour. I won't be going back due to the fact that I obviously was not wanted there. I get the impression that they take walk-ins to compensate for a lack of regular appointments. I am tempted to contact the doctor(s) and let them know that their staff is most likely driving thier business away.

I highly recommend the Brentwood AFD clinic for all your healthcare needs. You will not be disappointed. They provide excellent services and are very knowledgeable and caring. Easy to get in for physicals, urgent care and wellness needs. A great choice for anyone who cares about their health and wants to have a doctor that cares about them.

The bottom line here is this is a poor business, with extended delays and wait times. They are genuinely aloof, lacking customer service skills, the staff is checking boxes and not very friendly. There are many other choices of urgent care, my advice is go elsewhere.

Bad doctors and bad business ethics . Always selling in house made products and they barely care for their patients. They will just charge you for the visit and try to book you for next visit without fulfilling what they are supposed to do on the visit. Let say if you body pain causing by a fever they would expect you to come for two different visits. Dr Somers or Dr Sam and rest of the other doctors constantly try to sell you their drugs regardless of your medical condition.

I have had really bad experiences anytime I have tried to be seen here. The staff is not friendly or helpful. This place is also understaffed and your appointments will usually be 30 minutes late or more, wasting your time if you need to get back to work.

I enjoy always coming to america family doctors and seeing Rebecca. She’s always so sweet and listens to anything that I have to say. They have the sweetest staff and are always welling to help. I had the sweetest nurse Bayon who was funny and I enjoyed talking to. Neither did Rebecca or Bayon made me feel uncomfortable.The ladies up front at check in were so sweet and I never have a problem with. I highly recommended everyone to America’s Familt Doctor. Great experience at AFD. Came here as a nurse practitioner student. I love the way they treat their patients. They are very personable and truly work hard to ensure that appropriate care is delivered. Dr. Sam and Terri are great providers and I have truly enjoyed working with them thus far. I will never go back here or recommend them to anyone. They took over a week to provide standard results when most Dr offices provide results in 24-48 hours. I called the office a couple times and each time a staff member gave me different information stating you will receive an email or it will be in the portal and it wasn't. Then I called for the last time. I was upset and requested my results and to speak to the Dr. The staff member tells me the Dr doesn't speak with patients you have to come in. Of course Dr Rebecca never calls me and then they send me a letter a month later stating that it was brought to their attention that I rude to their staff member and if this behavior continues they would be forced to not treat me again. Sending a letter and not hearing my side was a poor way to handle this.

Wait times can be horrible. Two visits ago, which was just a med refill, I was the last appointment of the day and the only person there yet I waited for more than an hour to be seen. I was only brought back after I told the front desk person how long I had been waiting -- and they acted put-out. The entire office staff was leaving and I was still sitting there. Another time, I was waiting for 40+ minutes while a nurse is on her cell phone behind the desk. I hate to be a problem but everyone's time is valuable and it's unacceptable to make someone with an appointment wait that long.

Seriously LOVE the AFD staff and doctor's. Found them years ago on New Years as a worried walk-in patient needing someone to look at a whole in my head.... Litteraly! I had a ruptured cyst on my scalp and I needed to be seen that day... But refused to go to an ER. That is the day I found my new Primary Care "home". And years later I've been seen for some many various reasons I don't know where I'd be without them, I'm pretty sure I owe my life to them. They've helped me thru some rough things...they are honest and forthcoming...even when it's hard to hear truth. Like:"I could benefit from some weight loss". Truth I needed to hear from a doctor because I NEEDED to do something. My favorite, Shhh don't tell her, is PA Becca Sommers, she's heard it all from me. But Dr Davis got me Paid one time for having the Flu! If you have to have the flu... Why not get paid while having it?!! And the staff.... Those ladies ROCK!! I'd leave someone out if I tried to list them all... But they know who they are.... And I they make my visits when I feel like "crude" so much better. Seriously all nice and genuine caring people. I kind of owe my life to this group! Oh, I also like the allergy care I've received... I LOVE that they offer Allergy Shots you can do at home!!

As a previous intern there, I was able to see how each and every person fit into a well-functioning system that provided the best care. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sam’s for a year now and he’s an outstanding physician, however, because of the office staff, I will not be returning. Firstly, I’m never, ever, EVER greeted when I come in. Ever. Today was no exception, but I actually watched as the office staff greeted two other patients who came in while I waited. Interesting. Here’s my breaking point; I was in today for FMLA/ disability paperwork. Once it was completed, it was handed off to Erica (I believe that’s her name) by Dr. Sam to FILL IN THE AFD ADDRESS ONLY. She however decided to “review” my paperwork and took 20 mins in doing so. I asked “hey, can I have my paperwork? What’s the hold up?” She responded, “give me a second, I’m reviewing it” I told her it was already completed and asked what exactly was she reviewing? She responded by saying she wanted to make sure everything was filled out correctly?! Dr. Sam is the physician and she’s an office staff-I mean, is it now common practice for office staff to check the work of physicians now, especially of this magnitude? I had to wait another 5 mins before she was done. There was absolutely nothing for her to add as she’s not my physician and knows nothing about my prognosis. It was unnecessary and her “20 minute review” caused me to be late for my next appointment. A couple of the girls are really nice and I wish I knew their names so I could mention them. But most of the staff is horrible. They hang up on you before you’re able to ask all of your questions (if they even answer the phone), the wait times are really long and again, they greet some people *cough cough* but I’m NEVER acknowledged when I come in. My money spends the same as Tom’s and Sally’s and it is disheartening to experience such poor customer service. Again, I will not be returning which is a shame bc Dr. Sam really is a great physician.

I have waited 5 days to hear back from the doctor and still nothing. I felt like no one wanted to help me. I needed x-rays and was sent to premiere radiology to get X-rays as their tech wasn't in. Their message when you call is to email, well I have done that as well and still nothing! I have called in got hung up on. Sadly I will not be back.

I have been going to America's Family Doctors for many years. It was one of the first times I felt like a group of doctors truly cared about me as a person and about my care. The staff is caring and friendly are always willing to help. I have seen most of the doctors here and they all have given me excellent care. Not only do they care about my health, they also care about me personally. I see Rebecca Sommers for my primary care and she is wonderful. I will continue to go back to America's Family Doctors because of the excellent care I have received there.

With them being open 7 days a week, I can go whenever. Sometimes the wait can be a little long, but they have always taken good care of me so it is well worth it. I have been involved in workers' compensation for 20 years, and I have never seen a better walk in clinic for illness or an on the job injury than AFD. I've been to AFD in Brentwood five times. The first visit was fine. The second visit with an appointment, I waited over an hour while walk ins were taken in before me. Okay, whatever. The other two appointments were disappointing. Today, I went to AFD to request a copy of my records. When I got home to review my records, I find two other people's records in with mine, including their Social Security numbers. It is chilling to wonder how many people may walk away with my personal information.

I never write reviews, but I thought it would be helpful for anyone thinking of coming here if you are skeptical. I scheduled a physical with Dr Davis and was sent a confirmation email with my appt. I took off work, drove 45 min to get there and then went up to the receptionist to sign in to be seen. She looked at her computer and said that she didn't see my appt. I asked her if she needed to see my confirmation email as she said no, that she would continue looking. She looked at me and said "They tried to call you - we actually cancelled your appt with us bc we do not offer physicals this late in the day." I said, no one called me or left me a vm to notify me about that. She didn't know what to say other than "we can reschedule you to come back in?" I told her no. Why would I want to come back if they can't even handle appts? To management - this is absolutely unacceptable. Online you can charge your patients $25 if they cancel their appt, but you can cancel patients at any time without notifying them and waste their time? We should send you a bill for cancelling our appts. You guys dropped the ball and I would've respected you owning up to your mistake rather than lying telling me that you tried to contact me whenever clearly you didn't. Thank you for wasting my time taking off work and wasting my gas to get turned away. Not professional.

One basic but very effective thing is at your annual check ups they do your tests first and then you see the doctor so you can discuss your situations based on lab reports.

AFD Clinics is an excellent place! I went there earlier this week, and to say that my experience was "good" is an understatement. I was given all the attention that I deserved. Not only was the staff excelling at what they do but also the clinic as a whole had a very clean and friendly atmosphere. I’m looking at all the reviews that people made before me, and I am shocked! Those other reviews don’t make sense. My visit to AFD was perfect. First of all, I really love the fact that I don’t even need an appointment to visit. It is a walk-in clinic. I also enjoyed the fact that I didn’t have to wait that long for my turn. AFD has a very diligent staff that optimizes efficiency. I feel that the people there were amazing. Dr. Sam seems to be doing a great job at running the place.

I have been coming to this clinic since 2005. I always have a pleasant experience and feel like everyone truly cares. I have been to a few other clinics and you just feel like you are being rushed and they don't care about your issues. I moved to Indiana 2 years ago, but I always come back here when I am in town. I have been searching for an office where I live, and no one lives up to AFD. I save all my issues/concerns for when I come into town to visit family. Thank you AFD!

I am finishing my clinical rotation as a FNP student here at AFD for the summer. I have had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. Sam and the staff at the Brentwood, TN location. This summer, I have been exposed to a variety of medical, psychological, and some surgical needs of patients while being here. Overall, I have witnessed how Dr. Sam cares about meeting the needs of everyone who walks through the doors at AFD. He has an invested interest in ensuring they leave the clinic with a wealth of knowledge to better care for themselves and thus; lower one's risk for disease. Patients have been able to reduce their cholesterol levels and significantly lower their A1C by following diet regimens suggested by Dr. Sam. That is so encouraging to see! In addition, AFD is open seven days a week and takes most insurances! So patients are able to come in whenever it is most convenient regardless of who their insurance provider may be. Not many clinics have that kind of availability! Dr. Sam deserves five stars because of his love for all people, kind spirit, listening ear, helpful analogies, desire to make a positive change in the world, and for the variety of AFD locations and open hours!

When I arrived, they treated me like I was trying to give them fraudulent insurance information. When I was finally taken back, the nurse left me wandering around the facility, trying to find where she went. She didn't explain anything she was doing (including the procedures of a strep test, where they swab the back of your throat with a cotton swab). The doctor kept trying to get me to purchase prescriptions from their clinic. After giving me a vaccine, they did not follow protocol and keep me for an extra 5 minutes (in case I was allergic to the vaccination). Finally, the prescription that the doctor prescribed for me had side effects that lowered my immune system, making me more susceptible to illness. Since then, I have gotten sick 3 times consecutively.

America's Family Doctors clinic is honestly awesome! They always have availability and have really easy scheduling online. Dr. Davis is an excellent doctor who actually cares about her patients and takes time to really listen! The clinic is open until 5:30pm so I can usually make it in after work if I need something! Also they are open on weekends which has come in handy a few times! The staff here really care and always ask about my life and how I have been doing. For once, I enjoy coming to the doctor! Overall, I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone!

Absolutely terrible experience both times. Dr. Davis had me crying in my car after leaving because I felt like I couldn't even explain myself. She is very rude and short. Has no bedside manners. Unfortunately I immidietly switched Drs today. People don't want a doctor to make you feel worse than you already do. Which is why we are there in the first place. Front desk staff was nice, but Dr. Davis truly ruined it.

AFD Clinics is flexible enough to get our family in at the last minute and even on Sunday mornings if needed. We are very fortunate to know Dr. Sam and his staff and we have been using them consistently for the last 5 years.

The staff really needs to let walk-ins know that there might be a longer wait ... I was told the doctor would be right with me ... an hour later I walked out, it took them another 20 minutes to call me (I'm assuming noticing finally that I wasn't in the exam room). If there is only one physician they shouldn't be taking walk-ins. I can only assume that they are too busy and that they won't miss me as a patient from this point

The lady from Quest who does the blood work for AFD is the best! I'm in-out in 15 minutes and you never know you just got stuck and relieved of 3 tubes of blood.....very painless.

The doctors and nurses did not take my medical issues seriously and to top the cake off the nurse with ginger hair and glasses asked for my boyfriends number (a patient), very unprofessional.

I walked in and waited. Forty five minutes later they told me since I have a high deductible plan they'll need to collect $75.00. I know my plan, I know that I don't have a copay and EVERY SINGLE other doctor I've went to just bills my insurance. This is a policy exclusive to this practice, but that's not what I had a problem with, my issue is that this policy was posted nowhere (if it was, I would have walked in and right back out as I knew I was not prepared to pay $75.00) and the fact that it took them 45 minutes to tell me this. I've worked in the medical field for many years now and I know for a fact it takes all of 10 minutes to see what type of plan I have and any associated payments so God knows what they were doing and why it took 45 minutes of my wasted time to tell me. No consideration at all!! Don't bother!!

I have been going to AFD Brent wood location for many years. Every experience has been a good one. The staff and doctors are exceptional. Rebecca Sommers has been treating me for the last several years and she has done an exceptional job taking care of my physical needs. Before going to AFD Brentwood location, I would always dread my annual physicals, but since I have been going to AFD Brentwood location, I don't mind at all. I had never had such a thorough physical, until I started being seen at AFD Brentwood location. They have taken care of many needs that have risen through the years. I can't say enough good things about all who work there. My husband is so impressed with how I have responded to my visits, he is going to buy insurance so he can be treated at AFD Brentwood Clinic, as well. Also, my husband & I walked in and saw Dr. Davis last year for an allegy we had, and we both had a wonderful experience!!! The problem was taken care of!!! I also saw Dr. Davis for an eye infection from a procedure I had done last year. She did an exceptional job treating me, as well. I would highly recommend AFD Brentwood Clinic to anyone who needs medical attention.

They make sure that each patient gets the best care possible. They take pride in their customer service and are always improving their already outstanding reputation.
